Gene is my fave on this list. Nice dude to bs with and a Savage behind the kit! The true Ambidextrous nature of his play is fucking crazy.
Plus. DEATHCLOCK
hey Samus have you heard of enemy remains?

I have voted Aquiles Priester but then watching realized someone that when you watch live is polarizing and hits soooo heavy. MORGAN ROSE!!!!!!!!!
Hey buddy! Thank you for including me in the list. All the respect for your work, 66Samus! Never stop hammering 🔨🔨🔨
Eloy! Hello. You are amazing! You have inspired me and my hard hitting style. Thank you for being you. And thank you for being a great drummer. You are a very talented musician.
Tinha certeza que ia estar na lista e se não fosse número um seria muito injusto
Eloy the BEAST Casagrande!!!👊💪
What about Danny Carey????
Included?? Homie, your #1!! 🤯
Thank you for mentioning me buddy! 🙏🏼
You are awesome and I wish you and your wife great times in the new house!!
Phenomenal player you are...absolutely crushing 🤘
Watching you play eyeless got me playing again.
Hey KRIMH. I just wanted to say you have inspired me so much with my drumming. I’ve learned so much from you and you have motivated and Inspired me. So for that I wanted to say thank you 😊
yep you deserved it..i like your tracks with LOKUST !!
Krimh! You’re the reason I started drumming. Ever since I saw the cover of Day 69, I was entranced. Where did that vid go, anyway?
Joey Jordison doing eyeless back in 99 hit so hard on more than one level.
i agree
I was wondering where was Joey on this list! :')
Agreed. 99 was by far THE best year there ever has or will be for 91 kids.
Who?
@@djlazore7660Joey Jordison. One of the most famous, influential and greatest drummers of all time. Everybody knows him. But who are you? One big nobody. So keep your mouth shut with your nonsense BLLSHTS and show some respect for far far better people than you’ll ever be.
Prime Lars was such a monster, he inspired thousands to pick up the kit and hit as hard as him, I will always respect him.
Absolutely! The drumming on Master of Puppets and And Justice for all was really good and innovating at the time.
@@Channelisunderconstruction dont forget black album, he had some groove for sure! also such an orgasmic drum sound production-wise
Lars? Prime? Huh? Wtf are you kidding me? Lol
Jajajaja you are a stupid.Lars? Hahah
@@manabjaman6205 No, they're not. You'd have to be quite delusional to not recognize how awesome he was back then. Lars has been a huge part of making Metallica the biggest metal band out there. Respect should be given, even if one might dislike him as a person.
Thanks for the mention brother and thank you so much for everything you have done for the metal drumming community! That’s HUGE!
And las but not least, I love all the drummers in the list and you should be here too!!! 💀🤘🏿
You sir, are a god on the skins.
Much love!!
Nunca imaginei o senhor fazendo comentário de shopping no canal do 66 Samus. O mundo já não eh o mesmo
I have been a fan of yours for a few years now. Mr Psyco-Octopus, you are the man. Much love from North Carolina USA!

Eu: Essa baqueta tá escorregando
Eloy: Baqueta não aguenta .. esses pratos tão mto finos
Aquiles: E esse rack de shopping aqui!!
Eloy was Aquiles Priester's star student, and it shows. That complete focus on power and backbeat just shines through everything they do.
He got taught by Aquiles!!!! man no wonder he's a beast!
Igor Cavalera deserves an honorable mention, atleast.
Holy shit. That explains a lot.
that explain a lot ! thnx for the info !
@@jonnel2000 Definitely... Even Igor's 96' Pinkpop Arise performance deserve to be in top 5 or 3... he was an animal back then
Eloy literally bounces in the air with every hit. He puts his whole body into it. Freaking amazing!
But he have to play forever Iggor Cavalera beats.
He Gorilla fucks those drums
Igor CAVALERA and Eloy Casagrande, former and actual Sepultura drummers.

