hi, i know you said in the video that you cant change the background but do you know of any round about ways of doing this...I've seen videos of the new models simply uploading a USB with a .jpg image and downloading it... I find it very strange that a radio with so many features wont let you simply change the wallpaper :/

I tested that head unit in Best buy and it's an of head unit, I would prefer the inputs in the front and If you can remove the screen that would be nice!!!

2vlt pre Amp...so after getting the head unit installed your system isn't as loud anymore...now you gotta go buy a line driver....should have it anyways but there goes more cash..
I wonder if it can multi task. Can the kids in the back watch a Vid while i listen to tunes? Can i work other features on the menu like the equalizer while listening to audio or do all functions shut down as soon as i change screens?

How do you TURN OFF subtitles completely on this model?? It allows you to select subtitle language, but it doesn't allow you turn them OFF. DVD playback always displays subtitles. Help me turn these off completely...

Does anyone know how to convert movies so that I can play them back via usb on this avh 291bt .
The 291BT plays back MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, AVI/DivX and WMV video files. If your movies aren't in any of those formats try some video conversion software.
To watch videos you need
1 - green wire on the body of the apparatus itself
2 - to format the flash drive in fat32 or simply to FAT with the smallest cluster size
it needs to be done so that when reading the video there are no delays and no brakes
3 - reads without problems AVI format the maximum number of frames per second 30, the maximum resolution is 720 by 480, the best resolution for filling the entire 'screen is 640 by 360, for downloaded clips from UA-cam it's the most !!! (it's unforgettable that you need to recode the downloaded clip into AVI format)
4 - for watching movies, we simply download from the torrent or from where either a movie in AVI format with sizes up to 2 gigabytes, and do not re-encode anything! the device immediately picks up them, and the resolution and quality of the video in the movies with these characteristics for this screen is more than enough

Hello. I would ask something. I have Pioneer AVH-290BT, but i've notice that with usb stick it gliches sometimes and the usb disconnect, saying No Device. Is it my multimedia fault or is something with the usb stick? I've tryed 2 usb sticks. One 32 gb and one 8 gb. Same problem.
What types of files are you trying to play?
@@Qualitymobilevideo Mp3 and videos - .divx. My flash stick is formated to FAT32.
How many GB is the flash drive? Either the USB has too high of storage for compatibility with the stereo, or the thumb drive is damaged. MP3 and AVI/DivX should work
@@Qualitymobilevideo iIt's 8gb. I've notice that when it's hot, it does that more often. This happens only when i listen from USB. I dont have any problems with radio or phone.
