@❤️KittenCat❤️ It's definitely made a difference. Like if I'm playing a game that uses up 16gb I still have room for other tasks that my PC needs to do whether that's installing stuff or whatever
Exactly what I needed! Thank you! I just got my first gaming PC and just now starting to upgrade. I know there is no need for 64GB of RAM (4x16GB) but would it hurt anything if I did? I've got the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM and bought it to both be awesome as well as pretty, of course.
Great video and thank you for the information so after I replace my ram sticks with the new ones do I need to do anything to the existing setting for the pc to run correctly
I would recommend more than 16 GB of RAM as games like Warzone - and other badly optimized games - take up a huge chunk of memory. I am currently in the process of upgrading from 16 GB to 32 GB as both Warzone and Borderlands 3 (with the settings that let you run it properly) takes up about 90% of the RAM (in combination with background tasks running).
Bleed your computer from residual electricity by turning PSU switch off, disconnect the PSU, and press the power button for 1 minute. If it still doesn't boot, remove the CPU and bleed the computer from electricity again. I'm 3 years late but just in case
I'm no expert so I would like to call out a problem I ran into that hasn't been mentioned on any of these videos. If you upgrade to two sticks or more, remember to RESET your CMOS. If you have installed everything according to instructions and you still find the BIOS is still running single ram, a quick reset reclaimed the dual channel function in the UEFI and all is great. Doubles my RAM. Twice as fast is great, quite a surprise. Great job on the video, very informative except for this one point.
I checked your video to make sure I wasn't missing any steps but I got some pretty useful extra information thanks 👍 I planned on pairing two of my new sticks with one of my old sticks😅
thganks for the info on the ram ,had old 3200 and mix it with 3600 , so i removed them and stay with the new ones only ,,made a good choice too on it ,,

What is your motherboard and what is your ram
The tip at 6:10 helped me a lot I just bought some 4000 ram and had 2400 so this woulda been an issue for me so tysm!
After I put my new ram in and removed the old my pc will turn on but the monitor wont now.
Same :( Did you find a fix??
And my case fans are much louder🥲
Watching this just Incase I ever upgrade my ram
Watching this because I’m going to upgrade my ram...I only have 8GB of ram...

I'm afraid you lost me at 3:30 because my motherboard has _six_ DIMM slots, not 2, 4, or 8. But I'll plow ahead in case there's something useful.
