I love your videos! I like to comment something useful, so, those toothbrushes are old enough that some of them might be celluloid. If you store them with anything metal, the metal will corrode at an alarming rate. This is something an expert told me in regards to buttons as well😊. You know, I get the feeling that you might feel obligated to bring home enough material to make a video. If so, remember, it's just enough to tag along, most of us just enjoy what you do. I'd love to see some videos of exploring possible sites, even if they don't pan out.😊
My wife and I abso-blooming-lutely love watching your UA-cam channels, we especially love your crafting work and now we are chomping at the bit waiting for more more more allotment videos. Please please please can we have some more. Keep up the great work!! Diane and Ian.
Watching you while experiencing the rain and winds from Hurricane Helene. Your adventures are always a welcome distraction to my days but tonight even mote do. Great finds!
I hope you have a black light...I think your tiny light green button might be uranium glass and glow under UV light! Good luck**I love your videos ** thank you ***
A good lark and interesting about the buttons I did'nt know why men did their buttons up different to ladies so Iv'e learnt something today. Just shows you your never too old to learn. Thanks girls.
Excellent, a new video from you, lovely ladies! Here in North Carolina, we are getting ready for the approaching hurricane. I've finished buckling everything down that could get blown around, then came in to find a new video from some awesome larks! I'm happy to see you two and wishing you both well!
That is an interesting and strange history about buttons. Especially if you had too many you could be fined for flaunting your wealth🤣they sure had some strange thoughts back then. Thank you for another fun video🥰
I wonder if those tooth brushes were once reused as cloth weaving needles. A friend found one and from the bone and shape I though of your tooth brushes! I had a thought that metal half cone at the beginning of the video, if that can't be used with other metal shapes, and where the hole is in it, be use to make a type of parlor stove or potbelly stove for your doll house?
Funny in the States we were taught that the buttons for men were different because men used to have butlers that helped them to get dressed. No mention of lady’s maids. 🙂🐈⬛🐈💖🌈
The broken glass lid with the finial would be useful to make a glass fanlight over a dolls house door. I suppose you’d have to remove the finial. It’s amazing where our imagination can take us.
Hello 👋 from New York USA, you guys found some amazing finds my favorite find was the teenie tiny powdered nail polish bottle Thank you for bringing me along with you I can't wait to see where you go and what you find next ☺️
Thanks for sharing your video with us all. You all found a few wonderful things your friend Shirley from new Bern, north Carolina USA ❤❤❤🎉🎉😮🎉🎉😅😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi ladies. Did you know that the Thames is opening up again for mudlarking? I just read an articel in the Guardian saying that people will now be able to go mudlarking again on the Thames but they will cap the amount of people to 4,ooo. You can apply to go on the waiting list ffor a licence from October 2 (today). You probably know all this, but I thought I would share the info just in case.
Enjoyed your "Button" Story so much. Never knew why women's buttons were the opposite of mens. So strange we still follow that "rule" as no one has a ladies maid now except for royals. Thanx as always for such an enjoyable lark with u 2 lovely ladies.
Question: What are you going to do with all those glass bottles you have found? Project? Oh and the key with the letter "K" could be for a car called a Kia.
There are different theories why men and women's buttons are on opposite sides. The one you cited is one theory. One I heard years ago was that in Napoleon's time, men's buttons were put on the right so they could withdraw their swords with their right hand from the left opening.
I knew about the reason buttons were set for men and women. I don't like it. I don't have a maid! Besides... I kind of flunked being female. Not that I wanted to be male, I just didn't want to be either.
Your love and appreciation of all things tiny is delightful to watch
It is not the number of finds that matters it's the adventure. Thank you for letting us tag along 🙂
I simply adore your mum’s jolly laugh.

I didn’t know why or how the left/right position of buttons was developed. Now I know. I almost always learn something new here. 🙂

I love the sherds and love this button, so interesting, the women in the factory were so dressed that by todays standards would be very limiting.
That was interesting about the buttons being on the left, thanks for sharing
The hat pin top might make a nice doll’s marble😊
Thank you both for this great video. Buttons are great to find at antique stores here in the US. 👍❤

Your hexagon might be a template for patchwork - although I'm sure someone's already suggested this!
So that's why! My Dad and I were only wondering the other day why buttons are on different sides. Who knew!
✨️💖✨️

You said in the best way!
I saw ring next to the pottery colors in the ground. Check out, 1:07/22:20
Seems like it!
The mystery gloved person found some nice collectibles. Hmm wonder who it was. How is Oscar?
Son
I love the history lessons after the videos. Shards - I'm sure I spelled that wrong.
Good to hear mum still likes a bone thing 😂
Did you bring home the broken plate with the seal on it?
Question: What are you going to do with all those glass bottles you have found? Project? Oh and the key with the letter "K" could be for a car called a Kia.
Get them? Kates reaction, shore 🥴 😂 entusiasm is not there😂
Hello 👋🏼 xx
Are you guys doing an allotment video been thinking of it. Lovely finds though.
It looked like Fluer picked up a whole glass lid like the broken one Kate had found. Right before the large hem weight. She left it.
There are different theories why men and women's buttons are on opposite sides. The one you cited is one theory. One I heard years ago was that in Napoleon's time, men's buttons were put on the right so they could withdraw their swords with their right hand from the left opening.
I think that was a green top leaf to a broken pear jar
👍👍🌹🌹😘😘
Not short, mybe it was shorter but not short!
I’ve always wanted to know what men’s and women’s clothes buttoned up on different sides. Now I know!
Isn't history great stuff? :)
🤎
I knew about the reason buttons were set for men and women. I don't like it. I don't have a maid! Besides... I kind of flunked being female. Not that I wanted to be male, I just didn't want to be either.
me first! lol
Do you not show everything you picked up, or do you not take a lot of what you find and show us?
❤❤❤
