How to Refresh Curls with Fenugreek and Hibiscus

- My oh-so refreshing curl spray. This has been making my curls softer, shinier, and much more hydrated.
Previously: Ann Myst
Ingredients
• 1/2 tsp amla
• 1/2 tsp hibiscus
• 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
• 1/8-1/4 cup brown flax seeds (depending on the amount of "hold" you want)
• 2 cups water
Instructions
1. Add amla, hibiscus, fenugreek, flax, and water to a pot.
2. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes
3. Strain
Storage: Fridge for 2 weeks.

Ok I LOVE THIS TEA! I made it last night and used it on my hair and my hair was so soft and moisturized and it gave me the best twist out I've ever had! This is definitely a new favorite for me. My hair feels so healthy now after just one use. Thank you!

Which of the hibiscus are u referring to pls, the real hibiscus flower powder or sorrel flower powder that most people also refer to as Hibiscus powder

How did you make sure it didn't turn into a gel?? Is it bc it was strained right away instead sitting to cool??

I’m definitely going to try this. I have recently switched to Flaxseed gel as my main styler. I use hibiscus in my recipe. I think this refresher spray will help me tremendously between wash days.

What's wild is, today is the 1st time I seen your video! Two weeks ago, I was messing around w/ different ingredients & decided to make a flaxseed gel but I wanted to add something to circumvent flakes. So I boiled the flaxseeds w/ the hibiscus & a handful of cloves.
When I noticed it didnt congeal, I threw it in the fridge for a week til I figured out how I wasnt going to waste it. So, it was time to do my henna treatment...I used it as my liquid! (Along w/ a few oils of course) It turned my greys red instead of that pretty copper color. My hair didnt feel like hay when I finished washing it. Idk if it helped it stay moisturized, b/c I made a leave in to use too! Next month when I do my henna, i wont do my leave in & I'll let you know what i notice. I shared this b/c i bought a huge bag of loose hibiscus tea for weight loss, but have not touched It... I decided to use it for my hair for moisture only to learn today that it DOES more than that! Sadly 1/4 cup of flax seeds made my mix into a gel so I couldn’t use it in a spray bottle. So I threw it in the freezer and will try and use it as a gel instead
all you have to do is add some distilled water to the gel to loosen it up and you can turn it into a hair spritz. hope that helps.

Yes you can! 1/4 teaspoon of fenugreek powder should work perfectly!

Yes, definitely start with a small amount... maybe 1/4 teaspoon of fenugreek powder and 1 teaspoon of hibiscus flowers. Try that out and see how it works for you!

IF I had beautiful black hair with some gray hair, then I would try this, but I have silver hair & I like it this way & Amla & fenugreek turns the hair darker, but maybe IF I don't use as much, you think that would help please?
