Definitely keep the roundups. It’s so frustrating to watch other channels that don’t do a roundup at the end. For us viewers it’s nice to see the finds cleaned up. Thanks for your enthusiasm, it’s highly contagious 😃
Whether Metal detecting, digging bottle dumps, or walking the river banks exploring, I've always enjoyed cleaning up my finds, then learning the history behind them if possible. That part of your videos, ladies, is just fine!
The round ups are where we learn a thing or two about the finds you lark. I enjoy seeing them cleaned up and explained, with often a bit of history. Like the shard stories. Wow this beach is a place thats hiding so many treasures. Doesn't it make you wonder, what lies beneath. Any day larking there could uncover such wonders. The little roman figure was so unusual. Its arms opend wide. Welcoming its worshipers. How wonderful to find such a thing. Absolutely amazing. 😊x
You should have a donation style auction for things you find that are "extras" to your collections. You can send them to the winners, and keep the winnings minus postage to help fund the projects and online auction purchases for stock for the doll houses. I'm sure many of us would love to help you guys and collect some of the beautiful finds you find for our own collections. I know I'd craft and reuse loads of paste pots and simple plain sauce bottles for my own creations. Cheers! Huge fan from the US!
I think the piece of metal could be to hold a glass shade on a lamp. The doll is beautiful I wonder if it was a fertility symbol as she looks like she has a swollen belly, but what a truely marvelous find of a lifetime. Thank you so much for sharing it with us and it was well worth the wait. I love to see the roundup as once the things are clean they are more interesting when you can see really what they are. Other videos I don't watch as much as yours or Gail and Alex because you do the roundup. Keep them coming please and stay safe.
When I saw the metal piece I thought it was a spur for a horse but it could be the horse bit or the piece that goes over its nose. Could be a lamp part too lol.
Hi, the button is a GPO button of a postman's jacket, the busted switch is what as know as a dolly switch, AKA a domestic house light switch, the brass thing with 2 arms is a shade carrier from a gas lamp, but originally there would have been 3 arms to carry the shade..
I love the roundups as that’s where I get to hear the amazing history behind the items you find. Really looking forward to when you get your official identification on little Roman Girl, that’s a super find.
I love the round ups and Sherd stories... Nothing wrong to learn more about the things you found. Keeping my fingers crossed that little doll is Roman... How exciting 😊
I love watching you two, you bring joy to my heart. Whether mudlarking, crafting or "dolls-housing", you radiate so much happiness. Your pleasure in what you are doing is almost tangible even through the screen! Thank you for being you.
Yes please keep the round-ups. I love seeing the things you find all cleaned up and learning the little bits of history/information that you find about different things. Oh and what an amazing Roman figure 😮❤ Thank you Kate and Fleur for your lovely video ❤😊
Lovely long episode and wonderful historic find. Kate has a sweet beautiful smile. Beware if that is a fertility goddess unless you're planning a mudlark baby.
Your figurine you said looks like a pig, from my view looks like a rabbit sitting up with its head tilted. Thanks for the adventure you take us on and have a blessed day 😊Denise
The little figurine is absolutely incredible, I would be crying finding that! If it’s not roman it still certainly looks far older than the usual Victorian dolls.
Some lovely finds!! I'm reminded of the Russell Crowe movie "Gladiator". (fantastic film!) RC's character, Maximus, was a Roman General who was captured and sold as a slave. He became a Gladiator. Throughout the movie he would pull out figures much the same as your find. They represented his family back home, who he missed dearly. I will look forward to what your FLO tells you!!
