Why British Actors End Up with All the Good Roles - Key & Peele
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 гру 2019
- An actor who grew up on the streets of Brooklyn has a hard time performing opposite a classically trained Brit in a movie about American gang violence. (Contains strong language.)
About Key & Peele:
Key & Peele showcases the fearless wit of stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as the duo takes on everything from “Gremlins 2” to systemic racism. With an array of sketches as wide-reaching as they are cringingly accurate, the pair has created a bevy of classic characters, including Wendell, the players of the East/West Bowl and President Obama’s Anger Translator.

Basically Ice Cube and Idris Elba.
I was thinking the same thing.

@Some Kind of Master hilarious I get it
No, neither is a gangsta
Damn. Samee thought here
Keegan's British voice got more posh every time he spoke lmao
Too posh lol, especially after the second take where he gives advice!
Susanne Yuk-ping Pong lol yeah
Posh, northern, midlands, Home Counties, southern... pick a part of England and stay with one accent at least
Alex Booth smh there’s always one who over analyzes and wants to remind us there are various English accents and that they know them. Yes we know, we’re happy for you, and we don’t care....it’s a comedy skit, not a primer on accents.
Im English and he sounded like a posh southerner to me. He did well.
Antoine became even more frustrated and shot everyone on set. The police took Nigels body into custody as they didn’t find it believable that Antoine was the killer.
Sets up gunrack skit
That's funny mate. Cheers
they should’ve included that😂😂😂
I thought that’s where this was headed lol
They need to make a part 2 with exactly this storyline
Jordan Peele made this sketch and then went and cast Daniel Kaluuya in Get Out lol
Daniel Kaluuya is amazing actor, better than everyone is america

They're chameleons. Unfortunately Key wants to do stage acting instead of comedy, and Peele turned down the poop emoji role, decided it might be fun, but was too late and Sir Patrick Stewart had already taken the job.
So, maybe in 20 years they'll be back.
