A Texan, here, and we have lovely Cardinals…but where I am from we lovingly call them “Red Birds”. They’re quite large birds, and I always love seeing them! We also have an occasional Blue Jay. One of my favorites is the Road Runner, which I hardly ever see anymore, but get so excited when I do! Also, a little tip…if you soak your dried-on paint brushes in rubbing alcohol for a few days, they will become as good as new. It dissolves the paint. Well, as long as the dried-on paint is acrylic. I’ve saved quite a few brushes that way. LOVE this episode! ❤️
Yes! We have Cardinals in America, at least in the Northeast where I live. The tuft on top of their head is called a crest. Other crested birds in the US include Blue Jays and Cedar Waxwings. I'm sure there are more. It is said that if a Cardinal pays you a visit, it is the spirit of a passed loved one come to call.
I have been estranged from my mother for nearly 4 years. I spent a lot of my adulthood crafting with her and they were my favourite memories. Watching this gives me comfort
I truly needed this sweet, kind video right now😗💯 Thank you for all that you do to make these videos. You are a breath of fresh air. I am here to breath it all in.😘
Kate, you are so very artistic! Love your bitty doll, cardinal, the globe and your turtle! The perfume bottles are just perfect, Fleur! Can't wait for more creative bead ideas!
I always hit “thumbs up” before even starting your videos because every single one is always so relaxing, charming and joyful! Your video is truly the sweet, shining light for me in what feels like the darkness for so many (myself included) here in the US. Bless you! 💙 Kathleen
I am 53 years old and I am in the USA and I just enjoy your talent and your sense of humor. Your cat is beautiful , thank you for just being here on UA-cam , you're good company ✝️ God bless you and your family 🇺🇸👍🏻😊
I love the little piece made with the dark green round bead. As you were assembling it, I immediately thought, "A lamp! How awesome!" Lol I think it would look lovely with a tiny lamp shade.
I would love to see a Little House on the Prairie scene!! My father-in-law actually lived in Walnut Grove,MN and played for their football team!! The little doll first looked like a Russian nesting doll before you put limbs on her!!❤❤❤
My house is in Spring Valley, MN where we have a museum dedicated to them. The Laura Ingalls Wilder Site museum with lots of artifacts from the time. "Laura Ingalls Wilder Site, on National Historic register, built in 1876. Two floors of exhibits including a Country Store and exhibit on Richard Sears of Sears & Roebuck fame. Washburn-Zittleman House Museum built in 1866. Features beautiful Victorian furnishings." My house was built prior to both of these places! It was built in 1855. Quite possibly the oldest structure still standing in town.
@Robotj992 I am from Austin Minnesota. Not far from you! My in-laws lived in Spring Valley up until my father-in-law's passing. He is buried in the lovely VA cemetery in Preston. Small world!
I was a caregiver for a sweet lady who had advanced dementia. She had a large picture window in her living room, and a cardinal appeared there nearly every single day, no matter the season. I was there for over a year, and he never failed to show up in all that time. I often wondered about the traditional belief and whether it was her mother or her only son, who was killed in a car accident at the age of 18.
A care free world of miniatures in your workshop. The cardinal and matchstick doll are my favorites. Always a pleasure to see what Sunny is doing in between naps.
One of my favourite things to make with beads are potion bottles for a witch or wizard's cupboard. If you make 24th scale houses, they can look really good on a shelf, specially the see through ones. On larger scales, you have to be a bit more selective, though. You could probably make some Christmas tree strings with the seed beads.
The ideas are endless, if you have the beads to trigger a thought of what they look like. The teeny things you made were very cute indeed. I adored the little doll you made. Sunny, your a very social kind of cat. Always happy to come see what you ladies are up to. Mew to you boy. 😊
I’ve just discovered your videos and I want to say that I was already interested as a crafter but I knew I wanted to see all the rest when you two went back and forth with the turtle idea and then giggled at how silly the word can be! Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge, but also your calm, your joy and your gentle friendliness with each other ❤️🩹🐢
Hearing you two talking and laughing makes me miss my mom. I live a few hours away and don’t see her nearly enough. We never get to make stuff together anymore. I’m going to call her tomorrow and we’re going to schedule a crafting date!
Such lovely creations! What I wouldn't do to be able to sit there with you lovely ladies, chatting and creating. 🥰 A wonderful selection of little trinkets, exactly what I love crafting most. Just making what ever comes to mind. Looking at materials and old, thrifted, or found objects and let inspiration strike and lead in the moment. What bliss! I miss that soso much. I do hope my body will let me experience another craft session like this before I pass. I used to craft with my mother like this almost every weekend as a child, we would put on nature sound cds and sit at the dining table for a few hours together. It's incredible that those are the memories that come to mind first when I think of that time when really we were in a horrible situation with my very violent, alcoholic and drug addicted father who was doing everything he could to make my mother's life as miserable as possible. And yet she managed to keep so much of it away from me and make sweet memories like our craft dates for me to look back on instead. I am so thankful and in awe!❤
🎉I have thousands of beautiful beads glass ,precious stones, crystal to plastic. I have designed and sold alot I rarely make more than design exactly the same. I also use to make mini things inc candles, perfume and bubble baths etc it's such fun ☺
🎉a handy tip for you I cut cocktail sticks and thread the beads I want I sand any excess at the bottom I use to hold whilst I'm gluing the beads onto each other. It gives more strength to the peices 😊
They are all amazing! As an avid bird watcher, I ADORE the Cardinal. Sadly we don’t have many where I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado so I’m very happy to see even a teeny, tiny one! ❤
LADIES!!YOU CONTINUE TO BLOW ME AWAY WITH YOUR ARTISTIC SKILLS. I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME WATCHING YOU CREATE ALL THESE PIECES. ANOTHER EXCELLENT VIDEO!! LOVE AND HUGS FROM MASSACHUSETTS IN THE U.S.
You can drip wax or glue in the flower pot to hold them in place and to give the pot weight. I love your crafts you are getting better and better at miniature making all the time! They are all so lovely!
I loved all your bead crafts, my favorite is the little doll. I live in West Virginia in the US and the Cardinal is our State Bird. I've always heard when there is a Cardinal around that it is a love one checking on you. Every time I see one I talk to it because I feel like it is my husband checking on me ❤
That doll! I am head over heels for her. That cardinal! That globe! The tortoise! The brushes & bottles! Daisies! Absolutely love learning from you 2. What kind of glue were you using for these! You are true artists. I aspire to be like you. Also, I have a 30-year-old California desert tortoise who came with the name Stallone. Which part of England are you in?

