This is raelly dope. :) almost no one I know uses trackers almost anymore. I remember when I first started making music I used modplug tracker and impulse tracker. The only guy i know that uses a tracker anymore is Mesmer, he makes sick breakbeats.

Nice to know that you already have a contact with trackers, I find it really fun to compose like this :) In fact there is a growing community of people using trackers, especially with the recent release of furnace, just search for keywords like "famitracker; deflemask; furnace; open mpt" etc. and have fun! :D
Hmm dunno if I understand the question correctly. When I compose something, I usually really like to make transitions between one musical section and another, so my music ends up being a collection of "transitions" :p I don't usually make music exactly in the style of a composer or a specific game, but in this specific case I accepted it. I analyzed some classic mega man and final fantasy songs and tried to reproduce some of the main characteristics of these songs. Obviously, since I'm doing it, in a way it's going to sound like a mix between the style of the songs and ""my style"" (which I don't know what it is or the characteristics). If you are asking specifically about the third song, I tried to use elements that are on my album "8 bit Fantasy & Adventure", such as: using 2 expansion chips -> VRC6 and MMC5. Other than that, I think the focus was on keeping the timbre, textural and formal characteristics of the album: focus on accompanied melody, contrasting sections using some major to minor modulations, etc. It wasn't something I thought about a lot actually, at the time I thought about doing it as an additional song that would fit on the album.
As a Mega Man fan I can confirm the first one would be something from and actual NES/PS Game