Tony iommi said John Bonham told him that he was constantly getting kicked out of bands for playing to loud. The OG heavy hitter
Yep.
I wonder why he played with a superheavy hitter like Bill Ward
@@robertoricci3393 This guy was just saying that John Bonham told Tony that. It doesn't mean that Tony has anything against hard hitters.
Who the hell is John Bonham?

Chris Turner hits so f*cking hard that his lifts up out of his chair when he plays double bass.
Definitely check him out
i was looking for this comment… chris is not human i swear🔥
was pretty surprised when i didnt see his name up here
Exactly. He is definitely one of the most powerful, his live performance is just ridiculous. His kick drum is just as loud as his cymbals and snare when he is playing on stage
Triggered has soiled all my clothes
It would be unfair to put actual cyborgs on this list.
Abe Cunningham of Deftones is one of the hardest hitters ever, absolute machine
Yeah I don't know why tf he didn't mentioned him
And he puts up with flat earth Steph

Aaron Gillespie has unfortunately been overlooked on this list. Dude plays with crazy passion and energy especially in the early days of Underoath!

What I was thinking the whole time, half the time he's not even sitting ua-cam.com/video/_EERrIkvnpE/v-deo.html

Danny Carey is a massive guy and he definitely beats the hell out of his drums. Sat in the top row at a tool concert and the drumming felt like I was getting my head kicked in. Even from far away Danny looks massive and jacked . I don’t know how his set survives when he plays the grudge
A friend was at a Tool gig where Danny went through a couple of his cast brass snares. He be a monster.
Immediately thought of him. When I saw him from roughly 100 yards away, I could feel his bass drum hits in my chest, the entire night.
I was sitting by a wall and Danny had a massive gong out during the fear innoculum tour. Whenever he would hit it you could feel the sound waves bouncing off the walls and piercing through your body. I thought he was gonna shatter the gong with how hard he would hit it.
Yes he hits well BUT you all seem to be forgetting what a good sound man and sound system does...
@@ddevil4980 No denying that. A sound engineer is just as much a member of the band as the musicians. As your username reminded me, Meshuggah's lighting guy too!
Glad you included Grohl. Obviously not metal but watch aneurysm or breed at the paramount, a three person band putting out that much sound is definitely impressive
Joey will always be my favorite drummer. His rotating drum set was so sick. RIP.
The way that Dave Grohl annihilates the snare on the intro to “Breed” always makes me smile.
Bleed or breed
@@axelcortes6108 Nirvana - Breed
I think Bill Ward is one of the most overlooked drummer in Rock History, the dude Hit those drums early in the 70's and nobody has seen it before.
i was just about to comment this. that show in paris from 1970 rocked
Yes! and such a hard hitter.
Youre totally right sir!
His drum kit still feels the pain today from them hits
yup he's easily top 10 for this list
There's something about people like Eloy Casagrande or Jason Newsted, it's the kind of musicianship I aspire to be have one day, you feel their soul and raw energy when they play.
i would like to add Igor Cavalera AND both Phil Taylor and Mikkey Dee of Motörhead...both blew me away with their raw power on stage
Mikkey Dee. YES!! That dude hits HARDDDDD. Awesome drummer.
“I don’t even like saying one drummer is better than another, we can have our favorites though.” I absolutely love your positive attitude and perspective on things bro. Drumming isn’t a competition, at least most of the time. We should all be building each other up instead of arguing about silliness like who’s better than who. Keep up the great work man
Absolutely great comment. If we practice well and to our tastes we are individuals and no one can be better at ourselves than another .We are individuals. It is simply a part of our minds, souls and the technique we use. And the circumstances with which we have lived.Hell I have been playing for almost 40 years and my wife got a series of claps in some song down before I did tonight .Oh, well. She had a better understanding of it before I did. And am I said to be pretty talented on the drums. But I loved that she did that. It made me think. Anything is possible for anyone if they believe. My wife didn’t analyze it ,she just did it believing in the space she was in. I was analyzing and failed. Awesome slap from the universe for me.
