Wow! Illegal prostitution in Las Vegas has gotten so out of hand in the last 35 years. I had more action when I lived there than I did in the 3 days I was there prior to moving, when I was checking out where I was going to rent/live, but the prostitutes I came across were just trying to either score their next “ drug hit” or pay their own rent. The scenarios you talk about in this vid are way more in depth than TV shows and movies depict. On the other hand, it sounds like the pimps and girls have paid attention to those scripts and realized how stupid “johns” really are. I came across one at a bar in Westgate (back then it was the Las Vegas Hilton). Most of the time though I found them near the places they lived. I actually got to know some over several days before hooking up. That was years ago - I don’t do that anymore. I’ve become asexual since.
So I used to work the graveyard shift at the Diamond Inn, across the street from the Mandalay Bay and I remember 2 times where prostitutes drugged men and stole money from them. One of those occasions placed me in an awkward situation because a prostitute escorted a Swedish or Danish tourist to his room and 5 minutes later came back to the lobby where I worked and took his credit card and kept making withdrawals. She said the tourist wanted to give her a “birthday present”. She made about 5 withdrawals before the card finally declined. I believe she probably got about $1,000. Now here is where it gets funny: At one point she mentioned she was wearing makeup (she was a BEAUTIFUL black woman with an amazing face and body) and I said “wait…youre wearing makeup?”. At first she was like “cmon man, are you serious?” I got close to her face, squinted and looked carefully at her face and said “youre wearing makeup?” She then got visibly emotional and said “I love you!” and gave me a $20 bill and left. True story.

