Considering the fact that in a Q&A, Laura made Travis sleep on the couch for slapping Trinket on the behind and making him run into danger, I think poor Travis already knows.
While putting something that your SO treasures at risk is never a smart thing, it was Grog, and he does have a low intelligence.... Travis was obviously ACTING... and doing a fine job...

I love how they asked Nala for advice on what to avoid and she said to not trust anything, especially to guide them, in the Feywild. And the first thing they do is trust someone from the Feywild to guide them. 😂
@@Haunted_Gallows I don't know... he's definitely clever but Laura is amazing and Liam is as well. Liam is most consistently in character, Laura is the most impactful, Tal and Travis bring unique style from their characters. Liam gets a better chance to show his RP with Caleb in C2 as Vax was a loner and troubled so just came off as temperamental and a bit annoying at times.
Me tooooo! I wanted him to stay with her for a little while, seemed like it would make both of them happy. (You know, if she was being truthful at all, which who knows.)
2:44:36 "...I am possibly the worst person you've ever met." Either the music has an eerily good sense of timing, or someone was waiting with their finger on the button for Percy to go full creepy.
I wish I hadn’t known about them before I started (I watched TLOVM first). I would’ve loved to see all the subtle hints about it. The way Percy shows Vex how much he adores her by giving her shiny things and weapons that he’s made her. Always making sure she’s safe (especially after the Sunken Tomb fiasco) and the way Vex will run to Percy’s side almost as fast as she does Vax’s 😭❤️
He actually asked her what her last name was. She answered that she didn't know, but even if she did, she would never use it. That was the moment he decided to give her… I'm not going to spoil the next episode, but if you've watched it, you know what I'm talking about
Matt at 1:16:00 like "It's hard to gauge since there's no sun and you don't have a central timepiece" The very moment Liam decided his next character would take Keen Mind. 😂
when Percy asked "who's there?" While talking to Vex, it sounded very much like "who am I going to threaten tomorrow?" Also, I thought it was so clever of Percy to ask if Garmili had self portraits. Sneaky man asking sneaky questions.
100% agreed. I love all of their rolepays, but while Scanlan's or Grog's for instance are very over the top and comical and whatnot, Laura is to me the one who makes her character's emotions transpire in the most subtle, realistic and impactful way. Her acting and portrayal of Vex'ahlia is phenomenal. That scene with Percy blew me away. What she conveys in her look, her voice, her mimics... just wow. 2:29:58 for those interested in rewatching that beautiful scene :) Honestly, this has become one of my favourite Critical Role scenes so far, just for Laura's outstanding performance.
@@rickrack4325 While I agree Laura is great here, I feel like you're selling Sam a bit 'short' there. Scanlan is one of the most multi-layed characters in the group. He may act silly and over the top more than anyone else, but he's the also most mature, considerate and thoughtful member of the group when he needs to be. He knows when its time for fun and he knows when its time to listen and be there for his family. His serious moments are extremely realistic and relatable. Grog... Well he's just Grog, but his child like innocence combined with blood thirst is pretty interesting to see.
We all know the Percy/Vex conversation is adorable, but can we appreciate how much character work went into it? Like, Laura put so much work into Vex being ‘greedy’ to pay off here. And Taleisin is always so careful with the wording, he says something along the lines of “rich people don’t deserve you” which is both sweet and self-deprecating, showing Percy really doesn’t think that he deserves Vex.
They're Vox Machina. Scanlan took on an entire houseful of guards on his own and set fire to said house. Vax and Scanlan forced themselves inside a Dragon, and then they killed it. I'm realizing that a lot of the crazy stuff happened because/with help from Scanlan, but it still generally included Vox Machina.
"Dont make deals with anything or anyone" Percy: "its time to deal..." Does percy have some type of ocd where he has to agree to every dubious deal he can find? Smoke demons, Criminal syndicat, strange beings from the feywild... and oh boy, just watch him in the 9 hells... He is the smart one right??
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how Liam does his best to look at every character when speaking to them, despite not being there physically? 1:59:00 is impressive.
2:27:34 I don't remember Percy and Scanlan having a one on one conversation before but this was such a damn smooth dialogue between the wittiest members of the group. This is the best duo.
Percy is my favorite Critical Role character ever, but I personally believe he doesn't like Scanlan because he's the only one who can be wittier than he is, hence their lack of conversations. This conversation is outstanding though, Liam comparing it to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern was very on point lol
2:31:17 A sweet moment between Percy and Vex'ahlia. Laura is so deep inside her character, she is really fighting tears in this scene. She is so vulnerable, it is a powerful scene.
49:52 I know everyone credits Matt for his ability to do so many voices, but good lord, this is on another level entirely. It's unreal how he can change his vernacular and way with words, all seemingly off the cuff and making it all up on the spot. He's not just doing a voice, he's doing a voice AND speaking in flowing old time fey-like rhymes and whimsy. And he's not reading off a script, he's coming up with it on the spot in response to questions the players ask. You could find a thousand other DMs, and while a handful of them can do convincing voices, I doubt any of them could come up convincing Shakespearean-like fey dialog on the fly.
"And besides: if they have something nice that makes you feel inferior, we can just take it. ... And then they're just shit without anything and you're you with their stuff." Taliesin is so clever.
I’ve been watching his expression during the exchange and it looks like he’s checking to make sure she isn’t truly crying and then realizes that oh no she’s just that good of an actress! 😂
See also his drowning scene in the Raven Queen's temple. As he goes to swim up and NOT find the surface he says "I do NOT do well with this" before Mercer can act it out. That whole sequence really..."was I broken or did it make me broken?" "Im good at fixing thing" Oh gods, my heart was breaking for Percy.
My Perc’ahlia heart is living!!! Laura Baily’s acting is always impeccable! And Taliesin has a way with words! Vex is one of my favs and I’m so happy I’ve reached her arc!!! And I’ve been waiting to arrive at the start of Percy and Vex’s relationship! I love all of these dorks so very much!

*SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* I think it's so neat that Laura's character was the first to spot the "satyr" in the grass, and that she spotted him making crude drawings... Happy little accidental poetry, there.
The dawning light of inspiration in Percy's eyes goes completely unnoticed during the scene of pike being sketched. From the second his and Vex's talk ended Percy never left while Laura surfaced to listen to the show, laughing all the way. You can honestly see the moment the lightbulb turns on in his head, he even moves his hand as if double checking. Not to mention he confirmed in a talks machina that the note he handed her was to ask for Vex's full name. He had the plan, all he had to do was finesse it while everyone was busy.

João Sousa Well, it all has to do with the DMs discretion. You could also say that a MMM made in the material plane isn’t supposed to have gravity since not all realms have gravity. I think it’s understandable to say that some of the properties of the realm they summon the MMM in to carry over into it
It kinda depends on how you determine the spell works. If it's sort of a spacial bubble, then it's effectively considered part of the plane it was summoned in, whereas if you consider it to be more of a demiplane then it might not be

I can't wait for something extremely powerful they fight to eventually one shot Trinket. I just want to see the reactions that will bring. Sorry, Team Trinket
That's just being a Richard...
inb4 Trinket comes out against Thordak, and he just explodes right there.
I love how they asked Nala for advice on what to avoid and she said to not trust anything, especially to guide them, in the Feywild. And the first thing they do is trust someone from the Feywild to guide them. 😂
😂😮
It's "Feywild" for a reason. It's wild.
I hate that no one seemed to hear Grog saying they would put braille on Percy's gun after Nala said she couldn't cure his blindness 😂😂😂
It's because he forgot that they'd need to put braille on the targets too.

Finally percy says something that was actually correct...
Vex/Percy is happening so slowly and subtly and I love them. A lot.
This is the best slow burn I’ve ever been subjected to I’m IN LOVE with both of them
I watched the campaign live and I didn’t catch it back then so the confession came as a surprise, looking back at it….it was very well setup.

I love the way Laura's smile takes up about 50% of her face when she fully deploys it.
She's beautiful
DEPLOY THE SMILE!
**tiny figures start scrambling around inside her brain as WW2 sirens begin to sound**
AWOOOGA! PREPARE TO DEPLOY SMILE! ALL HANDS ON DECK!
No, every single figure falls unconscious except for one, which remains standing, smiling, chanting "I AM PURE!" without actually speaking.
when Percy asked "who's there?" While talking to Vex, it sounded very much like "who am I going to threaten tomorrow?"
Also, I thought it was so clever of Percy to ask if Garmili had self portraits. Sneaky man asking sneaky questions.
Jesus Laura is good. First talking to Trinket. Then, with Percy. Glad to see her spotlighted for a bit because she definitely rose to the occasion.
Erd Tird Mans it's crazy the emotion they bring to a d&d game
Oh my dude you have no idea

"I wish that Nala had cast Blindness on ME."
Good grief, Sam is the freaking best.
This. Exactly this. Perfectly summarized. The characters are amazing
But he got her any way 😂

They literally did everything on the "absolutely don't do these things in the Feywild" list. :P
I personally expected to add a few more items to the list

OMG, Matt's face at the Blindspot joke at 1:00:05. Like: "I can't believe I'm going to give him ExP for that..." *facepalm*
Jokes don’t give ExP :)
@richard cariven Matt’s given a little bit of ExP for really good jokes or a really good Scanlan song before.
Great Voice Actress
I agree, great actress. but I always love her animated reactions to situations.

The scene between Percy and Vex is beautiful. I really felt for her and Percy was so lovely about it.
I love how during the conversation between Percy and Vex, Travis is just all eyes on his wife. Completely enraptured by her and her talented acting.
I’ve been watching his expression during the exchange and it looks like he’s checking to make sure she isn’t truly crying and then realizes that oh no she’s just that good of an actress! 😂
I gotta admit : I cried a little when Vex talked to Trinket for the first time.
The power of imagination. The mind truely is an amazing thing.
The amount of happiness that came over me when I saw Ashley still here in this episode was indescribable! She is amazing
Yes! Percy's self-imposed save to have a panic attack is the sign of a great roleplayer!
Watching real actors play D&D truly is an enchanting, emotional experience. Never stop Critical Role.

Technically the deal was made in Mordenkainen’s Magnificent Mansion dimension and not in the Feywild, so maybe the deal is breakable?!?

I think it’s understandable to say that some of the properties of the realm they summon the MMM in to carry over into it
It kinda depends on how you determine the spell works. If it's sort of a spacial bubble, then it's effectively considered part of the plane it was summoned in, whereas if you consider it to be more of a demiplane then it might not be
