Hi Mr. Westek. My little contribution: If you need dirty water to boil and you have a well in your CAMP, take a drink first and then repeatedly press the collect button while the well animation lasts. You will collect a lot of water without getting radiation. Cheers!
The game counts crops grown at your camp for the “collect wild plants or fungi” challenges. Makes doing those much easier than running all over getting them.
What no way, lol. Actually a good tip, but I usually just go over to the farm where all the corn is for this challenge since I don't like having crops in my camps.
Thanks for the video! Just a few contributions of my own.. I prefer my named weapons to be at the bottom of the list, so I rename them starting with | or || or |||, for example. That way I can group them in logical bunches, and I just scrap or sell the ones that are above them, the ones without those prefixes. The number of items you have to pick up in Summersville is 250. Something I just learned recently (facepalm) is that there are two fast travel entrances to the Whitesprings: one for the refuge and one for the mall. For a long time I didn't know about the direct travel to the mall. About the cryo freezer... if you can't place your camp down on a public world, the food will start to spoil, so make sure there's a backup camp with the same freezer available in case you decide to stay on that world. Another suggestion: if you have Fallout 1st, you can create a custom world with free fast travel, free crafting, take no damage, etc., and use it to complete almost all SCORE challenges much faster. If one of the challenges is complete an event, this custom world will always spawn the event Fertile Soil if you go to Vault-Tec Agricultural Research Center, and you can literally finish it in a minute. And if you leave the custom world, then initiate a private world and cancel that as soon as you can, you can immediately go back to the custom world and it will be completely reset (needs to rebuild), so the event will spawn again, as many times as you like. The same works in the opposite direction, resetting a private world by starting to build a custom one, then canceling.
On Xbox hold the "double window" button (formerly the "back" button) to enter camp mode and, in the case of this tip, claim a workshop. It's the button to the left of the Xbox button on the controller (looks like two app windows overlapping, hence "double window.")
I've learned that if another player is holding a cremator, nuka-launcher, or MIRV at a public event, I'm about to have my Intelligence stat cut in half by their mere presence.
@@solidifytone6575It really depends on the ammo type you are going for when it comes to how plentiful drops are. Generally ammo types that are used primarily for automatic weapons drop more ammo regardless of their fire type. This is the reason 5mm drops are always plentiful whether using a minigun or gatling gun, but .308 always comes in smaller drops regardless of your weapon choice, be it hunting rifle or light machine gun. The cremator from the old season (now raider vendor) is also a fairly ammo efficient weapon for fuel if you just let the enemies take the full burn damage.

Rather have maxed out legendary specials, than master infiltrator. i only need the lockpicking perks, when it's a daily challenge otherwise i dont bother keeping them equipped at all
@RaccoonLex meh, it depends on your build. I keep master infiltrator in when my build doesn't need anything from perception. I use S. E. I. A. and L. plus master infiltrator for most of my builds. Not having to pick locks or do the hacking mini game is a great thing. Saves so much time, especially in expeditions to the casino district. One button tap hacks the terminal and you're good. Same with the silos.
Go to daily ops in a location you want to stay in, leave the game, then join another world, you’ll stay in the same place you were when you went into daily ops. Great for farming, especially the new mods for the plasma Gatling
Could you please explain how farming the GatPlas mods works into this? I'm a fairly high level, and I have no idea unless it's location specific what you're referring to. (And that location for the Ops would be Morgantown High School in order to repeatedly rebuild private worlds and respawn the event Collision Course)
@ , when you go into a daily ops, it keeps you in the exact location you left in, leaving the world, you’ll spawn in that location, do this trick in front of a box spawn location, and you cut out a lot of traveling,
@ , to rebuild private worlds, all you need to do is start a custom world, let it load a little, then quit before it tries to load fully that should reset the private worlds, but you’re better off doing the daily ops trick in public’s, there’s more chances to have the event done and boxes spawned
Instead of renaming with dashes, some weapon/armor skins will prevent that item from being accidentally scrapped since they don't show up at all in the list unless you revert back to the original skin.
What IS IT with folks' aversion to just carrying Disease Cure? Not only can you just use it instantaneously and not have to wait until you are finished with a mission or fast travel, it's easy to make and doesn't weigh much if at all. Unfortunately, the ammo converter only works with basic ammo; ultracite ammo doesn't exist as far as it's concerned. What events in particular do you get the mothman eggs generator and the pink fireplace? (I thought those were atomic shop items!)
They are from the shop. No event plans for them Edit: the egg nest was a reward for Spooky Scorched weekly challenges, and the fireplace was a reward for Burning Love event challenges. No plans were given, they were just unlocked
A very big one to avoid the whole "weight" issue is to just travel to an expedition you can then travel to the Whitespring Refuge, for free and while OVER-ENCUMBERED. I use this all the time after events like Eviction Notice or when I just get overweight in the wild. Makes it super easy to get everything back to stash.
