I live in Santa Monica California (LA County) Skid Row is a heartbreaking 💔 place and what makes it worse is a mile down the road are mansions! If you listen to Poison do a song called Give Me Something To Believe In Brett Michaels points out this very fact! I’m encouraged by seeing some celebrities feeding the homeless there! I remember working Thanksgiving and Christmas there shoulder to shoulder with some of the cast of Days of Our Lives! I worked beside Deidre Hall (Dr. Marlena Evans) and her twin sister Andrea Hall (Hattie Adams, Samantha Evans). God Bless the people who make their mark helping people on Skid Row!
It's great when the energy, passion and vibe of the late 80s early 90s hard rock/heavy metal/glam rock music hits her and she gets up and dances. Just her facial expressions at some points of the song, show how the music is affecting her. Such an amazing vocalist and band
Sebastian Bach is in his 50's now and still has that beautiful head of hair.I wish everyone would enjoy music as much as you.You have such joy when you do
When that song came out in '89 , i was 14 . I used to watch it on MTV all day and cover with skid row posters my bedroom walls. I always cry when i listen to it now. Sebastian was,is and will always be a huge crush ...
I'm an old school rock singer & Bas was 1 badass back in the day. He still has more than any crap/hop "singer" from today's "artists". Long live MUSICIANS !!! PLUS THIS GORGEOUS LADY LIKES EM, TOO!!!!
For all I have today, I would still go back and do it again. Back to California, the Whiskey a Gogo, Hollywood, the South Bay...my times were charmed. I never thought too much about all the concerts I went to...the US Festival too. Then I moved to Colorado in 1990 at 25 and got Red Rocks and the great Barry Fey ( Fey Production's ). Still have a picture in the phone here of Snake Sabo signing my wife's hoodie. She about shit when I came out of the bathroom with him ( my luck ).
Yes, I do love this song too (still). I was born in 1971 so this song from their debut album came out in January 1989, the year I graduated from high school! Such a wonderful decade, the 80s - and Sebastian with his beautiful long hairs was the envy of many people, myself included.
Back in this time, all the girls loved this iconic singer. They would cry and weep over this man's singing. Wishing the boys around them were as beautiful as this creature. I learned real quick that even though I was more of a Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax guy....i must embrace this band if I wanted women to be attracted to me. And it worked for sure. These songs by Skid Row are Pure Memory of romance for me as a teenager and young man. I appreciate this band more now then ever.
For someone who English isn’t their first language you articulate exactly how this music makes me feel and you aren’t from my generation either but you get it girl. Great reaction.
I used to work at a pizza place and Skid Row was on regular rotation in our CD player back in the kitchen, despite it being the late '90s. We'd always try to belt out that super long note at the end of this song. I was fired from the pizza place.
That was so awesome seeing the music take you over like that! Sometimes you've just gotta dance! Great reaction! '18 and Life' is a great one by Skid Row.
80s power ballads reeked of AWESOMENESS!! Who doesn’t remember making out or thinking about someone who broke their heart while listening to one of these power ballads! Long Live Pink Aqua Net, Sleeveless Jean Jackets w/ your favorite bands patch, jeans with natural holes(not store bought), and Converse Chuck Taylors 🤘✊
I remember it like yesterday, cruising down the highway with the windows down in the summer time not a care in the world living in the moment listening to this song.
Loved watching this, might I suggest you give “Cinderella - Nobody’s Fool & Don’t know what you got til it’s gone” I’d love to see your reactions to these 80’s hair band ballots!!
@@IYOU Hi yeah, it popped up on my feed like right after I sent this comment lol I was like o wow lol she already made a video on it. And to top it off she already done heard this song so it wasn't like a reaction video lol but great story behind it with you and your hubby. have a great day thanks for the reply! love your vids
Very hard to beat Skid Row when it comes to that genre! The song writing, musicianship, showmanship & of course the vocal expertise of Mr Bach are unmatched! As much as I love the first album (includes one of my top 5 songs of all time - 18 and life) I feel they really hit their peak on Slave to the Grind. The songs are better & production is top notch, just sonically huge! Your reaction is priceless here, like your in a trance lol! Always great video reactions, great content & very personable; all of which make your channel nothing short of amazing! Thank you a Yulia! 🪐🪐🪐
For 2 albums…… nothing worth talking about after the Slave album. I love Skid Row. First album is nearly perfect. Not a bad song on it. (like PJ Ten) But it came too late. By the 3rd album, hair metal was mostly dead and SR was on its way out too. That’s the reality.
Yes, yes, and definitely a HELL YES!!! I bought the "Monkey Business" single on cassette the day it was released, and I could not WAIT to get to work afterwards and crank it up in the back with my coworkers. Still my favorite Skid Row song and video...
You has one of the most infectious smiles I've ever seen... and it sounds like you have a good voice too... love the reactions ... would love to see some Guns n Roses
I was born in 1976 and I still remember even at the age of 5 my babysitter putting Ace Frehley make up on me for her kicks....I remember in 1986 at the age of 10 Cinderella's Night Songs...I remember at the age of 13 ..Skid Row's" I remember you" here.....so even being born in the 70's..I was still lucky enough to remember alot of the 80's