Truuth!!!!
Very well Said. You are completly right. A like, i agree and respect your point of view. ✌️✌️
You forgot the GOAT of drumming..... NYANGO STAR
dude the hardest i’ve ever seen dave grohl hit the drums is when nirvana played lithium at the music awards. the camera cuts to him on the first chorus and he’s not only head banging from all the way sitting up to almost hitting his head on the snare but he’s hitting the crashes and snare so fucking hard it’s unreal
Matt Halpern hits pretty hard! If you do another video like this, definitely include him!
I'll show my age with this, but Bill Ward and John Bonham were both beasts in their prime.
Fuck yeah they were
And Ginger Baker all three are excellent drummers.
I forgot about them
*Keith Moon has entered the chat
don't forget ian paice to top of the trio
I am so happy that Mario Duplantier made this list! I got soooo excited when you mentioned his name.
Different genre but Stewart Copeland has to be one of my all time favorites for his imagination and consistency, he’s got some chops.
Nice save at the end with Joey and Jay
people would freak out if I didnt, haha!
cheers dude
So glad Rudi got an honourable mention! 🤘
What song was he playing in his mention?
He was playing over the Rick n Morty theme song.
Also I'm pretty sure he recorded a special guest soundtrack for one of the episodes!
Was literally about to say the exact same thing, then I saw this comment. Such an incredible drummer. WC is lucky to have him, he's a super good fit with those guys.
IGOR CAVALERA is some serious drumming and skank beating beast, his drumming from 1987 to 1991 is incredibly perfect, agressive and fast and in live performances he plays the songs way faster and he nail every sonh
Iggor's "pedreiro" drumming style is as hard as it gets.
Igor didn't play even 1 blast beat in any Sepultura song ever. Unless you count the stuff on Morbid visions, which is kinda fast traditional ''blasts''.
@@Vaginaattori hell yeah man, i confused it with SKANK BEAT
@@samot8945 Ah yeah for sure. No Thrash without skanks or fast polka beats lol.
First dude that came to mind for me. He just hits the hell out of them and it feels it.
When you said #5 I was amazed because I love Death & the song symbolic it’s my absolute favorite album as well
My favorite was the live performance of lithium on mtv. The one where krist knocks himself out with his bass,
Dave was TOTAL beast mode that night!!!!
Can I throw in an honorable and underrated mention of Chason Westmoreland here in the comments? Dude is such a beast
Dude! that guy plays his blasts with so much power I feel like when he was learning he said "fuck fingers" 😂
Can i also bump Chris Kontos onto that "HONORABLE" Honorable Mentions list? :)
@@rubberduckman real shit man hahaha
You’re goddamn right you can.
Hugs to Vulnavia!!
Abe Cunningham from Deftones is a hard hitter and has so much flow, creative playing and one of the best!!!
Looking for this mention! Abe definitely a powerful performance for sure! The best thing about him is that beside that fact he provide innovative groove! One of my fav with Mario!
Hey man! Very nice to know you like (like me) might the best album from Angra! Tos was amazing and lives in my heart!
Best top-10 list ever mann! 🤘🔥
Everyone hates Lars, everyone loves Vinnie 😂
i like them both but vinnie actually practiced and kept time but i like the rawness of larses playing its like he doesnt give a f and just jamming
Lars is one of the reasons why a lot of people want to play drums so he must be doing some right 😲
Lol only acceptable answer
Speak for yourself, I LOVE Lars especially because of how much he’s responsible for in terms of the music Metallica has created over the last nearly 40 years! There are few if any drummers who are so involved in the songwriting process. Lars only gets hate because it’s “cool and edgy” to hate on him. People wanted to hate on him for the Napster shit, but guess what, HE WAS 100% RIGHT! Look at the state of the music industry now, I mean Apple won’t even let you buy music anymore, you only get to rent it, for a bullshit fee every month and once you decide to stop you lose it all! Thanks to Napster
@@stevec7435 He did something right yeah, back in the 80s. And with the help of editing of course.
great list , but you missed a drummer that deserves a spot in this list too - Exodus' Tom Hunting. That guy delivers so much energy on live shows it's unbelievable!!
