      when she wants to show those pores, she didn’t makeup so to expose the pores.

      For better results I’d say use the chemical exfoliants before any masks, toners, serums etc. the exfoliant would get rid of the dead skin cells allowing the masks/ hydration to penetrate deeper in the skin (:

    One thing I LOVE about your video is that you show your natural imperfect skin upclose without makeup and then transform into GORGEOUS perfect glowy skin with a bit of makeup. Yes, REAL NORMAL people do have pores and don’t have perfect skin. I really don’t like influencer that only show themselves in good lighting so their skin looks good. You inspired me to accept my imperfect skin, but can still look good with a bit of care and makeup.

    I thought I was the only weird one massaging my oily skin with oil because its an odd concept in skincare community lol but its nice to know someone else has been doing the same. I've been doing that "deep" cleansing massaging (for 10-15mins) with grapeseed or safflower oil, literally oil, in my PM routine for years now. Its a similar concept of double cleanser except this doesnt lather so I rinse off with warm water followed by a regular cleanser that can remove that oil without stripping my face. I used to do it with coconut oil years ago but grapeseed/safflower oils are better since they are lightweight. For me this is a non irritating way to exfoliate my skin in a way because I can feel my bumpy/congested skin feeling smooth afterwards. Sorry tl;dr. Just wanted to share my experience.

    • @wateverlyf
      @wateverlyf 2 роки тому +15

      @@nana8084 Yes I just use the pure oil because I run out of my formulated cleansing oil and get lazy to purchase a new one. For me its pretty much the same concept except maybe this way I can massage it longer as well without it emulsifying. But I also need to use a stronger cleanser (with sulfates maybe) to wash off the oil afterwards or it will clog my pores and cause breakouts. Its better to test it yourself what really works for your skin. Dear Klairs gentle black fresh cleansing oil is a good one too, non drying. I normally do it everyday when I have sunscreen or makeup on but not at home as I dont put anything other than moisturizer. You can try out first what works. I know its hard to find products that are less drying for oily skin.

Also surprisingly, retinol in small quantities has been helping my overall skin texture including pores.
    On a side little note, the essence I have been discovering in 2022 that is dethroning any essences for me and became a cult favorite, is the Aestura Atobarrier 365 hydro essence. It is so incredibly hydrating and takes such great care of my skin barrier that I can't recommend it enough.

After a few weeks try a pure glycolic acid peel in 20 or 30 percent for 1-2 mins. Do this once or twice a week and you will have literally perfect poreless skin that slows/reverses appearance of wrinkles and rarely gets breakouts. Oily-sensitive skin that actually doesn't get greasy here.
    My go-to are gentle chemical exfoliants (AHA being a favourite of mine) and cleansing products that don't create much foam (more gel like or oil cleansers and such). I know that most of us has the idea that more foam = more cleansing, but for certain skin types, foam destroys skin barrier and doesn't help at all.
    That's my sharing moment for you 🌻

    Of all the products mentioned, i’ve used the cosrx products and the Japanese keane rice face mask. Cosrx products are all really good. There ‘s a whole pack of rice mask(not sheets\) available of the keane rice mask. they are Really good. you will definitely see a difference in your skin. i have the worst oily pimple skin with enlarged pores on may T zone. i love the keana rice face mask.

    Nice tips! I also have dry, sensitive AND acne prone skin (ugh) and my holy triad of chemical exfoliants are: AHA10% by The Ordinary, Salicilyc Acid by Selfless by Hyram (amazing results, especially on the sides of the nose!) and the Rainbow Retinol Serum by Hyram again. They are gentle enough for my sensitive skin, but also effective enough for me to notice results after about 3 weeks. But I always make sure to not over-use them, or use them night after night, as it can be counter-productive (sensitized skin). :D

    The best clay masks I've ever tried & used to use very often are Fresh's Italian clay soap bar 🧼 Yes ,a soap !!! Just put that on ( wet it & apply streaks of the soap ) your skin & let it dry !! Another is Lancome white clay mask !!! You'll see blackheads coming off very easily ,instantly as you gently push blackheads after the mask . I highly recommend both !! I had to stop using them for the prices & some ingredients, my concerns for phenoxethanol, etc.

