RAM, which stands for Random Access Memory is one of the most important parts in any PC. Whether you're building a new PC from scratch or upgrading an existing system, understanding how to properly install and configure RAM is critical.
In 2023, RAM is most commonly available in DDR4 and DDR5 standards. DDR4 and DDR5 are not the same and cannot be used together. When selecting a kit of RAM, it's important to know what type is supported by your motherboard.
This video will teach you the basics of PC memory and take you through the installation process step-by-step including how to configure your RAM in the system BIOS to properly run at its intended speeds and timings.

If I have 4 slots and buy a new set of 32 gig ddr4 tab, should I remove the two 16 gigs? I was hoping I could use all 4
In my mobo (ASUS TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS)it only fits whith the DIMMs the other way. Is this possible? POV: *scared*

I turned on enabled xmp saved and restarted its still reading 4400 mhz. The new ones are 5600. Any idea?
