One of their best songs ever. Came out in 91 from Slave To The Grind. Sebastian was that singer that made you feel everything back then. Love that song and still do!
His voice is definitely incredible. A lot of people say he can’t sing like that anymore, but it’s complete bullshit. I just saw him on the 30th anniversary tour at the end of 2019 and I was blown away. He can still wail.
Good afternoon my beautiful Russian friend.. ohman, such an awesome jam.. the vocals of Bach are a master piece. Love this song.. early 90's it was released.. slave to the grind is a great album. Love the hair, and your voice ...thanks for reacting my friend.. be safe out there.. love it... next some red hot chili peppers...
You're completely right, their solos are amazing. Scotti Hill and Dave Sabo are both awesome and very underrated guitarists. I'd recommend reacting to "I remember you" and "Monkey Business" by Skid Row.
I think you have covered the majority of Skid Row's more popular songs , There is one more you should probably do ? ( I Remember You ) , it's probably the song that made Skid Row one of the more popular bands in the 80's and 90's Metal scene ? I'd also 'Highly recommend' . . . . My favorite band from that era , TESLA ! ( Maybe start out with LOVE SONG , or WHAT YOU GIVE ) ? Love your videos , keep em' coming ! \m/ \m/
This song is off Slave to the Grind, which was released in June of 1991. The Skids went on tour and took Pantera as their opening band, on Pantera's first stadium tour in the US. They might have been part of the reason Pantera got to be so huge, as they put them in front of packed stadiums full of mainstream fans. Yes, I saw Baz's leather pants. What a babe. You should watch and react to Skid Row and Pantera singing Cold Gin together when they were on tour, since you and I are such fans of Phil and Baz. You could also watch Skid Row on Saturday Night Live singing Monkey Business and Piece of Me, both excellent live performances.
You are correct Vicky about pantera they went everywhere skid row went they came out before them at Wembley which was incredible but these songs are gonna be around for decades to come after us old guys are gone but all the songs they gave us are incredible while on stage these guys were great together even right up to the end bands like that don't come along but maybe once in your life and that's if you're lucky so everybody lets enjoy them while we can