🙋♀️❤️. It's worry free world when you two are crafting! ⚘️⚘️
My grandmother had two pet cardinals, and she named them Jake and Jenny. They would land outside her windowsill and talk to her every morning.
I have made a lamp out of beads.
I think the lantern would make a great chicken feeder, so bring on those tiny little chickens
I loved them all
Забавно смотреть ,не отойдёжь от экрана
❤❤🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉!Изумительно!,,КАК было сВами УЮТНО!,!,❤❤🎉🎉❤❤
Beaded curtains ? Beaded rugs ? Tiny bead bracelets & necklaces for the dolls ?
Absolutely beautiful tiny things. As you know I always love Sunny supervising. Thank you.
It's incredible that these are all handmade! They are absolutely wonderful. Such creativity!
You should try making tiny humming bird feeders with some to hang outside your doll houses !
I have been estranged from my mother for nearly 4 years. I spent a lot of my adulthood crafting with her and they were my favourite memories. Watching this gives me comfort
That looks EXACTLY like a red cardinal. In such teeny tiny form I find that accuracy astounding
Oh, I love the little bead doll! She is exquisite!

I live in the US and cardinals are believed to be loved ones who passed and have come back as to check on you.
I've never heard that one.

We say that about robins here Tina, “ when robins appear loved ones are near” x 🇬🇧
@@tinacluff2793 there’s a cardinal that shows up and teases my cat through the window.
I hear the 🕊️& the 🦋 not the cardinal 🗽🇺🇲🦅🕊️🫶🐦🏵️🍂

I’ve just discovered your videos and I want to say that I was already interested as a crafter but I knew I wanted to see all the rest when you two went back and forth with the turtle idea and then giggled at how silly the word can be!

I'm enchanted at your talent!
Brilliant! I have a bunch of misc. beads - off to make some miscellanea for my doll's house. Thanx!
I loved the tortoise and everything else but the doll was amazing. The cotton reel was a clever idea but now you need more in different colours.
Cooked eggs in a cup.