I fucking love Tom, one of the best thrash drummers, his fills are always a work of art. So glad to see he recovered from cancer and has returned to drumming.
Tom Rules!
Tom is my biggest influence on drums, I even sae Exodus the other day and Tom handed me their setlist!
I feel like "The Rev" was missed as well :(
I love the list, everyone has their favorites and everyone has their honorary mentions :) but I really want to honor "The Rev" for being a songwriter and the amazing drumming and singing he did :D
When I was young I used to keep a piece of beef jerky in my mouth so I didn't grind my teeth so bad when I played because I played with so much power. So the joke you made about keeping bubble gum in your mouth is actually a reality.
One thing you forgot to mention about Eloy in that first video, but it also took me many several watch throughs to realize this: he literally wearing a fucking mouth guard. That’s how hard he’s playing. So yeah, he deserves that number one spot.
How did Mike Smith of Suffocation not make this list.. literally hit the drums so hard that he was known for not only his speed but pure power
I gotta mention Matt Halpern here. He may not hit so hard but the passion he puts into his dumming is something else. He leans into it and I feel like the emotion of his drumming is unmatched
Danny Carey is on my list just for his speed and precision.
I have to make an honorable mention of Connor Denis from Beartooth. Man hits the drums like they own him money, especially in the live playthrough of The Lines for instance. He's a monster
Hell yeah! He's a beast
Yeah he’s one of my favorites!
Yeah dude he broke a cymbal live in AZ last year lol
Vinnys' drumming on 13 steps to nowhere is sick
This man woke up and chose to speak fax
I'm Matthew Kelly the composer, I can't play drums to save my own pathetic life so I've been programming blast beats since the 90s. 😭
OK Dawg,
love what you do because you do it well. SOMETIMES you are human, like everybody else in yet NOBODY ONCE THOUGHT OF JOHN BONHAM as one of the hardest hitting drummers (EVER).
Just his hands alone where tearing it up then give him some sticks.... I'd love to know how many cymbals & heads he actually broke not even meaning to.... k, I had to get this out. I feel insanely better now...
👊🙏🤙
Even, well just the lead singer for Led Zeppelin said he never heard a harder hitting drummer behind his entire career.
Now unless I'm the lame ass that missed your mention then I'm a lame ass....
Its all good except you have to give a shout out you left Bonham OFF THE HARDEST HITTING LIST...
Peace & Chicken Grease
J Moon2a
That's awesome you mentioned Morgan rose! Alot of people need to here about these drummers.
One guy that seriously impressed me live was Tommy Clufetos. I seen White zombie live about 20 years ago at a very small venue (3-400 people) during a halloween caberet in regina sask.
i have seen so may bands in my life and never do i ever remember thinking the drums were going to collapse. I know hes not the fastest or most technical but i have never seen anyone else hit as hard as Tommy. He was literally off his stool on every kick and snare hit.. was the craziest thing ive every seen..
love to see your comments on him. i havent seen any footage that compares to what i seen that night live but its clear this guy smashes his kit..
There’s a landfill somewhere in Brazil filled with cracked cymbals and busted drum heads from Eloy over his career. Best drummer in metal right now
Lars in his prime is insane! good list my man.
there's a video on youtube (audio only), of one of their first shows with jason, where the kicks on "four horsemen" sound like he's dribbling basketballs.
@@lesterunwin epic, there’s one in Seattle in the 80s and I think (think it’s blackened) and he looks like he’s on a boat load of cocaine thrashing away about 1.5x the speed , so good 😂
Great list. People hate Lars and I get that but he's always been one of my favs. I know he's not mangini but he's one of the founders of the greatest band of all time.
