If you havent figured out the lighting in the trailer yet, I find the Caged Lights work nicely. I usually angle them diagonally in 2 sets to form a sort of V shape with the point in the middle of the trailer. Great build as always Darth!
I've made a few adjustments to it that have moved in the right direction. Further tweaks may be need though! I quite like the cage lights too, bit for this one I wanted a white light. I prefer that for more functional areas.

Crushing it as usual. Kind of therapeutic to watch these too 👍🏼 also, the little mushroom table lamp would maybe look solid/not too bright for the crafting space if you have it
A good simple and creative build really tickles my fancy since I'm more of an outdoors/wilderness-like type of person when I play this game, really like making cabins and the like
I've been enjoying simpler structures a lot recently. The Forest is probably my favourite place to build too and it works well for camp-style camps. There are great places to build camps that are less likely to be found by raiders too so it makes sense as a place to set up to me.
Love this. So many great ideas. I use the white floor candles around my camp for some soft good lights. They illuminate well and require no power. Try one and it might work for you with your crafting area.
I usually go with lanterns for that. I might give candles a look, though it seems a bit risky near a chemistry station! I found that most of the options were either way too bright for the small space or they just didn't light a large enough area. I can live with it for now though. 🙂

Ok, ok ok, I love your builds & I know I gotta get buying more stuff in the atomic shop 😕 which kinda sucks but I just wanted to say, your point about the doors opening outwards! Yes! It’s annoying as hell lol I got clarted off one of the small broken floors in the asylum because I opened a door & it just yeeted me down to a bunch of ghouls lol
I imagine so. I use them a lot though and I wanted a more daylight look rather than the tungsten vibe. Not that I was entirely successful there. Doubtless I'll eventually use the trailer as a living space though and I'll probably use the cage lights then.
An edited extended camp decoration guide for this would be really good... also an unedited 3 hour Darth just decorates (members only) video would also be really cool... Beautiful camp build again, not jealous at all ;P
I knew you'd be up for that! 😂I'm not sure about a 3 hour one though; It'd need to be the full thing and there's a big chunk that didn't get recorded I think.
@@DarthXionGames Just putting up the unedited footage as a members only video wouldn't hurt would it? (don't know how members only videos would affect channel viewing figures). members are already invested in the channel and your content, so bonus "behind the scenes" "warts and all" videos may be a perk for joining. To be fair I have no Idea how long it takes for you to build and decorate a camp, its taken me 13 hours in one day to go from concept to reality in one build, if I had streamed it on Twitch as a private stream I could have uploaded it as a continuous video on youtube (nobody would watch it lol). (well except me). Possibly an idea for future videos/content though, edited highlights and decorating videos for main channel, then extended/unedited video's for members only.. just an idea.
I've done custom videos for members before, stream highlights in particular, and it hasn't worked out. I don't mind putting the time in, but I found even channel members tended not to watch them. Either way I'd want to tidy the footage up and make things a bit more consistent and engaging at the least. I can't imagine watching me scroll through menus for 5 minutes only to place one thing, then repeat the process, would be particularly watchable. Decoration time varies depending on the camp, this one was about 4 hours I think, which is pretty average.
Great build I never understood why they keep making walls that only snap on one edge especially with all the cool gates they have in game. A suggestion you can place the cooking station that is just a pot on a raised metal grill on that stone seating makes its look cool and it also is functional aswell.
I've already got a cooking station in the house and the build budget is maxed out too though I have done that before. The one thing I'm not keen on there is that the animation doesn't gel well. your character ends up sitting in mid air. I did see Norespawns use a cauldron in the same way recently though - that would avoid the animation issue as the character stands to use it.
I've tried to set it up that way before. I find either the cooking station is off center or the character sits in the air between the seat and the fireplace. The cool thing about the cauldron though is that you stand on the stone ring around the fire.

I've done a few builds that have that sort of vibe. There's specifically a Hunter's shack inside last summer and I did another small cabin build just last week that should fit the bill. Have a look through my camp playlist if you like too, there's probably a couple of other builds in there that might catch your eye too. ☺️
@@DarthXionGames I'm trying a bit of an experiment atm, I built this camp, but all my structures are blueprinted and it's themed around blueridge using a few truck beds and trailers to make it look as mobile as it's supposed to be. The idea is that I can move it and rebuild it in just a few minutes.
Please tell me where to get tulips arrangement and daffodil arrangement?. I didn't find them in the support list. Maybe they are in some kind of kit or bundle that can be ordered through support? The Flower arrangement set is also not in the support list...(
Having a quick look around it seems like you'll have to keep an eye on the Atomic Shop. Those to pots sometimes come up as part of a bundle but I don't think I've seen them recently. Bethesda have reorganized some of the bundles lately though so it's worth having a thorough look.
Nice. Fallout's lighting has always been shit. I assume it's because it's GPU hungry to do physics accurate lighting so the fall off is always far too steeps to avoid calculating greater interactions. Shame though. Sure they could do MUCH better.
