Great video Jacob thanks! Considering the the amount of people coming in and out of Vegas everyday, you would thing the city would have a gay 'area' for visitors to check out but it doesn't. Wow Jacob (hope you see this comment) ❤ - My husband and I watch your channel and have been “regularly” watching your newer stuff (thanks for the tier match tips - we really used them this last week) but this older video popped up on my feed and this one really was so insightful.
My husband and I started a UA-cam channel and have gotten ourselves into the Vegas vlogging space (and somehow the Vegas content on our vlog channel has been where our audience has been growing so we have started going all in on that) - We got married in Vegas and have been debating a move out there to be closer to where we make our content especially since Vegas has been calling out to us and Arizona is just kinda being Arizona.
I love how you mention Nevada is a very libertarian state and while left leaning, I have always felt that sense of “live and let live” among the local people that we always talk to when out filming our content. And to be 100% honest, it should be like that everywhere in the US. Be who you are, be exceptional, and as long as you aren’t harming others, who should care?
So thank you for bringing these LGBTQ+ voices and stories to your channel. For those of us who are gay, it really is nice to see that you covered this topic through this interview (even if it is an older video).

I like living in Vegas. I moved here in 2014 from Georgia, and I find it very comfortable. The streets will eat you alive if you get caught up. My career has kept me grounded and focused here. I met my ex husband here, and we were together for several years, but he got caught up. This is a good place to live though.

The configuration of these places .They are far, from strip, the crowd shows up 3 am ..Luxor pool party better for tourist.Dont go off strip too far.

Great interview! I have a gay friend who used to feel so alone. I absolutely loved him and now things have changed and he feels so much a part of life now. I think that's awesome. I'm not gay but he had such a good heart, I wanted him to feel included and now h e does.

Excellent video with a great guest. To say Ray is knowledgeable on a subject that so many of us know little information about is an understatement. I could sit there all day and listen to Ray. Jacob you are best You Tuber out there giving all humans the chance to express their way of life with no holds barred. I love how non-judgemental you are and inclined to present any subject that may not be the norm for a straight You Tuber to persue.

I call Las Vegas my second hometown because I spent most of teens early 20s living in all parts of the valley in the 2000s. Even though I don't live there anymore I really want to move back to my 2nd hometown! I truly love Vegas and can't wait to go back

David Snider The ones that serve food are allowed to be open. The ones in the casinos can remain open as well. It’s a patchwork quilt of rules and loopholes.
Basically, it’s all bullshit, government picking winners and losers, like in almost every other state.

Just curious... Why are homophobic people offended when they’re called homophobic? I guess the same reason people yelling the N word don’t like to be called racists?
Very odd that these people are proud of their beliefs behind closed doors, yet deny it in public. Almost as if deep down inside, their morality is trying to be heard.
It assumes that anyone who disagrees with you is mentally ill. There was a radio host in San Francisco who turned it around and wondered if some would like being called ‘pervertomaniacs’. It stirred things up.

( NEVER Seen JACOB BLUSH Cherry Red So many times in 20 minutes! LOL So yes I agree on some of this Content however I had Lived in Summerlin Vegas and Boulder Highway areas back in the 1990's and the Gay Vegas community was very ACTIVE and Alive back then. Gay night life at Gypsy, The Backdoor, The Eagle, and Flex was the most popular hangouts off the Strip. For a "First Timer" living in Vegas I highly recommend renting and sharing a room with Gay roommates in the want ads. For they will Definitely show you the Gay Community of Vegas and it's not REALLY one part of town it's very widespread. Also my friends of mine and their friends have highly recommended Mandalay Bay as more of a "Gay hangout" than most Resorts on the Strip. Thank you JACOB for this Vlog it REALLY opened my eyes to his generosity with the Vegas Gay community and thumbs up way up to Rey Rey! I will Most Definitely catch his show at the Flex!! You Guys ROCK!) 👍

Eddie W The Wynn buffet will be re-closed by then and Bachannal at Caesars hasn’t reopened yet.
The only buffet open on the strip is Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan. The Wynn buffet was open but got bad customer reviews and closed it.

Eddie W People were complaining that it wasn’t the same buffet experience. I agree with them. You’re given a menu and the wait staff retrieves your order in the buffet line. Customers were not allowed to approach the line at all and there were complaints that the servers were taking too long to get their food.

In 1993 I walked up to the Concierge desk at The Flamingo and asked where the closest gay bar was and I was met with a stunned silence and she said in all the years she’d worked the desk no one had ever asked, she asked me to wait and went and found a Duty Manager who knew of only one gay bar (I think it was called Angels) and wrote down the address. It was a long way from the strip and when we arrived it had 2 doors; Lesbians one side and gay men and drag queens the other side lol totally separated. I befriended a drag queen who impersonated Dionne Warwick and she recommended drinking Gin & Diet Coke and I still have one occasionally !!

Not sure if i agree with all of that. The culture here is very clicky. I have been here 20 years and i don't have no where near the friends i had back east. Now partly my fault i have standards beyond partying and drinking.