Great video. I wish a buddy of mine had seen it. He was murdered earlier this year by a prostitute that he took back to his room and he was drugged with fentanyl. Her and her husband had been running this kind of scam and others for a couple years. My buddy died that night from an OD and fortunately the scumbags were caught and a criminal trial is pending.
@@bubbaj1932 Thank you very much. Hard to come to grips with it. He was definitely flawed as a person, but the amount of good he did really made him a productive and loved member of society. I need to face these POS to help with closure when the trial happens.
As a security guard who works at one of the strip properties, everything he said is spot on. He also should have added that even if security and police are able to help you in a situation involving a prostitute, you'll still be charged for soliciting sex, so you'll be a victim and be slapped with a charge, its a terrible idea so just ignore those women as tempting as they are. The only advice I can say is that if you get into any trouble at an MGM, Caesars, or any mega resort casino, notifying security is way more effective than trying to fix the problem yourself or calling the police. We know the property better than you do and we can direct police, paramedics, and provide first aid way faster than any other help can arrive. Good video.
If you ever decide to in the future, be careful if you ask them to evacuate their bowels on your chest.... they'll pull that, 'I cant go. Im trying to shit on you, you see I'm pushing but I just don't have to go right now' bullshit. Yet you don't get any money back if you leave with a clean chest, and every time, if you stand in the hall for a few minutes on your way out, you'll here a toilet flush within 5 minutes!! Almost every bitch drops what shoulda been YOUR heat as soon as you leave and just fakes not being able to cover your chest so that it looks like a Pollock painted with wet dook!! Apparently, rolling around in a baby pool covered in shit while pissing on yourself "takes up too much of their "valuable" time" and they have to either "clean up and cover the smell of shit or pay for and move to another room" cause thats sooo difficult, besides its THEIR shit, the smell shouldn't be THAT bothersome..... Anyway, Im just saying, when you're in this situation, and lets be honest you'll DEFINITELY be in this situation, don't pay to have a whore unload her ass on your chest upfront, hold the cash earmarked for this part of the service until after that dump is delivered to your satisfaction.... otherwise, theres a really good chance that you won't be spreading shit all over yourself and pissing into your own face and if you can't do that, then what are you paying a whore for?
As an 18 year old US Marine in 1977 I took a trip with buddies from 29 Palms Ca to LV by a bus. Upon arrival every hooker, con man , rip off artist, and scumbag, was waiting to steal as much money as quickly as possible, and in the late 70s it wasn't difficult identifying young Marines from the rest of the population . I think some people wish they could hang out at Emergency Room and yell,.. " That's what you get , Stupid !" at every man, woman and child that an ambulance brings in.
The cure for that is to negotiate the price of the photo first. It's a lot cheaper than they will charge you if you talk price after the photo is taken.
I’ve been going to Vegas for probably 30yrs. I don’t normally “hit” the tables until later in the night. Hit some slots around 10pm and go from there. Around 11pm on, you’ll begin to see very young (20ish) very attractive woman (Alone), start showing up hanging around the elevators. One night during my last trip, around 12:30am or so, I was headed up to my room to grab a pack of smokes, when a young lady said “hi”. I stupidly said hello back. You going to your room, she asked, I said yep, going to grab smokes. Can I go with you? What for, I’ll be back down here in 5 min. Your married aren’t you Nope Well, I’m gonna go with you No, your not. Tell you what, if you’re still here when I come back down, maybe we can talk. (which I had no intention of doing) Ok, I’ll be here I spent an extra few minutes in my room and came back down, and she was gone. Guys, these “ladies” will hover around the tables and see what kind of “stack” you have. They see you away from the tables, they’ll “attack”. Not only was I going to grab smokes, I wanted to put about $3500 in the safe in my room. Go there enough, they’re easy enough to spot.
you are paranoid. how often do you think they rob people in big hotels? most of the women there are working with the staff. part of everyday business. you talk as if no one not gets robbed
Just back from Freemont St. Saw 2 topless women trying to pick pocket some guys front pack that was in the back area. They ended up getting the guys credit card and scanning it into their own device. Wow what a stupid thing to do ! Probably deserved being ripped off.
I work in IT. A few years ago I worked for the venetian and palazzo hotels. They had company-wide meetings where they talked about security. One of the things that they mentioned was making sure that your hotel door is always shut. Because people would get in to the hotel halls, push on the hotel room door, and then get into your room and steal your stuff. Watch your back and be smart while you're in vegas or anywhere, for that matter.
Worst scam is you get married and get tortured and nagged for your whole life whilst she takes all your money and steals your house at any moment. Be careful.
Beware of getting into random limos from off the strip. I got in one with my friend and a "Host" and even though I was drunk I knew something wasn't right. My escape tactic was that I needed to throw up, car door wouldn't open from the inside and the windows couldn't be rolled down. So the driver rolls down the window, I open the door from the outside and I get out immediately and bailed with my friend.
The “puke trick” works basically anywhere, especially at concerts. My dad taught it to me, if there’s a huge crowd of people and you’re trying to get out quickly, just act like you’re gonna throw up and it’s like Moses parting the Red Sea! 😂
oh boy I spent a night with a female limo driver I will never forget. She told me she was cheaper than a cab. Haha. She lied but she took me from one bar to another and got drunk with me and showed me places in Vegas' underbelly I will never forget.
You are dead on. I've been to Vegas dozens of times. You spelled out the reality of it. One thing I noticed is that the staff at big hotels are fairly protective of their guests. I was having a drink at the bar in a strip hotel and a couple of girls started flirting with us hard. The staff seemed to know they were up to no good and ejected them with a few minutes. I wouldn't have done anything with them because I saw what they were doing but the bar staff was on it.
naturally an establishment like a hotel wants to keep its customers safe to have a good reputation. Regular people won't want to go to a wretched hive of scum and villainy

We stayed at one of the top properties. We also met some women & invited them back to our room. And yes, one of them did text someone. And yes, Three Guys did show up at our door. One of the women answered the door. The Three Good Sized Guys entered the room & demanded our wallets. I didn't experience Las Vegas as scammy, but I booked a hotel 1 block off the Strip (so incredibly cheap cost), walked or drove myself anywhere I needed to be, and only made purchases by card from legal and regulated businesses. It was a good time. The coolest parts were the interesting hotel designs and the excellent food

