i do like a nice thematic camp, even at the cost of functionality. but the shelter system does add a lot to the flexibility of this kind of build. i must sat that restaurant does remind me of this little itallian place in Norwich, they have a similar table and kitchen set up to what you ended up with, its a little eerie XD i adore your kitchen by the way, i think the merges add so much to the build.
Cheers! The shelters definitely make this sort of thing more viable, though I could probably have added a shed out back with benches in. Budget would have been a problem though. I definitely wanted to make this as believable as I could do I'm glad/not surprised that it resembles real places! 😎
What a unique build! I laughed out loud at the "bad date" sign in the bathroom. The restaurant layout is spot on. I could definitely see myself eating in such a place. The root cellar shelter is a nice touch.The candelabras and flower bouquets lend an air of sophistication making this an island of elegance in the setting of the post apocalypse. Very well done.
Looks good on many levels. For one suggestion to make it even more realistic is to add a small dividing wall between the dining area and the front door area, so there is more like a semi-hallway between the dining area and the right side wall as coming into the restaurant. This would require removing some tables and chairs, but it can add to more of a cozy feeling and a realistic way to give people to go when just coming in, or going to the kitchen, and give a little more privacy to the dining area. It can also give like a small waiting area for customers waiting to get a table, or who are getting items to go, or to simply meet people.
probably one of my favorite builds that i've seen. love how rustic it is and would love to try and recreate it at some point, but sadly i'm missing so many of the parts as i don't spend that much on this game and tons of the items either never come back into the shop (looking at you, rustic greenhouse kit) or ends up being bundled with stuff that i don't want, like what you said about the roses.
I made a bar in the mire and I’m so happy I did it’s similar to your layout here except it’s quite long with the loft on the far end with external stairs
I'm always impressed by how heavily cluttered and merged builds look but there is something with builds like yours who tend to keep themselves under the game's limitations and capabilities while being "simple" and functional that just sits right with me. Anyway very good looking final result, you nailed it, cheers

Hey Darth Xion. Long time fan of the builds. I've used a lot of your tips for fallout builds. I have a idea you could use to overcome your builders block . I think it would be cool if you built an Appalachian Moonshine Compound. Like a mountain man village for moonshiners. Maybe down by the ash heap would be cool
This looks fantastic I love this. I have finally rebuilt the Petrol Station you showcased for the 3rd and Final time :D. I am looking forward to Season 16 coming up in march because there are lots of camp item leaks that look amazing including a Grass Roof set. Keep up the great work :) Could you not double stack the roofs with a flamethrower
@@DarthXionGames yeah I mean I've rebuilt it 3 times now the first time you showed in an old episode then I updated it looking alot better but this final time I've managed to get everything alligned really nicely and also included some of the newer camp items such as creating a freezer in the back that has the plant bed that eats you in a meat locker
Nice work, only thing id add would be some Metal planters outside the side door with some crops growing tho i guess that you were too tight on budget for that. As someone who spends more time building than playing, these videos always leave me somewhat frustrated with now many ex score board or event Camp items id love to use but cant
I really wanted to use the rose bushes on the Atomic Shop at the moment, but they're only available as part of the bundle. I could probably have squeezed some planters in there tbh, but I was kind of focused on those roses.
@@DarthXionGames Haha, its always the thing you havent got that is the thing you want, i just thought a few planters with some carrots and what no, would suit this build right to a tee. A foundation maybe taking it a bit to far, but a couple of the metal tub planters, coincidently in the shop now, even tho i already have them, would be nice. They will come around tho, i nearly bought a bundle for the ship in a bottle so im glad its in the shop 2moz, nice saving there
@g.g.baxter4868 last time I checked the metal planters weren't working properly. That was a while back though. I've merged other plants and flowers in to them before though. That works pretty well.
@@DarthXionGames There working now, at least to the point you can put a couple of crops in them, In my Seneca rocks build i have a patio section full of junk around my vendor and the planter takes centre stage with some signs hanging off it a bomb on it and a couple off carrots, however i havent gone further to see how much, and which crops can be put in there. I suspect to fill it youd need to use two and blueprint like you do to fill up the foundation pieces

To get a double sided wall under stairs, I find it best to use basic wood walls and burn it. Works for every type of stairs this way.
Very nice, this actually looks like a real restaurant. And the living space is super cosy. Feels like your camps are getting better each week.
