Thank you, that means a lot... trying to keep the momentum, my issue is I'm a bit of a perfectionist so hinders the speed I get content out...hopefully this new POV series which is less edited, will help weekly views and promote more growth on the channel... thanks for watching and supporting 👌
That’s how I use to ride mine. Most fun jet ski ever. I use to also make a fast circle at wide open throttle and lean my body to the outside of the ski. I know that sounds crazy by not leaning to the inside but it kept the jetski level making a sharp circle turn. Basically if you make a fast left turn lean out to the right.
Nice! I will give that a try...sounds odd thinking about leaning the other way but sounds fun.... the bit I was trying to master was leaning inward i.e. the direction you're turning and powering on, so my whole body is basically in the water and digging the nose in to progressively sub it... kept getting dragged off...think I need to hold on tighter lol... love it...puts such a smile on my face and don't want to get off... Thanks for watching dude 🙌
just come across your channel I used to launch my speedboat from Burnham decided to get Jetski now live in wiveliscombe not far from taunton and I cart believe how many places you cart launch a Jetski from I haven't got a 2 stroke but ive subscribed because I find them so interesting just finding places to go I struggle with love your channel by the way
Hey dude, thanks for subscribing! Yeah, finding good spots to launch can be a bit of a mission, especially around Taunton and the surrounding areas. Burnham used to be a decent spot for speedboats and skis alike, but it’s definitely more restricted now. The love for 2-strokes runs deep here, but no worries if you’re on something different - it’s all about the ride, right? If you need any tips or suggestions for launch spots, give me a shout, I’m always happy to help! Cheers for the kind words, mate. Thanks for watching!
LOVE IT! Good thing when the engine was out, we put brand new mounts in lol... don't know how anyone could resist throwing this ski around like this... and don't get me started on wave jumping lol.... love it! thanks for watching 🙌
Thank you, thats ace that my videos are sparking inspiration to get yours back out on the water... you won't be disappointed...I had hours of fun on Sunday... didn't want to come in 😂 Glad you like this new format... this type of video is part of a new 'POV' series, designed to allow me to get ride content out faster than my more detailed content.
Thanks man, really appreciate that... issue with adding a new ski is die hard 2 smoke fans get a little funny about it...that said, I think it would be intresting to see me riding a new gen to see what its like and for you guys to see also.... tricky one with what I would add... the gen 1 spark is the closest to this 1995 xp IMO, the jetblaster is nice but a bit heavy I think... Thanks for watching 🙌
@@classicjetskis yup fair enough, but it would be sick to see you make a comparison comparing the x4 to a spark or your wave blaster to a jet blaster, but keep up the good content, so happy i found your channel and the production value is insane, keep it up
When you spin. Put your weight on the single back corner. It will stand straight up and stay that way 4 or 5 times Or do a spin and in the spin you spin on the nose to get a submarine and fire hose water cannon. Old school freestyle You should be able to . Bounce it left then right and then full 180 or 270 in the air with muscle
I did start towards the end of the ride putting 2 legs on one side and that was really fun... Its only my 3rd ride so still getting the hang of it, but I will give your suggestions a try ✌ I did the 52mph and hard turn after building up to it and that is an experience I'll say... doing spins etc at up to 30-35 is fine but full speed turns are harder to hold on! Thanks for watching
I have the same ski. Recently my Vts gauge stopped working and it’s super hard to ride not knowing where the jet drive is pointing. Atleast the trimstill works but the gauge is faulty. Any ideas on how to fix it?
That sounds frustrating! The VTS gauge can be tricky when it’s not working right. First, I’d check the connections to make sure everything's plugged in properly. Sometimes it’s just a loose wire or water ingress which you will need to dry out and use something like GT85 which is a water displacer but electrical safe! If that doesn’t do it, you might need to look into replacing the gauge itself or the VTS motor. Glad the trim still works for you, mate! Hope you get it sorted soon so you can get back to riding without any worries! 🌊🙌 Thanks for watching 💪
Central to 1 above for speed runs, all the way up if you want to spin it, straight into a tail stand and if you want to spin with speed, just 1 above central.... what you will find is, if you want to corner it fast, if you keep the VTS at the top it will keep popping the nose up and you'll get lots of ventilation from the pump... very fun to spin and nose up, but by having the VTS central, it means you can go faster and spin it faster and pull out of it faster and flatter... Thanks for watching 👌
So I use Premiere Pro for the video editing, After Effects for the motion graphics and Davinci Resolve for colour grading. Then on the actual filming side, I use a mirrorless camera with multiple lenses and then go pro for headcam stuff. I do pay for a drone pilot for certain videos. Hope this helps, you don't need to use all of the above FYI, I'm a designer by trade so makes sense for me to use what I know, but I know guys that edit on all sorts and get great results. Videos are first and foremost about story telling. Thanks for watching 🙌
@@arthurramos6758 3/4 trim. Weight towards the rear. If starting from ideal. All weight forward as you speed up weight goes back and trivial goes up. Elimination of cavitation
Little tricky at the moment to tell... my VTS is working perfectly however the VTS clock had water ingress from the past owner, so trying to track one down.... currently have to look back and see the nossle position...not ideal.... but yes agree with your trim setting... Its actually a faster ski than I realised....only ran it in chop so far, it was like glass Sunday, so did the classic 52mph and then turn the steering hard.... love it.... Thanks for watching 👌
I agree when starting from idle.... weight forward stops the nose wanting to pull up... that said, if you ease in the throttle you get a better pull away IMO...👌
I would take sponsons off new spark but when I'm dealing with my old clean classics for me my love is keeping them completely OEM. I bet its fun though, thanks for watching 😊
you make some good quality films, you will become a bigger youtuber in time. keep up the good work 💪👌

Nice man, hope you get it ready and get out for the summer riding season, they are so much fun. Thanks for watching dude 🙌
That was my first ski back in 97 broke a lot of motor mounts doing 360 but totally worth it. 😂

I agree... Its faster than I thought as well to be fair! I can only imagine the 787/800 is the perfect power for this hull. Thanks for watching 🙌
Love watching these videos to motivate me to work on mine. Great video quality as usual dude 👊

i love watching these videos, you should try add one modern jet ski to your collection like a yamaha ex i reckon, better than sparks imo

And 3/4 trim up us fastest on all Seadoos. Full trim up pulls the intake out of the water so you lose speed
what position is the best for max speed on xp 717?