I've been going to Vegas since 1990. Mostly in the summertime. Is June July August-September. May. Usually Friday Saturday Sunday. I never notice any of this. The only thing I notice are the people that hand out you know the cards to call somebody to come to your room.
@@1990758 WOW!!! You must have guts, or be extremely tolerant of heat. Because a friend and I went to Vegas back in AUGUST of 2004 or 2005, and the heat was only bearable because of the air conditioning provided....Which made me wonder WHAT was really supplying so much power to light and "chill" the city back then....I find it very difficult to believe that ONLY the Hoover Dam was supplying the city with that much power as I was told by a number of people. Even back then, Las Vegas was a BIG city, and I find it difficult to believe that a dam built in the 1930's was advanced enough to supply the Vegas of the year 2004 or 2005!! (But then again, maybe it's just because I know practically nothing about electricity and power....Or the "aliens" at Area 51 is the REAL source of power??🤣😶🤣) And speaking of the Hoover Dam, the heat that day visiting it was the HOTTEST weather I had ever experienced in my life!! I lived in Vegas for 3 years, and I'll say my street smarts went up exponentially during that period. Nearly any stranger could have a bad agenda. I kept to myself, did my work, and made sure I never made myself too vulnerable to be robbed. I lived in the bad areas, but I kept my car empty and my doors always locked. I never held much cash in my wallet. If I won a big sports bet, I didn't make it known.