Great video man!!
Eloy hits the snare so hard, he gives himself a core workout at the same time. 👍🏼
David Silveria has always been one of my favorite drummers. He's hit so hard before he broke his wrist.
evengy novikov from slaughter to prevail is an absolute beast
That poor drum set... rip
Agreed
Chris Turner should be on the list too! One of the hardest hitter right now, without using any triggers or even samples ! (I don’t blame the use of trigger of course) This guy is mind blowing
Great compilation! I might add Ray Luzier from Korn: a freaking legend!
Igor Cavalera not being on this list is a complete and utter sin. He hits SO hard.
would be unfair to other bands to have two Sepultura monsters in top2
@@artursruseckis4242 I understand, but he could have mentioned in the end, with the other not top 10 drummers
100%
@@artursruseckis4242 Its the style of the band, and since Igor and Eloy both hit harder than Lars (and two of the most powerful hitters in history), I don't see how its unfair to have Igor and Eloy and leaving off Lars.
Plus, Igor hasn't been in Sep since like 2007, he's been in other bands.
I mean, just look how pulverizing his strokes are here:
ua-cam.com/video/6rjCLLqJL7A/v-deo.html
Igor is the heaviest! Take off another Brazilian Aquiles and add him
Dave grohl is the one who started my career with drumming, I just love the way he plays and the sound of his drums is just magnificent. Total inspiration towards other musicians
Great list, definitely all top tier drummers. My personal favorite is Dave McGraw of cattle decapitation
Back in the prime KoRn days, I could watch David Silveria hitting them even on mute. He was a beast.
So Chris Tuner and Alex Camarena are definitely missing on the "honorable mentions" list, but still all of the displayed drummers are BEASTS
Chris Tuner and his "shorts"
How hard hits Chris turner? "13 pairs of sticks in one day" hard , love this dude.
where tf is danny carey! his drumming is thunderous.
Somewhere between #1 and the honorary mentions.
Shameful he was missed
I think Danny is more technical than hard-hitting and probably why he didn’t make the list
@@thomasjefferson2676 Danny hits hard, but he's definitely more about control and intent, which gives him such a broad range and sound. I recall on the Pneuma live video, he looks like a dude with a machete at some point tryin to hack through a zombie.
Danny is in another league
Love the list!!!
I don't know whether Kai Hahto is a hard hitter or not but he is my #1 drummer for his insane and creative techniques and speed... He plays/has played in Wintersun, Nightwish, Rotten Sound, Swallow the Sun, Arthemesia and Max on the Rox. He also gives drumming lessons in Finland whenever he isn't touring and if I correctly understood from time to time he gathers a group of promising drummers for a drumming workshops/camps.
Vinnie and Dimebag. Rest in Peace
As someone who doesn't play drums (I play bass) I gotta say The Rev was my favourite drummer just because of how fun his playing is to listen to
Bro I was kinda mad when he didn't say the rev 😅
That's gold! Everytime he hits his snare, I can feel it up here in Canada! YEAHHHH
The Channel is KILLER!
Many Thanks!
Brad Wilk!!
Cozy Powell!!
Peace ☮️
Watching Eloy drum is a joy, his covers in his channel are savage
Morgan is an incredible drummer, no question. Our bands both rehearsed in the same place, and Sevendust were right across the hall from us. We both would show up early for rehearsal, to get some practice in. It was fun trading 4's across the hall, and he would beat the hell out of that kit. We were both in heavy bands, but had different styles and setups. The Atlanta music scene was so awesome back then, everyone would hang out after rehearsal and just chill. The rehearsal space was attached to a live music club, it was the place to be in the 90's.