      @@laviniam.1526 A very good point !!! But,I am guilty of convenience as well as my concern for germ ..I prefer in a tube as nobody else touches mine ,no bugs ,either !! Lol. Especially on a trip at a hotel bathroom( after witnessing how hotel maids cleaning the hotel bathrooms /rooms ,I am more paranoid !! ), or any place sharing the bathroom . Another thing on my mind is the ph balance ...,we sometimes need to change ph levels depending on our skin conditions / climates . But,basically mild acidic is the best on face / skin ,or neutral the next best.Gel types or forming types of cleansers in tubes are the best for oily skin like mine & to remove make ups ! Soap bars tend to have the same ph as other soaps unless specifically formulated for face only ,or other particular purpose ( like acne prone skin ,or very sensitive skin ) ,I think ! From my own experiences ! But,I feel guilty ( all of my life since I was little ) ,I try my best to choose ones are recyclables ♻️ But,off course it's gotta be good & does the job !!
      My mom prefers soap bars ,but lately buying tube ones as it doesn't make her face pulled too tightly . We should buy things come in less packaging as much as possible & always recycle ♻️ & do our best to buy ♻️ recyclables. I agree !!! I am a queen of recycling since the early 90's ( 1991 )!!! Lol. But important thing is we ALL do our best !! They don't recycle everything we send them unfortunately ! Many get discouraged by it ,but it's quite opposite, the more we recycle, the more demands will be there !! Meaning more job opportunities for people & encourages companies to make theirs recyclables, or less packaging.,too !! Thank you so much for being well considered for the environment & thank you so much for your reply pointing out the important concerns !!! 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

    I was in Los Angeles, California visiting, I stopped in Korea town ...and spotted a outside hang out spot , like a outside mini mall full of Japanese and Korean culture: I bought so much Japanese skincare products... I am African American...and the face lotions , the face toners, the face emulsions , the face washes..all of it worked on my skin... I'm 30 years old...and never saw my skin so flawless..so soft even when I'm not putting nothing on my face....just flawless....I used a few Korean products up to 2 weeks... The softness and dullness was gone less than that time.......I suffer with large skin pores... Those got tighter, I suffer with dull skin, my face got brighter in 2 weeks or less. I suffer with a 15 year old face tan from the sun.... That went away from using any Korean Brighting face wash....they got a few.. to choose from....but don't be discouraged, there products are gentle and safe...so even if you didn't get the correct one ...that brightens the best...it still is worth buying for it's low prices....if your buying there products that's over 30 dollars...those are the ones that brightens the fastest... (Brighting Faces washes.)... And they don't lighten the skin..they simply remove years of dull dark layers of old sun tans.....I'm looking like I have my 15 year old skintone back.... Because I would always forget my sunscreen...!! I suffer with dry patches on my checks from using harsh soaps on my face...I didn't know was causing this problem.... That was taken care ....from using any of there emulsions and face lotions. Emulsions and lotions are pretty much deep face mositurizers but they are not oily! They glide on nicely on the face and neck , and dries instantly...making your face feel soft like baby powder... silky soft..with no grease look, it feels like your wearing aloe vera on your face...none greasy products. And you don't really have to wonder which ones to buy. I bought a few and I love switching them up throughout the week.... I'm so in love.... the greatest thing about all Korean skincare is, you see results,, and also, I tried using Korean shampoo . My hair is african-a puff ball... Curly ,can break easily if it's not moisturized...I literally thrown away all my black girl hair products 😆 Korean hair products even saved my hair. ...my hair looked so healthy.... . In 1 wash.... Now I got my African American mother using everything....... ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
    I am just still shocked........ Fast results, safe products that cater to sensitive skin.,.. And the best hair products ??? Amazinggggggggg.