Hello from California. I like the round up please keep doing them, and congratulations on your Roman find! Amazing that it's been hiding all this time!
I allways like to see your beautiful little finds. Perhaps you could decorate the little "metall round-thing"' and place it on the table in the dolls house as a Advent wreath. Unfortunately you held the "propeller- thing" in front of the camera so briefly and unsteadily, I would have liked to take a look at it a longer moment - definitely an interesting find. The little Roman lady is extraordinary. I would imagine she was presenting something whith her left hand - like a litle flower arrangement or something else. I'm looking foreward to hear more about it.
I personally enjoy the roundup as well as the main video. Especially fascinating is the selected piece that you give a history of. Congrats on your new finds!
The Roman figure! Oh my heavens, I hope that's what it is, and I'm thinking it is! I have my fingers crossed!!!! The little boys head reminds me of Blue Boy, the painting.
I remember a timebyou were happy w part of bowl of pipe and took ceramic bottles w chips.. u were so excited. Nice to see a video again w that kind of new joy. Great video
If the intriguing little figurine is a Roman votive then it reminds me of the household gods in Gladiator that Maximus buries in the ground of the arena near the end of the movie. Wonderful post - I like the round-ups!
Such beautiful finds, I'd go nuts there lol... and I am so glad that most of them made it home! Anything you're not sure about rather than leaving behind, you can always forward on to me 🤭😯😊 xx Teresa the cheeky lass xx 🇦🇺♥
How utterly extraordinary for that little Roman girl to have lasted so long! Love the long-neck stoneware and the big wriggly metal thing; maybe the frame from a gas lamp shade? That's usually my go-to object when I see a bit of flat wriggly metal LOL 🤣
So glad to see another video from you folk, I was starting to get worried when I hadn't seen anything for a while. The "unsettling" animal looked a little like a baboon sitting on its haunches.🐒
Wow, so many wonderful things to see. Whatever the little figure turns out to be it’s amazing, I love the round ups and your discussion’s. Thank you for a lovely video 💛🧡🤎
so i was very excited when Kate found the little doll. question: are you going to do a video of your collections, or did I miss it already? i would LOVE to see your collections! I live vicariously thru you ladies! 🥰
How exciting! I hope the figure really is Roman. The face certainly doesn't look anything like the Charlotte faces. It is different enough that it certainly seems like it could be Roman. 🤞
I don’t see a link to the video with sherd stories, long round up, etc. 😢 I didn’t watch yesterday because I was saving this video for today (American Thanksgiving). I’ll try checking back later.
What a wonderful day you both had ! Congratulations Kate, I do hope she is Roman, that would be just brilliant 🤩I do love your roundups and just listening to the two of you talk and laugh while describing your treasures, they always make my day ! Thank you for that lovely long video. 🥰🥰 Hugs xx
Such wonderful finds! Yes I would say that is a Roman doll! I love the quartz crystals!, Muriatic Acid can clean the crystals up as well as things with lime scale like sick bottles. I think if I am not mistaken Manchester Mudlarks found a bottom to your oval dish! I love the blue stoneware! I love all your finds! The fancy metal prongs looks like the top of a lamp to me, perhaps a pendulum light.
Definitely keep the roundups. It’s so frustrating to watch other channels that don’t do a roundup at the end. For us viewers it’s nice to see the finds cleaned up. Thanks for your enthusiasm, it’s highly contagious 😃