5:14 if silo is shoutdown/in cooldown u wont be able to enter it. so, by checking holotape u save only on unnecessarily fast traveling. and if u launched a nuke, there is 3 hours in real time cooldown on player, but if u server hop you still can run silo, but at very end your nuclear card will be denied.
If you're in the heat of battle and need to pick up ammo or caps before the enemy disappears, press x (xbox) to transfer items and the caps will be first, than the ammo. To instantly just pick everything up just press x again
If you have a bunch of cores and you don't wanna spend money on the core recharger you can just go to a missile silo with electric absorption, swap em. Takes a little time but worth it if you got a lot that are almost empty
I’m curious I don’t see the tab for the legendary section in the tinkers workbench? Is it because I may not have a learned a legendary yet? Do I need to do a quest to unlock learning that stuff?
You can learn some plans from Raids, but the easiest way is to scrap legendary items that you craft, collect or get awarded in events, Daily Ops or expeditions. You don't get the plans every time you scrap, but eventually you will learn it. In the video Legendary Scrip is mentioned, watch this section as it shows trading scrip for Legendary items at Rusty Pick which you can then scrap for scrip and the chance to learn the plan.
3:48 also it's a good idea to keep something that you don't care about at the top of your list in case of an accidental scrap via glitch while scrapping in a different column
You can also always know where the horde is, for example if it’s a ghoul horde and wss is in the circle that’s most likely it. Or whatever area is normally inhabited by that creature
You mention the Master Infiltrator legendary perk and comment something to the effect that you "can basically just equip this almost from the start". Excuse me? How exactly does one equip legendary perks from start? I didn't think you could even get a legendary perk card until level 50 or 100. I'm lvl 40 and I sure don't have any legendary slots or cards.
So you're still basically at the start. Level 50 is where you unlock the highest level of armour and weapons, upgrade perks etc. Level 100 will be the next big one 😊
I mean your not wrong it is better used. If you kill all enemies you should be fine with switching perks it's just a huge pain to. Could get very annoying. But an additional legendary perk in its place could make or break a build.
So far there are 2 main expeditions in game , Pittsburgh and Atlantic City , i do think you have to complete a few quests to have access to these, but you can Google how to start Atlantic city /Pitt :) it's best to have a full team unless you're super OP
Sometimes when you get stuck, you can try continually turning your character 360° and jumping. Doesn't always work but it's faster than power armor for when time matters.
Great video again! Legendary Scrip, I use them to get modules bc it costs so much now just to craft one legendary mod. Feels like wasting them at Rusty Pick for a chance at a weapon/armor, for another chance to maybe learn a crafting ability. If you're stuck and can't move, you can also fast travel instead of using power armor. If you're a non PA player like me that works too. You get two free rerolls per day. If the Weeklies are doable, and a Daily is annoying or harder, I'll use a free reroll on it. I mean why not if it goes back to 2 the next day? Your PA Chassis weighs 10lb? Why does mine say it's 0? Hmmm. Have a good one!
Attention fancy C.A.M.P builders: MOVE YOUR SPAWN POINT, so we don’t spawn in through your floor and or get trapped in some glitchy thing you have built.
i'm surprised you didn't include the overencumbered fast travel trick. go to Atlantic City Boardwalk via the map and then fast travel back to Whitesprings Refuge.

Events or during seasons? I don't know
They are from the shop. No event plans for them
Edit: the egg nest was a reward for Spooky Scorched weekly challenges, and the fireplace was a reward for Burning Love event challenges.
I havent played in over a year. Just coming back now, and whatever I did know before, I dont remember. I feel so lost haha.
Thank you for all you knowledge!!! Did not know about the power armor getting you unstuck- learn something new every day.
You bet!
I carry a bottle of Nuka-Shine with me if I get stuck. It takes longer but the view’s much nicer when it works 😂😂😂
@@MrWestTek However, if you are already in your power armor, there is no room to exit. So you have to respawn to a close location.
If you have a bunch of cores and you don't wanna spend money on the core recharger you can just go to a missile silo with electric absorption, swap em. Takes a little time but worth it if you got a lot that are almost empty
Love all of yoyr videos. Great stuff!
Just got the game and your tips help big time
Gold vendors at crater, foundation and Vault 79 have a lot of useful plans! You need ally rank to raiders and settlers to unlock all plans
@@angeporter5543 ohhhhhh thanks! :)
3:48 also it's a good idea to keep something that you don't care about at the top of your list in case of an accidental scrap via glitch while scrapping in a different column
wow, I knew almost none of these tips. Thanks man!
Been playing since release, with almost 8k hours under my belt, and just learned the craftable item trick for cooking, LOL!