You don't need to say anything at all. Your face is glowing the entire time. How much you love this is shining out of your entire being. (you could not help dancing at one point) True Love.
It's nice to see someone of your generation appreciate the music I grew up with. Every time I listen to skidrow with Sebastian Bach (witch is at least 2 or 3 times a week for the past 30 years) i tell myself what a great time it was. Please do 18 and life and Monkey Business!
I remember when this song came out. Beautiful song for sure and it always made me think about girls I liked. Thank you for bringing some happiness to this dreary Monday!
Yes, great reaction! Skid Row and those 80's power ballads always have the ladies reacting like you are. So many great memories from those years. I love 'Forever' by Skid Row but I think you would love 'Hysteria' by Def Leppard. Great band too. 🎸🍁
I totally understand her, I was 10 when this got to the radio, and just his voice was hart stopping, but as soon as I saw him singing I understood what the fuzz about boys was about hahaha!
You talked about how clean their hair is in comparison to other bands. Now I can't unsee it. They are one of my favorite bands and I'm just going to think about this every time I see one of their videos now. lol. And every time I see another band's video too, I'm going to be checking out how their hair compares in cleanliness to Skid Row. Hahaha!
I have to say at first I wasn't a big fan of your reactions, but then I watched more of your videos and there's something really nice and adorable about them. You stand out from other reactors and you clearly have lots of fun with this. It has to be the first time I see anyone both singing and start dancing during a reaction video. lol You obviously love good music and you have a really nice singing voice too. Keep it up and stay healthy.
You see that? 80s long hair and jeans still impress the ladies....with unmatched singing talent. Love seeing that. I'm so grateful I grew up with all this great music. The kids today don't really understand how bad their music is compared to this ...we were lucky
Agree, but not all long hairs looks like Sebastian’s) he was such a doll, it made him perfectly attractive for teen girl, but I believe older girls would love more brutal look, btw, I myself always had a long hairs boyfriend’s and my husband also long hairs guy. And yes. It’s about this spirit of time, from the past, which was 1000 times more artsy and creative. What happened with music these days even not deserve to compete
The Nuge had nice hair in his day. Actually, I had great hair in my youth also. I can't comment on Sebastian's lips. Only that he and Ari have nasal qualities about their style that they consider their signature tones.
Other great 80s ballads: KIX "Don't Close Your Eyes", FIREHOUSE "Love of a Lifetime, WARRANT "I Saw Red", CINDERELLA "Don't Know What You Got (till it's gone)", DOKKEN "Walk Away"
good lyrics, good voice, reaching that tone of voice is very difficult, and seeing how you react to that song with that naturalness is impressive, that song is really beautiful but your reaction is very natural and beautiful I liked your reaction you really love that song
I’m a manly man and I dance the same way you did to skid row. I mean you look so much better doing it but this music makes me feel alive. Love your video sweetie🤘🏻
First album every song rocked, start to finish. Wasted Time Is the greatest Skid Row song off the Slave album. His best lyrics in that song: “The sun will rise again The earth will turn to sand Creation's colors seem to fade to grey And you'll see the sickly hands of time Will write your final rhyme And end a memory” Emotional voice in this one. About a roadie friend of his Who ODd on heroin. (“The Horse stampedes and rages”) The guy is in the video for the song. Darkened Room is a horribly underrated song too.
Hi my beautiful friend.. it's been awhile I've been here.. skid row rocks.. and guess what .. it's my bday.. so far its been a awful day.. lost a good friend to covid.. and hearing this song makes me happy.. react to some chili peppers.. you're one awesome woman and your husband is blessed to have a wonderful wife.. keep it up.. you're one awesome person.. and thanks again for reacting to skid row
Sebastian Bach’s voice is awesome! A great singer! My daughter said: Daddy why is his lower lip quivering? I said honey that’s called: Vibrato and all the great singers have it!
The 80's were a blast. Bands like Skid Row, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses played a big role throughout my teenage years. Not many vocalists then or now come close to the raw power and range of Sebastian Bach.
It would be a loss of purity to try to put words to express how much your happiness to this amazing music (back in the day) Glamour bands was the craze back then; long hair, straining vocal chords and screaming guitar rifs. The 60's and 70's music could have never predicted what was going to happen in the 80's. Just want to say though, it is such a joy to see someone in this present day take such an appreciation to what most thought was just normal at the time, today it is harder to be at that level of greatness if you are not born with it, which may or may not have been as true back then, because music like that was new, we didn't know how good we had it until after the turn of the century when "like you say" it was becoming more about business.
That made my day when you got up and started dancing about the room. I could watch that all day. It just shows how much you enjoyed the music as I did when it came out.

