Salam sis and to everyone.I made istikara a few years ago when I got engaged to someone it was an arrange marriage.However my heart wasn't content with this as ever time someone mentioned the wedding I would cry.So I made istikara and then SubhanAllah I met a random sister at the college I was attending and my fiance was in a different city.Anyway she showed me her wedding album and my fiances auntie was in there!I was shocked that she knew them!Anyway she told me her sister was engaged to my fiance in the past and she didn't go ahead with the wedding as he was taking drugs and was with the wrong crowd! I told my family but unfortunately I was still forced to marry him.However I didn't consummate the marriage and I divorced him a few weeks later as she was right about him.Allah sent her to me as a warning.Sorry for the long message just thought this is worth sharing.Alhamdullilah😘❤

Today you touched my heart, I prayed Istikhara for my career. I did exams and passed it based on what i asked Allah. Then, one month later my professor changed his decision towards my exams results. I was so shocked and stressed. Now, I believe this was Allah's way to show me am not in a right place for my career, because i have been struggle so much with many hates and judgments. i did this regarding to my education studies, i was studying psychology for 3 years with a lot of changes in it that were not in my power, I even changed the country to continue the education, but during this one year i was still praying istikhara, and despite studying a lot and sacrifices I did not get my diploma in psychology. This happened 2 months ago. First I was really depressed and did not know despite wanting it so much why this happened to me , all the difficulties, and I realized there is a reason, it was always with difficulties coming my way despite me giving everything. I did not know what type of career is now best suited for me. People always tell me that I am really creative and technically good inclined, I am thinking of architecture and prayed istikhara, and since 2 months I am reading things about architecture and taking notes, visiting the library to look at the books. Sometimes my dreams are weird, so I look more into what daily interests I lean towards after the istikhara and as I said its more about design in architecture. I try to be optimistic and applied for school in this field and am waiting. I trust in Allah cc.

I have finished everything that is require for my program as well but there a specific test one has to take in order to get in the program. I did my istikhara and I at the same time I tried several times with this test I have studied like crazy but I kept having the same result over and over. Subhanallah it felt like you were talking about me 🙈. May Allah azawajal guide us all through. It’s really tough but there’s hope with Allah on our sides !

I made istakhara about whether to get a new kichen or not. And as i tried to proceed with it i noticed things were just not happeing like he builders wudnt giv me a price or quote me good, and many obstacles which was a big sign from allah to not get the kitchen rn.
Salam, you’re absolutely right sister, but can you please correct me in here, sometimes in fact many times we do have problems or get blockages on our way to get what we want after doing Istikhara, and after many many struggles we get that thing so should we say our Istikhara is negative or positive, based on my example, I really wanted to study and take fashion design courses, before applying i did Istikhara and i got rejected. After that i applied 7 times and all times i got rejected but when i tried for 8th times, i got accepted later on i foundout that those 7 times when i got rejected, the professor who taught that time was very very very strict and racist, but when they brought a new professor who is very nice i got accepted in that course. So how did my Istikhara work here? Was that bad for me but Allah made it good? Or it was good for me but at right time (before the right time it was bad for me)? Please clear my confusion.May Allah bless you
Allah knows best but yes it is possible that perhaps it wasn't best at the time. Allah gave you the willpower to continue so it can be said that it was written that you would achieve it but perhaps it wasn't the best timing. Honestly, no one can explain this except Allah so the lesson to take here is that continue to try but for some things you will have to accept if they don't work out as you had planned.
I was a little bit confused about my feelings that were getting stronger after Istikarah and the happenings. So we have to decide by happenings, but there is also kadr playing a role, you can’t change kadr by praying Istikarah. Correct me if i’m wrong. Do we have to ignore the feeling part and go with the happening or not happening part? Thank you for your time

It is best to say it arabic and you can find trasliterations of the dua online so that would help you to pronounce it if you can't read arabic but I think as a dua it is ok to do it in english. (Mind you this is only for the dua, everything in salah has to be done in arabic insha'Allah)
Salam aleikum. I prayed istikhara because i wanted to and was sure about that i should aply to a ned School after I graduate. Subhanallah I had a good Felding about it, a sister was really helpfull and she send me her asignment for the same Education that I wanted to apply to. Todayi have another Feeling which is different Im not sure at all now about it, is this my answer of the istilhara prayer? That i should not apply to this Education.

Some say that you have to say the Dua during te pray/salat so before the salam and not after te Salam pray/salat.

Assalaam alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakattuh, shukran sister Nafisa,is it permissible to use your language in case u don't know the dua, shukran.
It is best to say it arabic and you can find trasliterations of the dua online so that would help you to pronounce it if you can't read arabic but I think as a dua it is ok to do it in english. (Mind you this is only for the dua, everything in salah has to be done in arabic insha'Allah)
Yes.and you can also do the dua after the prayer.

I prayed istikhara because i wanted to and was sure about that i should aply to a ned School after I graduate. Subhanallah I had a good Felding about it, a sister was really helpfull and she send me her asignment for the same Education that I wanted to apply to. Todayi have another Feeling which is different Im not sure at all now about it, is this my answer of the istilhara prayer? That i should not apply to this Education.

I need to pray istikhara but I have one question. After the 2 rakahs do you recite the istikhara dua and then taslim or taslim then the dua?
what if did istikhara uncorectred and at the end tried to get married, but not matter what i did it did not work/happen?

Salaam sis I hope your well inshaallah. I have two questions about istikhaara. One, I’ve always been confused on when to actually do the dua in prayer. So do we do the dua after was make the salaams or do we make the dua and then do the salaams? I have always been confused on this.
And secondly can we say it in our native language or should we say it in Arabic? Jazakallahu khair for giving us these helpful videos!

I can answer your 1st question:-
1- Recite 2 rakah nafal prayer ( namaz e istakhara )
2- Now after u finish ur 2 rakah nafal ( after salaam ) read dua.
