I love seeing peoples reaction when they hear Sebastian's voice for the first time. I was lucky enough to see these guys in concert twice and still to this very day no one rivals his voice.
Skid Row is one of my favorite bands of all time because of this reason. Amazing powerful songwriting with powerful pipes in Sebastian Bach. Another song that has a long emotional singing line from Skid Row is "In A Darkened Room" and of course "I Remember You" which you guys heard already. Love how this song builds up from just the guitar to that powerful ending in the end.
It's awesome to watch you guys enjoy this music for the first time. It's also very strange and makes me feel old. I saw Skid Row a few times in concert 30 years ago, and my good friend and I used to spend countless hours listening to their music.. just like you guys are now. It feels like yesterday to me.. Time flies.. enjoy! :)
Dude, these guys were a hard drinking, hard partying band. They kicked a lot of butt, literally, and went to jail for fighting, drugs, being intoxicated, etc. They partied with the Crue, with Aerosmith, with Guns N Roses and Pantera. They are not only about positive messages. They have a lot of songs about the things they enjoyed- drinking, fighting, groupies, drugs, etc. Monkey Business or Piece of Me next!
Saw them open for Bon Jovi and frankly, they blew them off the stage. One of the best live performances I ever saw and I've been to a few hundred rock concerts in my life.
Yup too controversial! 😂 Hip hop was just in the beginnings of becoming mainstream at that time. Man did they dodge a bullet! I still wonder how they’ve avoided the scrutiny considering the words in many of those rhymes are 1000x worse than most of the metal I’ve listened to over the decades. No PMRC breathing down their necks!
This is the first time I have heard this song and I really like it of course I like Skid Row as a group and they always have great music you might try Youth Gone Wild Monkey Business and Slave to the Grind for a few other songs.
I just discovered this channel & you guys are great! Definitely not what I was expecting on first look. I being American anticipated Americans! Sorry we can’t help it! Lol 🤷🏻♀️ I loved your reactions to this. This is the music that I grew up on so it & that time holds a special place in my heart. (Love your accent btw! Irish, Scottish, English???)

100%! Slave to the Grind was very very different than their first album lol
This song is about the struggle of keeping your faith/religious beliefs even during the hard times.

That’s some powerful shite right there! Crying out for the answers to the heavens above. A lot of us have been there, when we’re down on our luck.

Your reaction doesn’t change the fact how Sebastian sings the song.
Now time to react to the greatest metal/ rock band ever...METALLICA....React to their song "ONE" official music video.
Greatest? Metal noob :-)
great band great reation lads if your looking for a new band try Disturbed >>song Prayer.... that another power voice xx
tiny wife great suggestion! I personally think that they would get a better sense of David’s voice from the song Stricken by Disturbed.
