友人の結婚式のお祝い余興として、ＭＶを制作しました。
かつてともに音楽を楽しんだ大学音楽サークル仲間が約１５年ぶりに
全国各地で歌い演奏を行いました。

When Kyu Sakamoto released this song in the USA in the summer of 1963 (I was in 9th grade), the song hit #1 for 3 weeks. It is the only Japanese language song to hit #1 on the USA Billboard Charts. It was and still is a great song. It's nice to see young Japanese people performing to the tune to this day. It's a shame we lost Sakamoto in the terrible JAL Flight #123 jet crash in 1985, in the mountains north-west of Toyko.

Today(August 12, 2022) is the 37th anniversary after the death of Kyu Sakamoto.
I found on UA-cam his last voice and singing before his tragic death on the same day.
The public recording of NHK-FM radio ''Song Special - Kyu Sakamoto'' occurred in the afternoon August 12. 1985.
Kyu-san was the host and main singer of the show.

Too tragically and sadly, Kyu-san died in a terrible airplane crash only a few hours later from the radio show.
