Everyone else kinda fell off after that. Not to mention the songs released after John’s death, particularly Now and Then, are testaments to Paul’s perseverance and persistence. He ain’t retiring until he takes his last breath. And that will be a truly sad day
Glad Paul remembers the good times with George. Things were tense between them after the Beatles got big. They almost never spoke in the 1970's. They had an on-again, off-again friendship in the 80's. But working together on the Anthology projects in the 90's brought a closeness. There was even reports that George asked Paul to help him with a few tracks on the album that would later be "Brainwashed". Sadly, George died before he and Paul could work on those tracks.

Not every band has someone like that. There might be a better sound when everyone is involved, but if people can't get organized quickly enough..
George didn't have much good to say about Paul cos Paul frequently dismissed George and would put him down. In my opinion The Beatle who had the consistently better material post Beatles was George. He was a bloody good singer/songwriter and a damn fine guitar player.
When asked about what he would of done if The Beatles hadn't happened George said I think I would of still of been with Paul playing music somewhere, I think that was very telling Paul did seem to loose sight of George when he got together with John and George must of been hurt by it, but he never forgot he was Paul's friend first. God Bless George.❤️

I guess that's just how it is, Paul just played a beneficiary role in Georges life.
i dont think George was afraid of John, remember he doesnt mention him in his autobiography. Also his resentment with Paul maybe is after Epstein died and in that time Paul was a freak control everyone in the band resented him
redletter2008 well Paul was the only one who could read music and play multiple instruments. He could have recorded all the songs alone and in fact did a few times haha
John could only play a ukulele when the band formed, I'm not surprised haha
Seems like ego, better to accept that Paul is the musical genius and dynamo among them i think.
I miss George :(
Sounds good reminds me of a trip to Wales me and a friend had.
Awesome being from Harlech this makes me happy to hear this story
R.I.P. Jimmy and Jemimah... oh, well.
No sane person would say George was a better singer.
Well told and hilarious story!
How long did you practice the nice reminiscing there William?
Awww paul what a gem he was my fav
I love sir paul. He is really greatest singer, composer. From nancy padilla
Well this absolutely breaks my heart 😭💔
George and "Sir Paul" (William) didn't grow up together.
I've never heard that spider story. That is HILARIOUS.
Haha people think this is the fake Paul McCartney, yet he seems to have a too good to come up with story about his childhood with George. Paul is still alive!
Unfortunately George isn't around to verify the story.
The only accident Paul McCartney was ever in was a moped accident on December 26, 1965. He split his lip, chipped a tooth and started growing facial hair to hide the scar.
"It was a fake mustache"......@@willdwyer6782
What is scary to some are peaceful to others and "Jimmy and Jemima" are the best example of what is scary to some people , is regarded as harmless by others . Well told Sir Paul! It's a great story for him to remember.
This is the endearing and loving Paul.
I don't kill spiders. They eat the things that attack us.
I could talk to this guy all day.
God brought them together. there Love songs and them being funny helped us in the 60's.... we didn't think of the war so much...
Stories like this make me jealous of experiences during life which I've never even come close to experiencing.
I would SO Buy a box set of this guy talking! He is AWESOME! :D
George & Paul ❤️
As a country girl..l laugh to think they were scared of "daddy long leg" spiders lol😀 Great story. xo
"One Drunken Night in a Welsh Pub".... waiting for the book!
Awww Jimmy and Jemima!!
And there are people who think this isn't Paul McCartney!
Because William is not Paul McCartney.
Hay personas que solo creen tonterías, de hecho no creo que les guste The Beatles, simplemente comentan la frase típica de Paul y en todos los comentários hacen lo mismo, aburren.
Great Story