The round-up is essential for a close look at your finds, and an explanation of what they are, I really enjoy them

My first thought was a spur too Elizabeth@@elizabethscruggs1622

I love ❤️ your music selections too.
I love the roundups as that’s where I get to hear the amazing history behind the items you find.

I like the shards stories🥰
You lovely ladies still haven't invested in a loop your killing me smalls.🤣🤣🤣🤣
I enjoy the roundups! It’s where I learn a bit of history!
I love the round ups and Sherd stories... Nothing wrong to learn more about the things you found. Keeping my fingers crossed that little doll is Roman... How exciting 😊
As someone who lives in Los Angeles, California, where mudlarking mostly yields handguns with serial numbers filed off, I’m both envious and in awe.
I love the roundups.
Perhaps, you should provide a screen prompt to alert those, who are disinterested, know that a roundup is about to begin.
That little person looks really ancient, you should investigate this find. 14:07
I love watching you two, you bring joy to my heart. Whether mudlarking, crafting or "dolls-housing", you radiate so much happiness. Your pleasure in what you are doing is almost tangible even through the screen! Thank you for being you.
OOOhhh a frozen Aphrodite or is it Venus coming out of the sea.......... awaiting the next thrilling instalment with baited breath.....
Hope u kept that claw pipe, looked like a dragon 🐲 face
Happy Thanksgiving to all!! 🤗🙏🏼
I didn’t understand why you can’t go back to that beach for some time again 🤷♂️ thanks for a great film it was long but l enjoyed it.
Are you planning to decorate the doll houses for Christmas? The wealth you found would make a great wealth with a little bit of holiday ribbon.
Can’t wait 😛
Wow!!! I mean… wow!!! 🏛️!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🎉🍾👏
Hello from Ukraine, very peaceful videos ❤️
Just by the picture. I can tell this is going to be good!!!!
It's amazing how that doll lived all those years and Only had broken ends of the arms
Getting a small fix watching these since I’m missing larking right now 😢
No link for the roundup :(
CONGRATULATIONS xx
Kate you are a beautiful person with a beautiful soul fluer keep up the great job being a great mom
Congratulations 😊
Ooooh, the tile would be gorgeous in a planter with some moss and little plants and rocks!
You could use that as a hanging mirror ball only crystal in a party room in a modern dolls house 8:46
It reads ‘The Perfume Brothers’ 38:51 .
Yes please keep the round-ups. I love seeing the things you find all cleaned up and learning the little bits of history/information that you find about different things. Oh and what an amazing Roman figure 😮❤
Thank you Kate and Fleur for your lovely video ❤😊
The little circular handle with make a fantastic Christmas reaf..
Lovely long episode and wonderful historic find. Kate has a sweet beautiful smile. Beware if that is a fertility goddess unless you're planning a mudlark baby.

I always watch your programs until the end as I do like the information you have been able to uncover.
Oh I was really needing this! What a great Roman find! FYI I really love the roundups and hope you keep showing them. SO EXCITED!
Love the rounups. You are both wonderful. Do not give up.
Your metal ring would be a lovely tiny Christmas wreath, Kate!

Hello from California. I like the round up please keep doing them, and congratulations on your Roman find! Amazing that it's been hiding all this time!
I think that the metal thing with propeller-like blades is a rotary fly swotter. The blades
have holes in them to give the flies a chance!

The Roman figure! Oh my heavens, I hope that's what it is, and I'm thinking it is! I have my fingers crossed!!!! The little boys head reminds me of Blue Boy, the painting.
Manchester mudlarkers have the bottom to the lid❤😊
The white oval lid could be a bath tub for the doll's house!
I remember a timebyou were happy w part of bowl of pipe and took ceramic bottles w chips.. u were so excited. Nice to see a video again w that kind of new joy. Great video
Love the Roman doll!
The roundups are educational, love them !

Greetings from Turkiye.🙂
So glad to see another video from you folk, I was starting to get worried when I hadn't seen anything for a while. The "unsettling" animal looked a little like a baboon sitting on its haunches.🐒
Maybe one of those see no evil, hear no evil etc trios, of monkeys.
Amazing!!❤
I quite enjoy the roundups, also. I like everything you do.
LOVE the roundups
I always watch to the very end, it’s always so fascinating
Frere is brother on French, on your perfume lid. it reminds me of Spiller's soap dish.

Congratulations!❤ I adore the two of you and your laugh is contagious 😊
I knew it was a Roman figure; to me it looks like a woman who is expecting a child?? Love your video and all your treasures!! ❣️❣️❣️
The piece of decorative metal could be used as a fireplace screen in a dollhouse.
The Brother Perfumes
It doesn't get better than that!!
Awesome Awesome finds!! I always enjoy watching your adventures!!! Thanks so much ❤
Oh, I could weep for joy at your finds...so lovely
Wow! That is an amazing find! Well done! You ladies are virtually the finest mudlarkers for finding wee items in the sand and mud. Good for you!
