I love how it goes back and forth with his young and old self, trying to understand the world around him through the help of his mom and dad and boy that mother and child whale moment was incredible
I've always felt they should have upped the pacing on the helo pad a little. Current cut makes it feel that they could have gotten away from the falling steel if they weren't waiting to load Clark.
Gun isn't interested in solo movies, he's going to try to make a buddy-movie for kids again. Solo movies in general collect less money with equal quality to other movies. With few exceptions.
The coolest thing about that tackle scene? Supes used his telepathic powers to control the screenwriters into making it look like he could be pushed. That's how dedicated he was to looking like a normal human.
Best thing about this Superman is he started out as a grizzled blue blood working man finding his way…and not the soft wimp who went to straight to a newspaper…😂
Though the vision and strength no human could ever obtain, It's almost a reenactment of what an empath goes through. Good people outnumber the bad and I think that's why everybody likes this movie
I’ve watched this clip numerous times and have loved it. Note : when he jumps to slow the beam from collapsing, his toes should have made impression marks on the I beam he was standing on. And, the place he grips the door before pulling it off it’s hinges, should’ve looked different. I realize it’s a small detail. Just saying. As a child, him grabbing any door knob, he would’ve had to grasp it with the greatest of care, as he had the strength to easily tear it completely out of the door. Him hugging his mom - he could crush her without even a thought.
Never realized that Clark had to brace and subsequently let that man tackle him out of the way so as to not blow his cover in the beginning. You can even see him do it, Phenomenal acting
I am sure the dudes thought "we are dead and this must be hell" when they saw the door ripped by a man on fire. And when he jumped to stop the tower from falling, that was him jumping into the tornado to save his dad, finally he was ready! He was not going to let another die while he watched! Iconic scenes.
The guy who saves him on the ships deck….thats a life saving catch if it’s not Superman. Those traps could crush a man’s body with no question. Good catch by showing Clark’s reaction to him being “saved” by a human
0:26 the guy to knock over superman is secretly strong.. i just came from another video that superman in bar fight.. where one guy use all his might but cant push or move superman..
The first 2 acts of this film are brilliant. It all goes to pot in the final act. That said, Cavill just is and always will be the only choice for Superman IMO.
Everyone involved knows who Clark is but no one will talk because Kal'el has earned their trust. That's how you do a secret superhero identity in the modern age. He shields them with his strength and they shield him with silence.
Rule of thumb.... The casually on-fire dude who rips through steel blast doors barehanded gets to be in charge.

"What's wrong with me, mom?".
You're Superman.
Everybody's just memeing in the comments while i just teared up a bit after seeing this beautiful directed clip from this film. I love how it goes back and forth with his young and old self, trying to understand the world around him through the help of his mom and dad and boy that mother and child whale moment was incredible
THIS is Superman 🫡
Funny thing is clark had to ALLOW himself to get tackled like that.
Ya l know what ypu mean.. l love this movie
He smirks afterwards as well. Proud of humanity.
Dude rips of steel door, walks in with a beard looking like a God
This is the best Superman movie
I've always felt they should have upped the pacing on the helo pad a little. Current cut makes it feel that they could have gotten away from the falling steel if they weren't waiting to load Clark.
Greatest Superman movie
Best superhero film so far.
"Whoa, well done! You saved everyone!"
"Yeah... So like...."
"I know I know. We can't afford you."
Best Superman Movie
When he holds the TOWER THAT'S THE FIRST TIME FOR HIM!- his power level INCREASED
The music right when Clark holds the oil rig up gives goosebumps 😮
Such a masterpiece. So sad to see Zack go. He should have kept going with the next Superman movie
The Best Superman Movie till date ! Don’t think Gun can match this One !
Great movie …the best Superman movie.
Such a beautifully made movie.
One of the best dc movie... the sound visual effects are unmatched to any marvel movie
I really love this version of super man.
Oh, another reminder how great that movie was. Also soundtrack is absolutely amazing and fits perfectly.
This is completely irrelevant but I just ate the most amazing orange ever 😋😋
Me too!! 😋
Aka, contemplating one's naval. ;)
@@stevetennispro I like contemplating navals... ❤️ Just as long as they are amazing😍😍
Mmmm! Orange
😂😂😂
Never realized that Clark had to brace and subsequently let that man tackle him out of the way so as to not blow his cover in the beginning. You can even see him do it, Phenomenal acting
One of the best super hero movie no super man character can replace henry the man of steel
He really was a great Superman !
I love this movie. And the trailer was truly phenomenal, with Zimmer music so spot on...
The best SuperMan we ever got.
The guy who saves him on the ships deck….thats a life saving catch if it’s not Superman.
Those traps could crush a man’s body with no question. Good catch by showing Clark’s reaction to him being “saved” by a human
This move is awesome.
One of the best DC movies I always watch this and Batman Begins over and over
I love Superman and Cavill was amazing.
Notice how when he realized he had x-ray vision, he went straight for the teacher's chest like any curious young boy would do. @3:12
My favorite Superman movie
There is nothing compared to a loving mother, some of us were lucky, some of us were not.
This was one hell of a movie. And the soundtrack was perfect
2:12 To watch superman struggle is something else.
3:33 bro have wall hack😂
But the report of other player's didn't get effect 😂
Phenomenal movie. I LOVE the soundtrack. Its one of the few movie soundtracks I actually remember these days.
Best actor for superman
A gem in the cinema history ❤
Cavill is the best Actor for the superman movie
0:26 the guy to knock over superman is secretly strong..
i just came from another video that superman in bar fight.. where one guy use all his might but cant push or move superman..
Forgot it was a clip. Was about to tuck in 😁
This movie showed the intensity of Superman power like never before 🔥
The first 2 acts of this film are brilliant. It all goes to pot in the final act. That said, Cavill just is and always will be the only choice for Superman IMO.
Zack Snyder is so good at world building. His movies aren't 10/10's by any means but he really knows how to make a good first act
The world is too big....
As a HSP, that hit me.
Superman with limitations is always more interesting than the "Oh he can just be stronger"
Everyone involved knows who Clark is but no one will talk because Kal'el has earned their trust. That's how you do a secret superhero identity in the modern age. He shields them with his strength and they shield him with silence.
They should've done à spin off/continuation series with those Smallville characters, showing the Aftermath of the School bus incident
Bad Ass! Now thats is Superman!