To cancel the hero landing, you can fire with the Plasma Caster too.
Thank you for this, helped a ton
You can also always know where the horde is, for example if it’s a ghoul horde and wss is in the circle that’s most likely it. Or whatever area is normally inhabited by that creature
You mention the Master Infiltrator legendary perk and comment something to the effect that you "can basically just equip this almost from the start". Excuse me? How exactly does one equip legendary perks from start? I didn't think you could even get a legendary perk card until level 50 or 100. I'm lvl 40 and I sure don't have any legendary slots or cards.
I think he considers level 50 the "start" because he's level one-thousand something
@@LauncherSpiderMk7 *10-thousand something 😉
So you're still basically at the start. Level 50 is where you unlock the highest level of armour and weapons, upgrade perks etc. Level 100 will be the next big one 😊
Another great tip - Quad railway is SO GOOD haha
If only the ammo wasn't so heavy.
Thank you for the popcorn tip. 👍
Your name and level will forever be goated in 76. 🙏 We all know why.
1:46 I just equip the perk cards when I need to use them.
That legendary perk card slot can be better spent in my opinion. 😂
I mean your not wrong it is better used. If you kill all enemies you should be fine with switching perks it's just a huge pain to. Could get very annoying. But an additional legendary perk in its place could make or break a build.
You’re so goated bro, found your channel and it’s an absolute gold mine of information!
"goated" *chuckle*
No difference between lvl1k & lvl10k just more grinding xp
New Guy here - What are and where do I find these “Expeditions” you reference here?
So far there are 2 main expeditions in game , Pittsburgh and Atlantic City , i do think you have to complete a few quests to have access to these, but you can Google how to start Atlantic city /Pitt :) it's best to have a full team unless you're super OP
@@kamichan127 I've only ever solo'd expeditions and never died (came really close my first time going to The Pitt because I ran out of my main ammo).
Sometimes when you get stuck, you can try continually turning your character 360° and jumping. Doesn't always work but it's faster than power armor for when time matters.
Wonder how long this game will keep getting updates? Like how much play time is left, I love it wish I got in sooner
I'd say for quite a long time, until they release Fallout 5, which will take years to develop anyway!
Great stuff! Thank you the video!
I noticed that thing about seeing what items the player has on the first day they did that update 😂
Attention fancy C.A.M.P builders: MOVE YOUR SPAWN POINT, so we don’t spawn in through your floor and or get trapped in some glitchy thing you have built.
An item going to get their gameplay and quite frankly, you always need one whether you’re a power armor user or not
Another fantastic video! Thanks MrWestTek!
Amazing job!
i'm surprised you didn't include the overencumbered fast travel trick. go to Atlantic City Boardwalk via the map and then fast travel back to Whitesprings Refuge.
level 10k?do you play any other game beside fallout 76?i have been playing it for the last 6 months and i'm bored out of my mind since i have nothing left to do.
I just killed my first scorched beast 2 days ago! Man that felt great, I had help from 1 other guy, I was running around and this thing just came at me near the Whitespring golf area. Again, it was awesome. I got a quad crossbow, no idea if thats any good, but I killing that thing got me to level 70 finally.
FYU I could not select a legenday perk until I hit lv 50. Also I did not do the legendary crane mission until I got to 50 like someone recommended, kept the hunting rifle, love it. Also that camp is where I go to get ammo for new stuff I get, like ammo for the gauss once I decided to try it. I might go get more nukes and try a ultra light mirv launcher someone gifted me, Daisysomethin. Anywho.
Thanks for all these tips!
I've learned that this game is a broken mess, but for some reason we all still play!
❤️❤️❤️
True 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wasteland Masochists Unite😂😂😂
On PC, hold down the build menu (default V) to claim a workshop from a distance!
A popcorn machine produces popcorn which counts as prewar food for challenges.
That's a great tip, thanks for sharing!
If you are over encumbered you can start a expedition then fast travel to White spring
The one bad thing about the Ammo converter is that it doesn't convert to/from Plasma Cores, what every Gatlin Plasma user needs.
What event drops that fireplace
You can get the ammo converter with bullion.
How do you have a carry weight maximum of 566?
Hope this helps :)
ua-cam.com/video/uBQ3TVU-rfA/v-deo.html
@@MrWestTek Helpful as always. Thank you sir!
Do you have a video on how to get your weight as low as possible (in terms of what to keep and what to drop)?
I assume you'll need the medic legendary on the thirst zapper to heal stuff right?
yes
leveling on 76 is so slow lol. after a month of playing i am still only level 35
@@JLgaming74 Then, you are playing in the wrong way, yesterday I was 551, today I'm 592
Yeah man try looking for groups or join casual and event teams and do events leveling isn’t hard
Great video. 🤘
