Try gloves. I use CC brand "boxer" gloves.(get them at a hardware store). They have rubber grips and are very comfortable. I only started wearing gloves after like 10 years because my fingers would actually tear open in the winter and I'd get blisters in the summer. I'd even get blisters under my calluses. I really never drop sticks anymore. There are a few pro metal drummers who wear gloves too. Two off the top of my head are Joey Jordison and Matt McDonough (Mudvayne). Though, they both have Ahead signature sticks too. Those are a little slippery.

I just bought a drum pad. I started watching UA-cam videos on how to use them. It's cheaper than a full kit and takes up less space. I also saw that there are videos about using pillows, buckets, pots and pans. Some people recommend buying electronic kits or software. I'm not sure how much they cost. Good luck :)

I want to learn drums.. But they're loud, take up space, and are expensive.
Plus, I don't think I'd be capable of handling all the things you gotta focus on when playing...

You can get second hand ones ive just bought a set of drums for 20pounds bargain they need a clean yh they do take up space I have to move my furniture around my room just to find a space lol

I just bought a drum pad. I started watching UA-cam videos on how to use them. It's cheaper than a full kit and takes up less space. I also saw that there are videos about using pillows, buckets, pots and pans. Some people recommend buying electronic kits or software. I'm not sure how much they cost. Good luck :)