This happened to me at the Olympic garden back in the day, I saw a girl put something in my drink, I calmly acted like I was slightly drugged then left, Before I left I switched drinks so she probably had a bad night lol 😂
It's comical really, I've lived in the Downtown area forever it seems, at least over 10 years now. Being a native Nevadan it never fails to make me shake my head if I find myself wandering around the Fremont St. Experience and I see 2 or 3 girls approach a guy. Just out of the blue. They couldn't be more obvious. They normally work in pairs though as I've had them approach me. The 1st thing they love to ask? "So where you from?" The very second I say "I'm a local." they become annoyed and wander off. They very much only like to prey on the Tourists.
Yes it’s the same all around the world, where are you from? In third world countries they can be the hardest to shake because they’re more desperate. Especially in Bali but I figured out the quickest way to ditch them if you’re tired and done of their shit. Before they get close enough to even talk to you hold your hands out to each side and say “I have no money!” It ends it right then and there!
I had a few approach me at casinos. Now I lived temporarily in Vegas since I was working as a roofer for a federal contractor in Nellis AFB and so our bosses ended up renting us some apartments. So every other weekend we went out to the Strip. And that's where I would have women, mostly Asian women try to start chit chat with me while I played slots. Now a high school friend of ours who was already living in Vegas warned us before hand that these women were either hookers who could also be thieves or even worse, undercover cops. It didn't help that I was 20 so for the first few weeks I was already breaking the law by gambling while underage. It came to the point where I stopped being nice and told them to piss off. Besides, if you do want to hook up, it's not that hard. There's plenty of regular clubs, strip clubs, bars, etc. Plus unless they're a giga Chad, men inevitably pay for sex one way or another so you may end up buying a girl a drink or whatever and take her back to your place, which we did. And of course, the aforementioned escorts, which you can contact via the cards that they give out at the Strip. And you do see them with rich old farts riding in Vipers and Ferraris looking miserable but hey, they're probably making at least $1k that night
I like how Jacob went over all the points and kept the viewer listening and fixed on this. He went over details and examples of what happen and could happen. Thanks Jacob
That's the "Know Your Number" rule. Guys, be honest with yourself. If you're a pudgy 5 or 6 and a smokin' hot 9 starts flirting and chatting you up then you're about to lose your wallet or, maybe a kidney.
It was 1 1/2 years ago. I wanted to walk to a dispensary to go pick up some choice vape pens for my stay. When I cut through the back neighborhood going west behind the stratosphere there was a man getting roughed up by 2 other men. It looked totally staged. Because they were mainly hitting his body but nothing looked like it would really hurt because the intent wasn’t there. It seemed as though they were waiting for me to intervene for their chance to rob me. But I laughed and keep walking while at the same time making sure I was aware of my surroundings. The 2 guys eventually left. Don’t know if they took anything. The guy who was getting roughed up was trying to make it look like he was a victim but I wasn’t falling for it. Needless to say learn how to read the body language of people. Not just the actions. It can help keep you out of trouble.
I had my fun 1970s stationed in West Germany 🇩🇪/ even at Fort sill, ( Lawton, oklahoma ) w the hookers. Times are different now. These hookers are more scandalous nowadays ☠️💃👀
They have very good accessibility for older folks. Everything has ramps and elevators. Venetian, Mirage and Caesar's is nice. Haven't been in a while. Don't go hunting up drugs and hookers or go off-strip. Take in a show or two (get tix before you get there). And some food. The food is amazing. If you're not a degenerate gambler and want to bet some games it's really not a bad weekend. I was mostly at the caesar's sportsbook and a lot of the people were 60+. And the servers came around regularly because people tipped.
Working on the strip I noticed the casinos kind of turn a blind eye to this activity but some security friends told the same kind of stories. When a young girl would come up to me all flirty, I would just say I’m local, they spin around so fast and gone.
When I was driving truck there would be a occasional lot lizard knocking on the door....I would just tell them, ""Quiet....If you wake my wife up, she's gonna be pissed!"" They promptly beat feet every time. Another thing: Don't offend or abuse these women. They have a mean streak. A guy told me a story about the time he cussed out a hooker. The next morning he had a bunch of flat tires and had to call a tire service truck to get them aired up, She had pulled the valve stems out of the valve cores. She also tore the ribbon seal off his trailer. That meant he had to deliver a un-sealed load and the customer made him piece-count the load....... Don't play with these women but be polite about it. IF you are a trucker, NEVER LET ANYONE into your cab. The screwin'' yer lookin'' for ain''t nuthin'' like the screwin'' you''ll get!
Pro tip . If you are in Vegas ,and plan on boozing heavily ,bring just enough cash for the night and an ID. That way you don't lose a watch, credit cards ,etc
Last time I was there is was like $25 for a hamburger and fries and nothing else was open. Add to that the ridiculous $45 resort fee they add on to the room. 20 years ago I worked in Vegas often... At Xmas time the Palace Station had tower rooms for $9... and $5 for employees. Whisky Petes had $16 room for CDL truckers...
I saw several girls on the side of the street... I stopped my car to ask directions to the freeway... They disagreed about the best route... And concluded by saying "Listen... If you go that way it's uncertain... If you come with us, we know what's going to happen..."
My wife's parents would go to Sin City every year. They knew how to stay safe. The stories they'd bring back about how people were so addicted to the gambling tables in the casinos, they'd actually put up the mortgages on their homes in the event they'd win. Nine times out of ten, they didn't win.
I'll never forget after a long night out walking back through the casino and passing by the locals at the slot machines. My Vegas friend told me they were trying to make their rent. A few literally were leaning forward with their heads against a paper cups against the machines while they were pulling. Like zombies barely awake.
I was at The Horseshoe Casino in 2022. A few young guys approached the roulette table I was at. Placed a $2,000 bet on black .. and *lost.* I think they took a collection from friends back home. At least $400 of it was in smaller bills.
prime rule of safety for a tourist is don't act like a tourist. when outside, - don't wear or carry anything flashy - be discreet and don't draw attention to yourself - blend in as much as possible - always be alert and aware of your surroundings - minimal or no alcohol/weed consumption - regard everyone with suspicion specially the overly friendly locals
I was a police officer in California for 26 or so years. I got promoted to detective, and wound up assigned to vice. We had a huge problem with rent-a-friends and their pimps, but weren't quite trained in enforcement of the pertinent laws. My partner and I got sent to Vice Investigation School. We were taught that the hogs we had on our Ho Stroll were the same hogs from the houses in Las Vegas, Pahrump, and so on. We didn't believe it. We started decoying these "Ladies", and, as part of the arrest process, we began to find all kinds of flyers in their purses, coat pockets, and so on. Sure enough, almost all of them carried flyers from Nevada cat houses. The hookers just went on a big loop. That was all.
Having lived here in Las Vegas the last 30 years and known a lot of people who have worked on the Strip, all the scams you mention are spot on from everything I have heard. Always watch out for pickpockets (men or women) usually working as a team especially around big events in Las Vegas like fights, etc. Also, it is amazing to me how many tourists that come here think that prostitution is legal all over Nevada and are surprised to find out it is not in Las Vegas.
@@YesYourRight I've lived there on and off three times since 84 and I always wondered the same thing. It baffles me that anyone is superficial and dull enough to think that any of this looks appealing. I worked at North Tahoe during college in the late 60's. Even in that much smaller and less glitz-saturated environment, I don't think I ever met one genuine person. There were few honest people, few hard workers, and absolutely no deep thinkers. The mob had dignity, honor, and respect. They had pride in their business, and they didn't allow corruption to run a muck. When they drew a line people knew not to cross it and it was always fair. I was in Vegas during the late 80's, and was warned by a resident to avoid special "girly bars", which were nondescript places that offered female company in a bar-like atmosphere. Of course the drink prices were over-inflated, and they would continue to place charges on your card as long as they could keep you there. In the 1960's Germany, prostitution was legal and regulated by the government. I spent 3 years there and the girls were great and friendly. There were never any incidents at all at any of the clubs or brothels. The cost was $12.00, good ol Army days.
All the men were dead after WW2, so women had to do something. And most were gang raped by soldiers when Berlin fell so they were open to it. That kinda thing changes a girl.
I remember when my brother was robbed in Vegas. Him and his buddy her at the strip club and a stripper walked up and asked him if he wanted a lap dance for $20. He politely declined and said no. She walked over to the bouncer and told him that she had given my brother a lap dance and that he refused to pay her. The bouncer came over and refused to let them leave until he gave her $20.
Something like that happened to my cousin but then he went back and shot the security and stripper. 😕 But he’s in Mexico now he’s an English teacher now lol 😂

