    I will just add and correct something about the carbs intake. if your are in intermittent fasting. You should eat enough carbohydrate since you are about to fast 12 14 or 16 hours don't go low carb since you're in a fasting. if you want Low carb then go for Keto Diet with just a low intake example 40grams of carbs a day. I am a dietitian here in new york. I have lots of clients which are athletes and it works for them. The science behind this kind of fasting is that your body will use all the calories from the foods you've eaten and acts as energy in some sort. Your body will use the stored foods like for example 16 hours fast and that will sustain your body needs and eventually helps weight loss. Imagine if you are working, student or an anthlete, without enough carbs you will suffer from low blood sugar.

    Doc good morning ask ko lang po pwd bang mag fasting f Wala nang gal bladder. Nag low carb na ako Ng 3 months no rice no sugar no fruits salamat.

    Nag start po ako ng intermittent fasting. 16/8 po. 6 am water/peppermint tea. 10 am po ako bfast cucumber, egg, lettuce lunch 1-2 pm protein po. Dinner 5-6 pm. Lunch/dinner kumakain po ako ng tinapay/ protein meal tama po ba ginagawa ko? Hindi po ako nagra rice. 😅

    😇ThankYou po doc sa information/advice... nag try po ako ngayon ng IF 16:8 kasi kadalasan dinner namin 6 tyaka sa Morning halos 10am na nakakain kayi ito nlng yung schedule na gi follow ko... okay lang po ba yan Doc hindi ako nag start ng 12:12... after eating time tubig nlng po yung iniinom ko... ginfollow ko din po advice niyo na d iinom ng tubig or maraming tubig pag gabi.

      Your daily ulam's sabaw (nilaga, tinola, bulalo) are way much better to take when breaking your fast :) Unsweetened almond milk is on caution list.

      i follow OMAD and i only take tea during office hours.
      recently, i have my annual health screening, got high RBC of +45 in my urinalysis. and high triglycerides also, but the doctor says high triglycerides is ok, he is more concerned about the RBC.

      Okay naman, as long as low carb. It's best to break the fast with liquid such as bone broth, low carb soup etc.

      12:12 fasting is enough po. You have an active lifestyle naman kasi kumikilos kayo sa farm. Ingat lang din po sa food, iwasan ang nasa danger list at paunti unti lamang ang nasa caution list.

      Regular milk is high in sugar in the form of lactose.
      Bone broth is the best to break a fast, or any liquid you have para maka adjust ang empty stomach.