Skid Row and QueensRyche were way underrated back in the day. I’m glad to see so many people listening to them again. You have to listen to some QueensRyche, one more time around. Anybody listening song titles. You’ll be amazed as well. Any of it actually
Rachel Bolan(Skid Row bass guitarist) Interview on May 24, 2011. The question asked was ; "Is Quicksand Jesus about religious tension or bouts with faith?" Bolan answered: "You pretty much hit the nail on the head. I grew up in a Catholic family and so did Snake(Dave Sabo: guitarist). You know that good old fashioned Catholic guilt. It’s just about keeping your beliefs during good times and bad times. It’s so easy to not be spiritual when things are going really good and then when they go bad you start relying on whatever god you pray to to get you out of it. It’s kind of saying that whatever it is you believe in, you should probably put in 100% all the time. We started writing it and war broke out in the middle east. The lyrics just started pouring out but we did not have a title for it. Snake and I used to do a lot of dirt bike riding and we knew we wanted “Jesus” in the title but we could never really settle on anything. There was a busted Jesus in Snakes mom’s flower garden. The garden was there right before we took off to go riding on the trail and every time it rained the Jesus sank. We called it “Quicksand Jesus” and what we would do is touch it for luck and then we would take off. If someone would wreck we’d say, “You forgot to touch Quicksand Jesus didn’t you?” One day, we just looked at each other and said, “That’s it! That’s the song title!” That song was a labor of love. Snake and I never had such a tug of war on certain parts and elements of songs as much as we did with that one. That one took us a long time to write. It’s cool that’s your favorite song because that’s my favorite Skid Row song that we ever did. I’m proud of it and I’m so glad we still do that one."
Those of us who watch feel the same. Sometimes the songs make us smile and other times laugh and other times cry. We love that music can do that to us. Music is an old friend of the ears and the heart and the soul. We love it when music comes by for a visit, and reminds us of things, people and events we’ve long forgotten. Andrea Burgi Very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Losing people that we love is among some of the hardest experiences of this life. I’m guessing she was a lot like you are as a person. Be well.
@IYOU You are the youngest girl who managed to explain in a few words this nostalgic feeling, of seeing something from an incredible musical and youthful past, especially in terms of artistic experiences, with the desire to have lived it. It really is very clear how much you admire this era and how many incredible things were produced during it.
You are the first person talk about the great scotti hill and the great lead guitars based on jimi hendrix style, he and bach was the soul of this band
You are correct in saying this is not NEW. It's from their second album, "Slave to the Grind" which is the same album as "Wasted Time", "In a Darkened Room", etc, etc...released June 11, 1991 - FYI. Still one of my top favorite albums of all time, actually!
This is one of 2 of my favorite songs on the album. One,being "Monkey Business". And "Quicksand Jesus",being the other. I loved your background singing! You definitely had a different take on it,and it fit well within the song. I liked how you noticed Sebastian's leather pants and shirtless look. You were captivated by him and his voice. The guitar work on that song is one of the best and very emotional. You can feel it speaking, almost. Another lovely take on the song. Thanks again for doing this!
I was born in 1971, so yes the rock and metal from the 80's and early 90's are my memories. Great times, at 13 I could order a beer in a bar, no one would asked you for an ID card :) You mentioned a few bands from that area, but no Van Halen? I believe those were very big in the USA at that time.
Van Halen of of the major bands for sure, I’m honestly know not that many songs from them, that’s why can’t put them in my personal top 5. I rather add Scorpions just because it was a band which introduced me into rock music and also well, I love them love love love Scorpions)
@Keith Johnson I'm Dutch and during the 80's it was 'normal' here, the same for cigarettes. If you buyed them at the age of 9 or 10, people thought that you were buying them for your parents (which was common these days). I skipped school whenever I liked, without visiting the head of the school, all stuff that kids nowadays can forget :)
@@IYOU oh I wouldn't hold it against you :) There is plenty of time to (re)discover bands, it is a never ending journey and a great one. I'm not complaining, I'd rather see a 'youngster' dive in this kind of music than a review of the latest single of some kind of pop diva. Not that there is something wrong with it, but it is not that interesting for me personally to watch. I hope I don't offend you with calling you 'youngster' but I have a daughter who is almost your age hahaha. Your choice for The Scorpions is good one, Klaus Meine is a great vocalist.
@Keith Johnson over here it is the same situation, and yes from the same political wing. We have elections in march next year, but expect that it wouldn't change a lot. Our mainstream media is infected with people from the same corner, Slowly but surely people are starting to lose more freedom. I know that things can't be turned around, but I'm only hoping that it ain't getting worser.
Dave Sabo and Rachel Bolan wrote this song about the Gulf War. It’s called Quicksand Jesus because the war took place in the dessert. Sabo said in an interview that it was the most difficult song he wrote. You should react to Monkey Business by Skid Row. It’s a great rock song. You should also react to Guns N Roses. Welcome to the Jungle would be a good place to start.
Thank you! I think reaction to Guns n Roses suppose to be unique, but I well know this band and all songs which were suggested so far - I know them. ☮️
Skid Row had Pantera as opening act on tour concert in Fayetville,NC(Cumberland Couny Civic Arena) in '91.Also had Soundgarden as openers before that.Maybe do Soundgarden review off Badmotorfinger album-Rusty Cage or Slaves and Bulldozers?Just a suggestion.🤘
Some of the greatest rock guitarists came from the 80's. Thanks Eddie for resetting the approach. C'mon haters , you know it is true. Skid Row was a great band. Not Hairmetal either , just great rockers with a great sound.
Without a doubt Sebastian is one of the best voices of metal and this song is proof of that. Changing the subject, I recommend a poison theme called something to believe in also a group of 80's hope it is to your liking...... Best regards
I can't believe you stopped the song to talk about a t-shirt!!! No it's not 35 or 4o years ago....the album "Slave to the Grind" was released on June 11, 1991. "Quicksand jesus" was released in 1992... However it is awesome to see the younger audience appreciating the music of that time...🤟😎 Just read the lyrics and listen to the song without being dazzled by the visuals and you will understand the music ...🤔
My beautiful Russian friend.. I don't think you ever reacted to guns n roses.. November rain. Estranged. And don't cry.. are a trilogy of a story. I can't remember the order of the songs.. I think don't cry. November rain. And estranged.. is the order .. there so many classics from gnr. Tesla what you give. Red hot chili peppers. LA Guns., Warrant, Scorpions, motley Crue, .. there are so many great bands from the 80s dear..
I would love to do video to G&R, but I know all this songs, it used to be one of my favorite bands, and also I love Slash’s solo creations. .. the same situation with Scorpions/ I think I know every single song from them) Motley Crue or warrant maybe - don’t know them. Maybe you could tell me exactly a song? Thank you 🪐