I never scammed anyone, but I also never went to a hotel or apartment without a room number. Robbers who couldn’t afford a room would ambush women in the hallway, stairwell, or double doors. It happened to me half a dozen times, at least. A girl wants to be able to ring an apartment buzzer and get an answer, or watch/listen for lights and sounds in the room to verify that there’s a paying occupant. Also, predators would give you one room number and come up behind you from the room across from it. Or they’d give the wrong room number so no one could come to your rescue. No way I’d meet with anyone who wouldn’t tell me where they’re at. If I got a room number and any other door opened or I was approached on the way to the room, I’d run. Both parties have to worry about their personal safety.
What is actually the standard charge women in casinos or on the street charge someone to go to the hotel room in las vegas? Is it like 100-150 per hour or is it more? I already had worst experiences with paid women like once her "management“ was kicking against my door trying to get in and she took my money.

When I was 4 years old my dad started taking me to the Mustang Brothel. We would go on Sunday afternoons about once a month. Back then the Mustang was in Wadsworth a few miles farther east than were the brothels are now. Prostitution was illegal in Washo county but not in Story county. I would sit on the ladies laps while my dad did business. He owned a drug store in Reno with a Revlon franchise so sold cosmetics and sundries to the sex workers. Both my mom and dad were for legalized prostitution for a bunch of reasons I didn't understand. Going out there was always fun because the girls smelled good and made a fuss over me. Reno was a great place to grow up in.

