I personally love the wire mini dopp from goruck, simply because i don’t bring much at all. It fits two cables, a few dongles, a slim wall brick, a slim 10,000 portable power bank, and some pens and pencils, AND it lays flat!
Awesome video! I have most of these as well and I largely agree. CAP2 Phx is probably my favorite for tech. I have swapped out tot he Bellroy Carryology collab tech pouch too when I needed to slim down a little bit for a travel kit but CAP2 is my daily driver. The Peak Design was mt first good tech organizer and I loved it at the time but haven't touched it for a while now. The thing I liked most about that one was the cable pass through on the external pocket. I would keep my power bank inside and run the cable for my phone to the external pocket. That way if I needed to charge I could open up that external pocket and plug my phone in, then tuck it back into the pocket while it charged.
GoRuck may be overdesigned from a "Tacticool" perspective, but you can't argue with simplicity. Just opens up, has basic pockets, and thats it. No nonsense.
Perfect timing (as usual)! I have a few of your favs. I'm not a camera girl so I get a lil more space for other tech. Having to do with nothing...I would love a hacks video (or just tell me) as bags often lack something...Example: I wish there was a hack for attaching a field/shadow pocket, pouch, etc., on the top inside of the Bullet which has no internal lash points. Maybe there's an insert that allows for attachments (a 511 sheet?) or remember the buckle/strap management issues with the new EG sling (I would have to hire someone to fix it. Handy, I am not. Ahhh, that sling was so close to being the one. Still on hunt)... Love the comparison/palooza videos and your take on, "what works/what might not." Also a fan of when you review comparable packs. Hope you'll be reviewing the EG CTB26 (compare with its CPL24 brother?). P.S. My other nemesis: Dopp Kits (do you use any of these pouches for that purpose?). Too small, too big, no cage for zipper to prevent stuff from leaking, no AquaGuard zipper, yada, yada, yada....Thanks again!
OH! I have ideas for that! Been working on a hacks video for the bullet. Just ordered some more stuff...thanks for reminding me!! I do have the CTB26 almost here and will definely be comparing it to the OG Phoenix. As for DOPP kits I use the GR1 sized Field Pocket most of the time. I also can use an Echo sized one in a pinch. I have WAY too many Field Pockets.
@@JBOutside1 Oh, please share the hack for the Bullet (I pray I am handy enough to do it or I'm sending mine to you). It's driving me batty and I pick it up less than other packs (that being said, I just ordered the new one with the laptop compartment. Wish they had added a quick access pocket too)...hey, consider adding the everyday CPL24 to your review (for the unlucky that don't have a Phoenix. That would be moi). Best,
@@keltonoge2440 I really do like the CAS2 for portability and its organization. The strap is the only issue. I like it a lot better with the fidlock installed but the strap ends really need tidied up...otherwise it's awesome.
@@keltonoge2440 I second @JB Outside. The bag part is great. The strap, strap management and buckle are misses (IIMHO). If you're more clever than I and can tinker or deal with those parts, onward and upward. For me, so close...
Hmmm, it's complicated. Sort of? I do wish I had one to compare it to others but ultimately I wouldn't use it so I'm glad someone has it that loves it!

Definitely a great accessory for light packing.

Yeah, I didn't notice the pass through on the PD...NICE!!!
As always, great vid. May I suggest you take a look at Mondern Dayfarer Tech Pouch.
I will check it out!
That looks sweet and a GREAT PRICE!!!
Great info. Thank you for your excellent efforts!
Glad it was helpful!
Just got gomatic tech case like you love it nice size and quality
Cool!

Totally agree Steven!

What kind of applewatch ultra band is this? Looks super cool
Nomad
Really wish the Boundary supply tek case was on here
Looks great, was sold out
All solid offerings!
😎
Should have talked about pricing
Fair point.
Could you fit Sony over ear headphones and Nintendo switch inside the CAP2?
YES! Just tested that out. I posted a photo on Instagram and also showed that ability briefly in my Griffin video...which I just filmed.
@@JBOutside1 Subbed, followed and liked. Thank you for the response JB. Have a great day!
You bet! @@logan_HBTFD
Did you bring the Civic access sling on your trip?
I DID! Love that thing. I REALLY need to get those strap ends tacked though!
@@JBOutside1 Been looking a lot at replacing my 6L Bellroy Sling with it, but just cant decide

Do you regret selling the Phoenix?

I would not call most of them Medium sized. They are def quite large for a tech pouch.
Fair enough
7:29 to skip to the important stuff…
Thanks for watching!