Firehouse love of a lifetime is an awesome ballad... so many good music. Have you heard red hot chili peppers.. great band
"Estranged" and " " its so easy 'by GNR are awesome to react and not overheard, "wild side " by Motley Crue another great crazy song to react, and i would like ' when the smoke is going down " by Scorpions
Hey cutiepie...this came out in 1991 from the "Slave to the Grind" CD...Skid Row came out in 1989 with their self titled CD..which did sell pretty well for them..thats got "18& Life" ."Youth Gone Wild" pn that CD

Your shoulders are perfect YOU don't need shoulder pads! YOU Rock! 💥
God damn you and your voice are so be
beautiful
Without a doubt Sebastian is one of the best voices of metal and this song is proof of that. Changing the subject, I recommend a poison theme called something to believe in also a group of 80's hope it is to your liking...... Best regards
How about vocal reaction to Dangerous Toys? Boys in the 80s and early 90s had beautiful voices.
You sound like a pretty good singer yourself like your reactions keep it up
I can't believe you stopped the song to talk about a t-shirt!!!
No it's not 35 or 4o years ago....the album "Slave to the Grind" was
released on June 11, 1991. "Quicksand jesus" was released in 1992...
However it is awesome to see the younger audience appreciating the music of that time...🤟😎
Just read the lyrics and listen to the song without being dazzled by the visuals and you will understand the music ...🤔
Eargasm is the word you were looking for 🤣🤣
wow i like you mam for reaction this song i love this song love you too
Do "I Remember You" next from Skid Row.

Thank you 🪐

У Себастьяна Баха невероятный голос, а то, как он ведёт себя на сцене...Настоящий рок-н-рольщик, хехе :)
And this is a song you will never forget pretty baby
It’s great to see you react to the music i have watched unfold over the years. You should react to some ZZ Top...Legs
Skid Row - Wasted Time ^ ^
my favorite song
We had the best fashion and music in the late 80s and early 90s. I still have hair as long as Sabastions and I'm 59. Still catnip to the ladies too. 😂😂🤟🤟
Bach wasn't born.. he was engineered in a rock front man factory that blew up after creating him.
Skid Row - Monkey Business
It was released in 1991
Okay I love ❤️ you lol, your gorgeous, the perfect Rock n Roll girl, that was my era, I have ticket to see Sebastian Bach in Bristol, Tennessee June 25, 2021, Love ❤️ Jesus✝️
The t-shirt thing is typical. It had sleeves at one point, and then got scissored off. Half my gym tshirts started as concert tees.
please try 🙏 💘
Bon Jovi - Never Say Goodbye
Bon Jovi - Living In Sin
Bon Jovi - This Ain't A Love Song
Bon Jovi - I'll Be There For You

Testament (Return to serenity) You're lovely
Time to take a trip to Kingdom Come-Get It On
Skid Row is the reason I wish I had straight hair and probably why God made it curly.
35 40 YRS AGO ITS WAS 1992 WHICH WAS 29 YRS WHEN I WENT TO SCHOOL