Right, the take away from this story is, laws prohibiting anything actually make criminal organizations. This has been demonstrated over and over again but the lesson is never learned. legalize everything and decriminalize it, then regulate it.
Fun fact: if you are hosting a bachelor party at a Vegas hotel be careful when you think you're hiring a dancer. Because you might get a hooker instead. I attended a party and when the host thought he hired dancers he met on the strip. When they arrived and handed them the money, they said that was their "arrival fee" and it will be extra charges per customer. At that time we all realized they weren't dancers. This led to a lot of people chasing these women up and down the hallways trying to get their money back while their pimp was being called to come up and rescue them. I laughed my ass off because it was 3 am and it felt like I was watching a movie right before my eyes. That was the best $50 I spent that entire trip. The bottom line is who do you ask for help identifying local talent? The bartenders. They usually know whose around and what they're up to. lol.
A lot of you have all these crazy stories from Vegas lol. I figured there was a lot of escorts and dancers looking to make money. But I never knew there were so many scammers there! It's nuts. I always wanted to go but sounds like you can't trust anyone. Asking bartenders is a great idea though.

@@im1who84u Thanks man! Yeah honestly I probably would get into trouble lol. Just thinking about it a little. Maybe I would get 2 hotel rooms for the night close to each other. Then if I got a girl that was trying to scam me and not being honest. I would just tell her to hang out in the room and I would be right back. I would leave something of my property in the room with her that I know she would steal. With the receipt on me. Then tell security that there is a crazy woman that came in my room and I ran. And she stole stuff from me. Then I would stay in the other room for the night just in case they send a pimp or something after me later. And if they did, I would I notice being so close, I would call security again saying there is someone I think has a gun outside my room. breaking into another room. Boom they both get busted and I had fun watching it all lol. And the whole time. I didn't do a single thing against the law. Just using their urges against them. I think a good way to tell if the girl is part of a scam. Is to leave some money and change. Maybe a nice looking watch or sunglasses in the bathroom all over the place and see if she took anything. Honestly I think a lot of women would do stuff like this if they lived somewhere like vegas. Money turns women on more than men ever could lol.
I like this guy. Things you'd never think of, but very helpful precautions. Vegas has transformed from a fun city 30-40 years ago, to a land of scheming criminals. Nothing exists in Las Vegas anymore except a multitude of methods to shake you down. Those billion dollar casinos weren't built by having tourists walk away with money.
Seems like 2 mentalities visit Vegas. 1) I'm going to Vegas to hit the jackpot and become rich. 2) I have lots of extra dough and deep pockets, so why not leave a deposit in Vegas?
Vegas was founded by criminals it was never "good" the era you describe as good was just when you were first introduced to it. You were probably young and full of wonder. Vegas today is better than Vegas yesterday, not because it's any better with crime or sin but because the technology is better.
Homeless harassing and threatening violence is what I experienced in Las Vegas. I won’t be returning anytime soon. I don’t feel safe vacationing there.

I used to go to Vegas for work about twice a month. Every time I had a girl ask me if I wanted to party I replied, 'Sure, I charge $900/hr or $6k for the whole night....plus tip." Some were taken back, some rolled their eyes and some just stood there like 'what did this DadBod guy say to me?' But they all walked away. One time I had one plop down next to me on a bar stool and start the soft sell. I asked where she was from and it turned out to be my home town. After I told her it was my home town, "Oh I just move there from XYZ" Turns out XYZ is where I was living at the time as well. I didnt even get to finish informing her that I lived there as she just got up and walked off. 'Ill tell everyone you said hi!' I got the bird in response. So yea.....there is something about being #67 for the week that doesnt make me feel special.
I went to Vegas when I turned 21 and we were staying at the RIO during the WSOP.. One evening me and two friends went to Caesars then at about 3 or 4 AM we left. We were drunk and flagged a taxi. The taxi driver kept asking if we wanted to go get up with some girls ( I didn't really want to but I didn't want to be "that guy" while my other two friends were all for it, but I should've let them go and just went back to my hotel). It's clear that taxi drivers and these establishments are in cohoots. We get to the place and it is the absolute hood. We walk in which is $40 to get in the door. They brought out the girls and you pick one then go to a room (that's another $200). Now, I feel really awkward and just kinda sat there talking to her. because I felt guilty I dunno, that's just not my thing. Then here it comes, more money. I realize it's not gonna end so I just leave. I asked the dude if I could just wait on my friends but being the sleeziest person I've ever met in my life (appearance and personality) he wouldn't let me so I left. I walked out and and stood at the street praying for another cab to come by. A huge dude walks out of the same place I was just in and stares me down. There were sketchy ass people walking around everywhere and I just knew some bad shit was about to happen. Luckily a cab pulled up and I flagged him down like my life depended on it- which it probably did. I made it back to the hotel and a couple hours later my two friends did as well. They both spent over 1k and didn't get more than a well lotioned foot rub. My point here is to watch out for the cabbies cause they're as sleezy as some of the pimps.
Strip joints pay bounty to cabbies to bring visitors to them. A sleazy cabbie can make an extra $100 with 4 guys looking for a good time which they will regret later.

