If you didn't know, for the first few years Superman didn't fly in the comics. He jumped really well (tall buildings in a single bound and all that) they made him fly because it was easier for the animated films and then he flew in the comics ever since, so this scene sort of reflects that.

Ameen Ahmed no he held his beer in mid air and before it fell he came around circling the earth and caught it just in time
Barry Allen didn't even have his powers at that point. Superman was literaly the fastest man on Earth.
LKVideos well, what is one of the things Barry Allen is most well known for? Time travel. 😁
mad_titan THANOS I doubt the beer bottle moved when he let go of it
Jerod Brown And messing time up
Basically how James Gunn’s Superman is gonna look.
@Digital World not at all
So much excited to see Brandon Routh as Kingdom Come in the crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths! The crossover is going to be big!!
The optimistic tone and Brandon Routh's nice guy energy make this my favorite modern Superman. It perfectly captured who I've always understood Superman to be.
he is the perfect superman
1:56 - homelander reference (that will kill someone when it lands)
It's not a reference from homelander if this was first
Dave Busta well it is a reference in a way since he used the quote and is a reference in a sort as he was the one who used it as a reference in the comment section, not the movie, so u are both right and wrong. Though it seems like homelander was referencing Superman in that scene since he was in a farm when he threw that baseball.
1:10 If I figured I can fly, I would have been like "Yoooo!!!"
Damn the soundtrack is awesome
One of my absolute favorite scenes
This movie was just PERFECTION. So sorry Routh and CO. were not given a sequel opportunity. VERY much so. Could never bring myself to see MoS... or is sequel. The imagery alone was enough of a turn - off. It lacked heart, soul, warmth... terribly so. SRs - vastly better.
Thank you again to ALL who helped create it! Bravo!

Dog: i hate you human!!
But he’s a kryptonian
Sudhir Kumar yeah, but the dog doesn't know that
Richard Gillard - Clone X or does he
*Hooman
This was the best Superman in terms of Looks.
Dog: "Wtf dude... i don't even know where it went!"
"And in other news, a baseball made escape velocity and broke the moon in half"
Brandon routh fué uno de los mejores Superman
When I first saw him in arrow, i had no idea he was the same man who played superman and it still surprises till today to know that he played superman.
The end is phenomenal
I laughed a lot at the dog here sense of smell, up to a point 😂😂😂😂
He totally trolled his doggo LMFAO
very good movie underrated and overlooked, i relly enjoy it
you can't hate this superman, because this movie is basically a tribute to Reeve
I didn’t actually know that I do now though
