    Hair, like our skin, will react to what is happening inside our bodies. I used to think I was protein-sensitive then realized said sensitivity was due to me not consuming enough protein. Once that was remedied, my tresses became less stressed when topical protein treatments were applied. P.S. You keep doing videos, for your presentation is very good!

      Adonya W yes!!! This is what I try to get people to understand, especially when they feel the big chop is their only option for hair growth.

      Really? What is the science behind this? I am sensitive to very particular types of protein like eggs and mayonnaise, but not real protein treatments like hydrolysed wheat and soy

      I just read Suzanne Somers' new book, "A New Way to Age" and one interview stated that for hair loss, as we get older we do not digest protein efficiently, so we should take Hydrochloric Acid with Pepsin, which helps to break down the protein so it is better absorbed.

    I drink the fenugreek tea with honey and eat the ground flaxseed with peanut butter. I use the hydrated fenugreek seeds in some recipes. Last night I added them to an oriental bee dish. So tasty! I also drink fennel seed tea with honey or a mixture of fennel and fenugreek tea with honey. they all have various benefits as herbal remedies. Thanks or sharing the hair tonic idea.

    Fenugreek water is a great scalp tonic. I used it anyway and noticed that the itchiness in my scalp was no longer there. Just to be sure, I stopped using it and within a week I started experiencing the itch again though not as badly. Then I started applying it again and the itch was gone.
    I also noticed that used with rice water, it controls frizz. My hair felt smoother and neater for longer.

    • @VyalaBloom
      @VyalaBloom  5 років тому +10

      I agree it’s a fantastic tonic! My scalp is very dry which makes it very itchy and I’ll get quite a bit of shedding as well, but as soon as I apply fenugreek all my problems go away. It's another reason why I love it so much

      @@shivi4936 I soak the fenugreek seed over night, add the fenugreek water to my rice water, pour the mix into my spray bottle and spray on my hair. Sometimes I spray morning and evening, sometimes only morning. But you must always seal in the moisture with an oil and/or cream.

    • @VyalaBloom
      @VyalaBloom  5 років тому +8

      Yes! You can do either!
      If you’re spraying this to your hair strands maybe try it once a day or every other day... and then use it more or less depending on how it works for you. Since making this video I noticed that fenugreek gives me a lot of buildup if I use too much, without rinsing it out.. so I apply it maybe 2-3x a week with great results!
      If you’re applying this only to your scalp then have at it! Feel free to apply it twice a day or as much as you’d like!
      Let me know if you have any other questions! Best of luck!

    • @VyalaBloom
      @VyalaBloom  4 роки тому +3

      Hello Nebin, so sorry for such a late reply. One of the great things about fenugreek is that there is no limit to how you can use it...
      1. You can absolutely leave it on your hair all day as a leave-in, or to refresh your curls mid-week.
      2. If you find that the smell is a little too strong for you, you can use it as a hair rinse right after shampooing your hair and rinse it out after a few minutes (people find that they don't need to use conditioner after doing this, so it's a great replacement)
      3. You can also use it as a pre-poo to help with detangling and softening your hair prior to cleansing.

    Can I use Aloe Vera juice instead of water? The water is city water and contains Fluoride. Thanks.

      Absolutely! You may want to let the seeds sit overnight instead of simmering them as aloe is very sensitive to heat!

    Do you throw the soaked seeds after? Or you can reuse it?

    • @VyalaBloom
      @VyalaBloom  4 роки тому +7

      You can definitely re-use them! I like to blend my seeds into a paste and I'll add the paste into my conditioners to add more slip and also as a scalp treatment to help with shedding.
      I have videos about how to make both of these if you're interested! Look for-
      "Grain Free Fenugreek Paste" "Simple Hair Growth Treatment with Fenugreek and Hibiscus"
      Hope this helps!

    Question: do I leave it as a leave in or do I have to wash it ? And how many times per week should I use it? Also, when I make it is around a cup of water or less, do I leave the spray bottle out or do I have to store it in the fridge ?

      You can use this up to every day! Though make sure you clarify your hair regularly as this can easily build up on the hair and make it feel quite stiff
