I think this is one of the coolest builds you've had. Nice to watch how you worked out the kitchen with that little space. The Bigfoot rug beside the shower had me laugh my ass off!
Cheers! 😁 That kitchen went through multiple different iterations before I got one that worked. Those wall cabinets are a bit fiddly, especially in small spaces like that. I did love that rug by the shower. As soon as I scrolled past it on the menu it just had to go there! 😂
Hey friend I'm Appalachian. That swing actually isn't that off for us. That shade of blue is called haint blue, and is believed to ward off bad spirits. Not only did you make something that looks really believable for the game, you also made something you may actually find here in these mountains!
That's interesting. I was more thinking of how it stands out as quite visually different from most of the other objects we have to build with in the game but if it has ties to real world Appalachia that's a pretty cool touch!
lovely place would have loved to see the greenhouse section in the dark with those lights kind of hope they give the rustic one a set or porches in the future.
It seems likely they'll add porches to it, the way things have been going. You know, I don't think I've seen it in the dark yet either. Might have to keep an eye out on stream tonight.
If I may darth, when you’re building with the stairs, use a regular metal stair that attaches to a foundation. This changes the build order so you can remove the staircase. Instead of removing everything attached to the staircase
I'm not the biggest fan of those tbh. I prefer to have the staircase beside the wall rather than in the middle of the foundation, especially in compact spaces like this. I know there are ways to work around that, but it's not going to be worth the hassle I don't think.
@@DarthXionGames Stuff like that never ceases to amaze me. You'd think that the most obvious way to place stairs to an upper floor, would be to have them up against the wall by default right? Then *maybe* you make placing it in the middle an extra option. But no, the basic stairs snap with a huge gap on the side by default. Like who does that?! xD Same with posts, most will obviously want them at corners. But nope, snaps to the center so you have to painstakingly work around it to get them where a sane person would naturally put them. The amount of times illogical stuff like that happens and compounds in this game is truly mind boggling.
Shoot, just yesterday I was thinking about how I could use inspiration for incorporating a conservatory into my camp house build. Appreciate the walkthrough, very well done.
So, something I figured out this week while I was updating a very old build, those interior double sided brick walls are terribly optimized, after swapping them with something newer, still hidden by wallpaper, I actually got a few flamingoes back. Something to consider moving forward.
I like that a lot. The Responders set is probably my favorite. I've currently got builder's block. I recently bought a new camp slot and I cannot think of anything to do with it. Has that ever happened to you?
It's a good set. I do wish the windows were transparent though. Builder's block happens fairly often tbh. New things to play with help, and sometimes I go through older prefabs or suggestions from comments. It can be a struggle though.
I ran into the same issue... its a pain. I had to put the curtains on first, before putting the stairs in, then use the flamethrower trap on the wall so that the stairs would snap. Unfortunately to do all that the stairs have to come out, which means removing the upper floors and all the adjacent walls. 😣 Definitely the most frustrating moment in the build for me.
It looks like I'll be steaming Fallout 4 a bit at the very least. I've been enjoying playing it again. As for builds... We'll see. I'll need at least one player home and a Mercer Safehouse if I keep playing so maybe?
Do you know the name of the atomic bundle (I'm assuming it was a bundle) that included those dark wooden walls? Also what is the exact name of that wallpaper? Would appreciate the feedback! And GREAT JOB! LOVE IT! PS - I really wish they would bring back the grey block wallpaper....plz bring it back Bethesda!
Thank you! The white wallpaper is the "Oval Office" wallpaper, the other walls in there, (if that's what you're referring to?) are wallpapered with the "Walnut Panel" wallpaper. Both were season rewards, the Oval Office ones fairly recently so they'll probably be on the Atomic Shop in a catch up bundle eventually, but it might be a while. The walnut set is a bit older but may have been a Fallout 1st reward so I'm not sure if or when that might appear.
@@DarthXionGames thanks for letting me know. I was afraid the dark wooden one was a season reward....guess I can only hope it will show up in the atomic shop one day, thank you sir!
Hey darth I've been trying to recreate a build from a video called 'free state Observatory' since there's no tutorial, could you try recreate something similar or can you do a tutorial on how to build a 16 wall/floor dome since its what i have the most problem I'll appreciate a response.
Just taking a quick look, it's an impressive build but looks very difficult. Its a bit outside my style really. I'd think it might be possible to build something with fewer sides using blueprints but I wouldn't know where to start with something that required the level of glitching in that build, assuming it's still possible. There might be some tutorials out there though from someone more familiar with those kinds of builds. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. It'd be an awesome project to pull off!
@@DarthXionGames I understand, I've been trying to build a dome and I can't seem to be able to pull it off, I can do a smaller dome but one that big which is 16 walls all around seems impossible to do, but thank you very much for your response.
That’s a lovely camp. I particularly like the conservatory with all the plants. ❤
Thank you! 😁

I moved in to a pre existing small cabin just above button greens not to far from this camp awesome build my friend ❤
A small pre existing cabin you say...🧐🏃💨
Cute little camp there Darth, very homely x
Thank you! 😊

This is so charming. Really fits the setting :D I would very happily spend a post-apocalypse here
Thanks you! 😊
I think if that's what the end of the world looks like, it could be worse!
Small and beautiful !!

Nice timing then! 😁

I really enjoyed this one. I've Been using the blacksmith house a bit bc it's easy on the budget.
Thanks! 😎
Nice prefab that blacksmith building. I enjoyed checking it out a few weeks ago.

Nice ❤
The thing about those surf board shelves is that they're a free wall shelf. For those of us that already have the hanging one, they're meh.
Hey Darth, I just can't seem to attach the curtains next to the stairs.
You got the tip or build order for this?
I ran into the same issue... its a pain. I had to put the curtains on first, before putting the stairs in, then use the flamethrower trap on the wall so that the stairs would snap. Oh well, here we go. Destroy it 😂
*Disassemble! 😂 It sounds slightly less heartbreaking!
Where does that front door come from
That's an Atomic shop item.
U comin back to Fallout 4 ??

@@DarthXionGames nice , I will keep an eye out 👍
Having to double side those walls before putting in those stairs is super annoying because I always forget...
These things tend to catch me out too. 😅

You never know. If it's fallout 1st that lowers the odds but it's happened before. Always worth keeping an eye out.
