Great video Nafisa! Some extra advice for ma sisters: - Never force yourself to see the good in a man. Your intuition is usually right. - The way you meet your husband says a lot about him (and about you). Meeting him on a night out, on the streets, in the club is NOT a good start. - For the sister that reached an age you think its ‘too old’ to still be unmarried: don’t marry a man with flaws you cant handle because you’re afraid to end up alone. Its deen over dunya, so live a life with Allahs satisfaction alone is better than being married to a guy that has a bad influence on you.
Really important quote I came across, ‘do your unborn child a favour and choose your spouse wisely.’ It’s not like a job where you can quit when it comes to marrying a husband, you gotta be realistic and think long term. It's hard to identify a lot in a person unless you really know them - but if you choose someone with the same faith as you, at least you know you're sharing some fundamental values. I'm not married yet, but it feels like there's only so much you can know (that should be enough to give you an idea of the person) then you get married - and figure out the rest. A person's habits is sort of an indicator of their general behaviour right?

Greetings, sister. I come from a Muslim family. I am no longer in my 20's and have people left and right insisting me and my identical twin sister hurry up and get married. Most of these family members just want a party to attend, some just are in a hurry to see grandchildren be born within our large family circle. I am a practicing Muslim women, who has very modern point of view 3. I am very independent due to growing up with a restricted lifestyle and brothers+father 4. Being single doesn't make me feel sad, rather, I am content Alhamdulillah If anyone disagrees or feels different, I am sorry, but this is my life and Allah knows my heart better than anyone else. Asalamu Alaikom from a brother to a sister. Excellent video that is a product of knowledge, deep reflection and remembrance of Allah. As we are brothers and sisters in Islam, I feel compelled to give the sisters some tips on what to look for, by no means is it a perfect list. 1) Don't go for a man who swears a lot 2) a man that is obsessed with Hip Hop and rap 3) a man who argues in religion when there is a difference of opinion and who will not go to a sheikh so he uses Islam as a whip 4) a man who does not have any teachers of Islam 5) a man who cuts off his family, etc. We are not perfect but, but the more you check off this list the safer it will be for you.
In a nutshell “no riffraff...or waste man” love it!! I had 14 years of mr obsessive!! And he actually did have the personality disorder narcissism he made my life help my mental health is still something I’m working on. The way you’re strong about the “no nonsense rule is crucial” I find it hard to meet anyone because of my past....

Let's all thank Allah for giving us people in life, especially Prophet Muhammad (SAW), to guide us. I was scared of marrage, but watching videos like these made me more, mature and educated? I'm only a kid, I'm not going to lie, but I really need this education. I know other kids, teens, adults who are going to marry in the future or going to get married soon need this education atleast to know all this once in a life time. I thought my friends lying about the thing after marriage. But I wanted to watch something about weddings, after marriage and family. I'm honestly still scared. But thank you for this, Sister Nafisa! I honestly am grateful to Allah for giving us humans, people like you and Prophets, may peace be upon them all. Jazakallah once again sister. 😊💖

I was with some guy mr.obsessed + mr. Pressure. We were engaged. But finally i got rid of him. Now im having a good life alhamdulillah.
Lol, alhamdulillah.
So so so trueeee. Also narcissism and mysogyny is a massive problem. Mabrook on ' the channel allahumma barik laha x

In a nutshell “no riffraff...or waste man” love it!! I had 14 years of mr obsessive!! And he actually did have the personality disorder narcissism he made my life help my mental health is still something I’m working on.
The way you’re strong about the “no nonsense rule is crucial”
I find it hard to meet anyone because of my past....
Mia Vita Subhallah, may Allah replace him with someone far far better and reward you for your trial. Stay positive, you can and will overcome this inshallah.
JazakAllah Khair ❤️ This was very beneficial! I pray that Allah provides us all good spouses and puts barakat in all of our marriages and future marriages! Ameen :)
Z ZAINAB Ameen sis
Great video! I’m not Muslim but I definitely took some gems from this video. Thank you 😊
I just found your channel and as a Muslim girl feel highly inspired and happy. I really like watching Muslim women address each other as " sisters" becoz unlike non Muslims , it really brings out the unity among women, especially Muslim women. And I hope we all Muslim women help each other when we see each other becoz even if we are unknown Allah says we are all together if we are Muslim ....!! Great video!!
“He’s forward slash Mr Wasteman but Mr Wasteman is coming later” LMFAOOOO!!! I died!!
lala omar lol, glad someone got the joke, I was beginning to think it was a one man joke there😂
Nafisa's Pearlz never when I’m around sis lol legit made me laugh!

Assalam alaykum sis. Great video mashallah. I'm actually a revert myself and trying my hardest to learn the deen. Alhamdulillah Islam is great. A good wife is also hard to find though as most just want me for my looks etc. May Allah grant us all good wives and husbands ameen. Keep up the good work sis. Allah bless you with jannah.
Wow, you told them the deep truth and it really good that you did, most females struggles to know these things, may Allah reward you for your good advice.
Ameen and you too
'"Become a muslim" marry you and then start acting the fool' well said! MashaAllah
Thanks sis
Pray you get a good spouse and both are Blessed together... Please Pray for me too
Supriti Phani Ameen sister and may Allah grant you the same, ameen.
I love the way you say 'asalamu alaikum '... so vibrant and full of happiness..Masha Allah !
Assalamualaikum sister. Your points are very insightful and sound advise for any person considering marriage. One thing I will add, when someone works really hard on themselves and they follow the religion it is easier to sort out and see who is deserving of their work :)
This improved me as a guy, Thank you!
Watching you for the first time sister and im in love with your video/videos already. May Allah reward you ❣️ new subbie 😘
Miss H Z Ameen, thank you and welcome to the family x

You should start a podcast
anybody who tries to pressure you into doing something you are not comfortable with and don’t want to do is not the kind of person who will be good for you as a person generally in life
alhamdulillah I'm not in one of your categories, I was soooooo nervous, lol.
By the way, excellent dawah video sister Nafisa. It will help improve characteristics of both muslim male and female.
BarakAllahu feeki.
Racer X why are you nervous. Whatever you do is to praise Allah, not to impress sisters or any other person
You're absolutely correct Tyrone.
However, we all have our flaws like sister Nafisa said.
I would have been kind of disappointed if my flaws were among her list because I, too, agree with her list.
Sheikh Uthaymeen (rh) also has a list of women not to marry.
Assalamualaikum :) I agree with each and every point of yours. I absolutely love your content. May Allah swt keep all of us firm in His path. And may we all meet in Jannah :)
Umaima Rahman Ameen, jazakallahu Khairan, thank you for the support, glad your finding it useful. Stay blessed

Thanks u my dear sister, what i suggest before u marriage whether u are a girl or a boy u must look at 3 main things. 1, U must know that whether he is a Muslim or not .
2, U must know the type of Family he comes from.
3, U must look at his attitude and moral behaviour. maa Shaa Allah my sister this are some of the ideas i suggest. may Allah SWT bless you and grant u success in all ur endeavour Ameen .

You should never convert into Islam for someone but for yourself once you have found out that Islam is the truthful religion as well p eaceful

I am getting married in October and I just became Muslim. My fiancé is still Christian. Do you think I should leave him? We’ve been together for over 5 years, he isn’t a practicing Christian and he is an amazing man and he is learning Islam and helping me learn and he is even reading the Quran with me. I pretty sure he’ll let me raise our children in Islam. What’s your advice on this?
He should use this time to learn more about Islam.
JazakAllah khair sister, I love you so much for Allah's sake. May Allah grant you and other Muslim sisters pious spouses and Jannah ameen.