Now here is where it gets funny:
At one point she mentioned she was wearing makeup (she was a BEAUTIFUL black woman with an amazing face and body) and I said “wait…youre wearing makeup?”.
At first she was like “cmon man, are you serious?”
I got close to her face, squinted and looked carefully at her face and said “youre wearing makeup?”
She then got visibly emotional and said “I love you!” and gave me a $20 bill and left.
True story.

Good video.
If you go to a girl for paid sex, you're not a "victim."

The most terrifying part of this video? realizing Carrot Top still has a show.
Where's your show?
I was a Vegas resident for 22+ years
This is an absolute factual video
I've been going to Vegas since 1990. Mostly in the summertime. Is June July August-September. May. Usually Friday Saturday Sunday. I never notice any of this. The only thing I notice are the people that hand out you know the cards to call somebody to come to your room.
Do you see a bunch of "Nicolas Cage" characters who go there to "LEAVE"???
(But then again, maybe it's just because I know practically nothing about electricity and power....Or the "aliens" at Area 51 is the REAL source of power??🤣😶🤣)
And speaking of the Hoover Dam, the heat that day visiting it was the HOTTEST weather I had ever experienced in my life!! (I think the temp that day was 120°, or OVER!!!🥵🥵)
To think men performed dangerous physical work in such heat to build that dam is remarkable itself!! (Assuming such temperatures are not that unusual?)
@@jebidiahnewkedkracker1801 lol The heat and Las Vegas doesn't bother me But the heat and Los Angeles does. We went to Hoover dam 2015 Memorial Day weekend 125゚.
@@1990758 WOW!! I wonder if there is a record heat there and WHAT it was and WHEN it was!! When I was at the Hoover Dam doing the "tourist thing" I remember some guy with a Southern drawl saying: "I'm from Alabama, and I ain't ever felt heat like this!!!". Interesting comment because having survived Basic Training at Ft. McClellan in Alabama, I knew or "met" that "Alabama heat", but with HUMIDITY 75° can indeed feel much more warmer, but that DRY heat in the Nevada/California/Arizona desert made "Mr Alabama's" remark much more profound to me!!
They should pay you more for these public service announcements. You handle topics no other channel on Vegas does. Thanks for all us suckers.

Thanks Robert!
@@JacobslifeinVegas Did a girl or pimp give you that bump on your right side?😎
Maybe I'll just do my wife's girl friend, slot safer.
Thank you for the warnings. Simply realizing that anyone coming up to you unasked, could be a big problem for you helps. Never think you just got lucky when she looks right in your eyes and smiles.Have a plan of where you want to go and stick to that plan. I spend a lot of time making distance between me and other people trying to stay with me. If I don't know you, I don't want you around me. And it takes years to know me, not hours.Never ever let a stranger buy you drinks or food especially at a place you mistakenly let them get you to go too. If the bartender and this person look chummy, they could be running a scam. Frankly, be smart and protect yourself at all times. Especially in a place you don't know. There are threats in any city. At least, where you live, you know where those threats are. Here, you are just meat for the grinder.
It’s not that serious, if you’re forcing people to take years to know you. You’re only hurting yourself and pushing yourself towards a sad, isolated life

None of these are “scams”, it’s just assault and robbery lol.
Yeah, a scam is when you pay her and she says “i have to pee first” and then climbs out if the window. Lol. Not when a guy sticks a gun in your face.
Haha you're not wrong, I think scam is the wrong word, this is just straight up getting robbed.