Hey Samus ! My man ! I really enjoy your videos ! I’ll sign in your drumming community for sure ! . The video was good but I think 💭 you should make another one with the hardest but cleanest drummers out there . Yeah , Gene and Mario are part of this Elite grupo but what about : Jimmy DeGrasso, David Silveria, Mike Smith , Charlie Benante …… among others . Thanks mate
It's a nice list. I do wonder what made you leave Mike Smith off it. Obviously hard not to put him on, but I think he's just illustrative of an extreme metal drummer who, like Lombardo, cares about dynamics, even when playing at insane speeds. The short clip from the Roadrunner United session is proof enough to show that he plays openhanded just so he can switch to pounding the snare EVEN HARDER than he already does when blasting on the ride cymbal.
I love Dave Abbruzzese when he was with Pearl Jam. He seemed so laid back when he played, but he hit pretty damn hard
I was about to write this when I saw your post.
Dave is who I thought of when entering this video. He killed those symbols in the 90s. Pretty sure he had to have wrist surgery because of it even.
Though he is often forgot about outside of Pearl Jam fans. Probably because he does not have many videos online that aren't of old PJ concerts.
But here is an example for those that never saw him. ua-cam.com/video/jPGiwRfGGkU/v-deo.html
@@xtlm pretty sure there's the SNL performance floating around and also this: ua-cam.com/video/llOpE85bmW0/v-deo.html
If that's the case why no mention of Alex VH!? Also uses massive Stix to kill drums!!
I would also put Evgeny Novikov on the list (Ex-Katalepsy, Slaughter To Prevail). If you have seen the Drum Playthrough of Demolisher, you can see and feel how hard he hits the drums in the breakdown like it owes him money. And he is also pretty fast, consistent, precise and creative. If you listen closely, in the chorus of Demolisher he plays a punk style beat, kind of, plus he uses a lot of different cymbals in the songs.
And holy hell, he holds the drumsticks upside down. I assume it is also one of the reasons he can hit the snare during Gravity Blasts pretty hard considering in most cases the sound of the snare is a bit quiet when playing a Gravity Blast.
absolutely.
And david silveria
Evgeny is the best!
Evgeny is amazing on drums
Просто Женя русский вот его и нет в списке.
Entertaining, educational, thank you!
Dave Lombardo! I was able to meet this guy personally during a drum clinic here in SoCal. He is the Godfather of the double BASS as he was the original designer of that original foot pedal with the help from a good friend of his that was a Podiatrist. He was first to break the BASS beats per minute record back in the day.
Mario !
Ba qu'est-ce que tu fais ici coach !? 😃
I love mario
Yes
IT'S ME
Mario!
So many good drummers out there and having some not included doesn't make them any less. Just for that I would shout out my two favorite ones: Tomas Haake of Meshuggah and Danny Carey of Tool
Yes! Alex Bent as well
True words...yes Danny Carey is a monster! So is Haake, both have other worldly time signatures lol
Cant forget jay weinberg and jeremy spencer either
I know this is pretty genre focused but an Old School mention that most wouldn't realize; Phil Collins used to murder the drums. His super deep Tama kit would thunder. The Professor hit pretty damn hard too :) Killer list.
great song choice for Sepultura love that bit
Two personal honorable mentions here:
Brad Wilk - Rage against the machine (hits hard, especially live)
Dave Abbruzzese - Pearl Jam (hits hard, but with such elegance, love the guy)
Dave made Pearl Jam listenable.
Dave Abruzzeze is the man
I feel the same Joan. Dave is a powerhouse with style.
Dave with PJ, is their best era. He gets kicked out and they go down hill
@@danieljohnpeers9777 Sadly true, I pretty much only listen to Ten and Vs. also because of the drumming, but also the overall sound got softer, it kinda moved to like that ballad thing, I feel like it's nothing really memorable anymore. The first two albums are amazing tho. The drum work on Ten by Dave Krusen is amazing aswell.
Tho Dave Abbruzzese's my personal drum hero.
