In this video, I'm replacing the headlight bulb. The same bulb is for the daytime running light (DRL), headlight, and high beam. The bulb has two filaments--one filament for the regular headlight, and another filament for the DRL & high beam. - Авто та транспорт

Worked slick! Exactly as shown in video! Took less than 5 minutes for passenger side bulb that has more working space than driver's side. I am 67 year old female. Replaced other bulbs in my Honda so not a novice but this video made it almost error proof.

Thank you so much for this video, I’ve got the same issues deux months ago but I don’t want to see the mechanics because anytime I go they charge me a lot, I thought they would ask me to change the whole thing, now with your video I can go even tomorrow to fix it
Excellent video instructions!!! I didn't realize one bulb did daytime running lights and high and low beams--good to know. I did see that my Honda manual said that you could unclip the fuse box that is close to the driver's side bulb. It had three clips on my 2009 CR-V--they are near the bottom. One clip in the front and two in the back. The clips pry away from the fuse box -- I needed a flat headed screw driver for the back clips. This gives you a bit more room (not much). Best to do the passenger side bulb first so you get a better feel for things and can actually see what you are doing. Driver's side is a "by feel" operation.

Very helpful I changed the lightbulb in 5 minutes in my moms CRV. I am a female with very little experience with car work. Only other car related thing I have done was change a brown fuse in a BMW. Very good detailed video. Easy to follow. Thank you!

They seem the same to me as the originals, which is good. These headlights are huge and mighty bright as it is.

Do you know hot to open it since I broke the clips and the new one is good can I re place the black part or no
I’m not sure whether you can simply replace the broken clips. Check with your local Honda parts dept.
How do you get your lights so bright I just change mines & they are dim
@sanpoktoi: I'm not sure what to suggest here. Perhaps your battery and/or alternator are on the way out and are not supplying enough current to the headlights? Or perhaps the lenses/covers for the headlights are dirty or fogged up on the inside and impeding the transmission of light from the headlight bulbs?
Is there a led version ?
@David: There are aftermarket LED conversion kits out there but I don’t think anything OEM from Honda. FWIW the bulbs I got from Honda last many years and are plenty bright.
Is DRL same as low beam or high beam?
@leo ladani: I think DRL uses the low beam at lower brightness. [edit: this is incorrect - see below]

My 2010 crv is doing the same thing right now. Started chasing wires,fuse's,relay's, freaking out but #4 under hood, is good, in cab #12 13 16 17 18 21 & 36 are good...
The original pattern in which the lights are out....can be reversed, when the Bulbs are switched For example, my driver DRL Is illuminated until the brights are activated, then the driver DRL turns off then So multaneously, the passenger bright Turns on.. If you switch the lights passenger to driver, it should do the same thing but The other side. Then you know. it's Just bulbs...😂😂😂

@That1PaintballGuy: Yikes! In the end, did you replace the bulb and it worked? It does seem counterintuitive that a single bulb would have two separate filaments….