How much did you lose?

Dude!! I remember Olympic Gardens! OG! Man fun times we had.
Haaaaa,nice job!
You should have called the cops on her.

Lol; simple solution: don’t be a scumbag who uses prostitutes! Better yet, don’t be a scumbag who drinks and gambles, and wastes his life in Vegas!
"Local" works at the strip clubs too. Las Vegan since 1994.
Why would you possibly go to Bali ?
I like how Jacob went over all the points and kept the viewer listening and fixed on this. He went over details and examples of what happen and could happen. Thanks Jacob

What if that guy died or something lol. Good on you though, the scams like that make it rough for people actually getting robbed

No never too late..

Vegas is no fun.
I had my fun 1970s stationed in West Germany 🇩🇪/ even at Fort sill, ( Lawton, oklahoma ) w the hookers. Times are different now. These hookers are more scandalous nowadays ☠️💃👀
You're in Pattaya aren't you, you badass.
No doubt.ive worked in casinos on strip most my life and they want nothing to do with locals.
When I was driving truck there would be a occasional lot lizard knocking on the door....I would just tell them, ""Quiet....If you wake my wife up, she's gonna be pissed!""
They promptly beat feet every time.

I've live in Vegas 38 years and it is easy to stay out of trouble. If you're in shady situations you'll get shady results. 🤷
It's called being street wise,,,,,
I saw several girls on the side of the street... I stopped my car to ask directions to the freeway... They disagreed about the best route... And concluded by saying "Listen... If you go that way it's uncertain... If you come with us, we know what's going to happen..."
You are a legend. Telling ppl things no one else will dare say. Thank you.
But that one person who wins is what keeps them going.
@M0viLover I saw a lady playing for 60k a hand at blackjack. That was interesting
This is why I don't gamble.

They required you to buy drinks for yourself and the girls, and ran a tab on your credit card. Of course the drink prices were over-inflated, and they would continue to place charges on your card as long as they could keep you there. The guy told me one was lucky to escape with no less that $1000 or more charged to your card. If you complained, they had bouncers that would give you a hard time. It was basically coerced robbery from the moment you walked in the door. There were dozens of ads in the Yellow Pages for these places.

Yes, "escorts" drugging men happens quite a bit. I met an escort who wanted a drink so she suggested a bar and took me there, she asked to take a sip of my drink, turned her head, then gave the drink back to me, next thing I know I was a zombie with no more money.
Have your own bottle & don't share.
Stop hiring prostitutes. It's illegal and totally nasty. Better to get a real date than pay for one.

Mad props on your ability to loudly narrate a video about how to buy a prostitute in a crowded city center. I could never do it.
Crowded? Hardly anyone was around. 🤷🏼♂️

I totally agree... btw wanna hang?

You forget from the equation democrats wont punishing criminals.

Can’t even imagine going to Las Vegas with everyone trying to scam you and take your money.
They usually know whose around and what they're up to. lol.
If you got a handy , why did they want their money back?
Sounds like a spinoff of The Hangover, lol
A lot of you have all these crazy stories from Vegas lol. I figured there was a lot of escorts and dancers looking to make money. But I never knew there were so many scammers there! It's nuts. I always wanted to go but sounds like you can't trust anyone. Asking bartenders is a great idea though.
@@troy510 I've been to Vegas a few times. Only go into the well known and reputable casinos and don't go looking for trouble and you'll be fine. The staff will look out for your well being.
It has always been as described..
If you'd never think of such things happening then you should never leave the rock you live under.
Vegas was founded by criminals it was never "good" the era you describe as good was just when you were first introduced to it. You were probably young and full of wonder. Vegas today is better than Vegas yesterday, not because it's any better with crime or sin but because the technology is better.

So it's like Clark Griswold said in Vegas Vacation , when Rusty says "I heard prostitution is legal there!" And he responds "Not Within The City Limits!" Lol.
What could I've been watching that triggered this video recommendation... watched til the end anyway.