Chris Turner #1 heaviest hitting on kick drum, dude doesn't need triggers and by far the most skilled IMO
I remember Slayer blew me away in the Big 4 (indio, ca) Lombardo was the heavy hitter that night.
Saw Slayer without Lombardo and the magic was all gone.
Totally, it's like lowfat slayer.
Paul Bostoph is a beast to, yeah Lombardo definitely sounds better with them but I wouldn't say the magic was gone... just not as strong.
@@weedsmokinmetalhead i agree Bostaph is a great player, but man, they sounded so plastic at that last concert.
Benante is better than Lombardo 🤘
I was thinking about some of the older bands and an OGR list. Then I realized Hoglan would be on that one too. Watching him play with Death Angel was one of the best things about living in the Bay Area in the 80's.
Mike Smith has a whole video segment on playing harder than everyone
Neil Peart from Rush was also an extremely hard hitter...saw a video clip where he broke the bass drum head, courtesy his drum tech Lorne Wheaton. RIP Neil.
It’s so weird to think that I’ve been a fan well before the UA-cam channel. I became a fan as soon as that amazing intro fill on The world beyond. I still love Abigail Williams.
Dave Elitch when he played with The Mars Volta was pretty hard hitting. Great list.
If I don’t see Mario duplantier on here I will find you.
Edit: ok you’re good

that is awesome dude, thank you so much!
Good list, I would add personally Matt Halpern from Periphery. The dude's kit is always moving!
His poor snare :(
He hits hard yet effortlessly, imagine if he put in the "effort" to hit harder just because x)
Church Burner is the shining example of him being hard hitting
Apparently according to Nolly him and Matt Gartska have both gone through a snare head in five hits or less lol
As a fellow metal drummer, Its nice to see Lars make this list. Every modern metal drummer has giggled at his expense before, but he played a huge role in their success and he's most definitely earned the respect. \m/
I feel like Lars is the best and worst thing to happen to metal drumming. Pretty much every metal drummer under 40 would be lying if they said that Lars wasn’t among their original idols. His influence can be heard in bands coming out today.
But the better you get at drums, the more you realize that his beats sound harder and heavier than they actually are. It’s kind of like when you get old enough to realize that your dad isn’t actually a super hero.
And then you listen to St Anger, and you treat Lars like the racist uncle that always shows up to thanksgiving, even though no one invited him.
@@eddiekalista3222 haha well said. Yea its kinda like, I appreciate him because he influenced the guys I look up to. Still cant help but wonder what they couldve sounded like with a freak drummer back there though.
@@annikancrylarker3314 look up Joey Jordison Creeping Death. There was a Metallica show awhile back where something happened to Lars, and he couldn’t play. So the drummers from the other bands split the set list up and filled in. I think Dave Lombardo was on that show as well.
@@eddiekalista3222 Hell yea Ill definitely give it a look. Thanks for the recommendation!
Exactly man
I do agree with most of the drummers you identified and realize it’s impossible to narrow this kind of thing down to 10. However, I think some hugely influential heavy hitters were left out. Joey Castillo, Taylor Hawkins, Chuck Biscuits, and Bill Stevenson are the first to come to mind.
haha, definitely! that's why I let the community vote with the list
I would not have been able to make one myself lol
cheers dude!!!
I legitimately dount regret my weedwack/reg shaver bundle.
The regular shaver is so consistent you can use it to keep the shadow even on your face.
I appreciate the inclusion of dominator. The reason his tom fills sound so good is he really makes the heads move.
He's the number 1 for me because of his speed/power/precision combo. Just as Sam mentioned - maybe his hits are not as hard as others' but, holy shit, he's fast and tight as hell.
Dominator is my top pick
Honorable mention from me would be Thomas Hakke from Meshuggah. That man is an absolute beast of a drummer as well.
Loved that you, among many othger favorites, picked Pete Webber! Now, do a top 10 grooviest drummers.
