I will just add and correct something about the carbs intake. if your are in intermittent fasting. You should eat enough carbohydrate since you are about to fast 12 14 or 16 hours don't go low carb since you're in a fasting. if you want Low carb then go for Keto Diet with just a low intake example 40grams of carbs a day. I am a dietitian here in new york. I have lots of clients which are athletes and it works for them. The science behind this kind of fasting is that your body will use all the calories from the foods you've eaten and acts as energy in some sort. Your body will use the stored foods like for example 16 hours fast and that will sustain your body needs and eventually helps weight loss. Imagine if you are working, student or an anthlete, without enough carbs you will suffer from low blood sugar.

Nag start po ako ng intermittent fasting. 16/8 po. 6 am water/peppermint tea. 10 am po ako bfast cucumber, egg, lettuce lunch 1-2 pm protein po. Dinner 5-6 pm. Lunch/dinner kumakain po ako ng tinapay/ protein meal tama po ba ginagawa ko? Hindi po ako nagra rice. 😅

Instead of fruits, you can break your fast by eating eggs or fermented veges like kimchi

Your daily ulam's sabaw (nilaga, tinola, bulalo) are way much better to take when breaking your fast :) Unsweetened almond milk is on caution list.

Regular milk is high in sugar in the form of lactose.
Bone broth is the best to break a fast, or any liquid you have para maka adjust ang empty stomach.