I was 13. I was teaching myself guitar at the time... Anyway, I wanted to BE Sabastian Bach. The epidemy of rock stars.🤘
I grew up in the 80's and its music it was the best time i wish i could go back.
Courtney Clark.. Exactly.. i really missed the 80's. Now i'm 52
I miss the 80's so much!!!!!!!!

I’m going back with you. I’m tired of this time line.

Yep...you can say THAT again! Wow!

As a teenager I could never be jealous of the Bach posters on my GF's wall. The dude was undeniably beautiful
Sebastian still stealing hearts! Lol...awesome seeing the young generation enjoying this great genre!
For someone who English isn’t their first language you articulate exactly how this music makes me feel and you aren’t from my generation either but you get it girl. Great reaction.
Nice harmonizing toward the end. 👍🏻
You’re so entertaining. And Sebastian - no fillers lol. He was simply genetically perfect. Nobody ever tossed hair or slid across a stage like him.
Love your reaction! This song is probably my favorite power ballad of all time. So perfect!
Even after all this time this song is still my all time favorite song.
I used to work at a pizza place and Skid Row was on regular rotation in our CD player back in the kitchen, despite it being the late '90s. We'd always try to belt out that super long note at the end of this song. I was fired from the pizza place.
Def Leppard . Hysteria for 80 s ballads
Photograph really shows Joe Elliot‘s voice range 💯
there isn't a pop song produced in the last 15 years that is as good as this...
The 80's was the best era in music hands down. 80's metal is the best! Keep exploring! Your very beautiful by the way!
That was so awesome seeing the music take you over like that! Sometimes you've just gotta dance! Great reaction! '18 and Life' is a great one by Skid Row.

Other great Sebastian era Skid Row tunes: "18 And Life", "Youth Gone Wild" and "Monkey Business".
Monkey business fuck yeah not a valid
Ballad
Yes, yes, and definitely a HELL YES!!! I bought the "Monkey Business" single on cassette the day it was released, and I could not WAIT to get to work afterwards and crank it up in the back with my coworkers. Still my favorite Skid Row song and video...

Love the enjoyment you get from these song's & your reactions are so genuine & real & you can see it comes from your ❤❤❤
I was a teen during this time and I don’t care if people make fun of it. I love it!

That was so much fun!!! Thank you!!!!
Love your reaction on this one. From the dancing, to the hair flips! Love it!

This song was the #1 prom song into the 2000s
Sebastian Bach was 19 years old when he recorded the debut Skid Row album, which this song is on.
I believe he was 21. Sebastian Bach was born in 1968 and the album came out in 1989.
Sebastian's hair rocks but your hair is 💥💥!
Boom Boom!
Sebastian bach is the voice of rock and roll

Yup, saw Skid Row and Slaughter together, freakin awesome concert. Both great singers live.
I think you might like the song "Home Sweet Home " by Motley Crue
