What's a converter?
It would be awesome for a top-of-the-line version to come out that has a modern UI (because this one is pretty outdated looking), and CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. This would be a killer
This is probably the most badass head unit I've ever seen. I'll keep my eye on this one.
I got one in my 96 caprice and it's been going since I got it bout a year ago or so.

Looks absolutely spectacular. The only unfortunate problem I am seeing in this live video demo, is, it is very obvious that this manufacturer did not install enough RAM. I can see the GPS system is lagging due to being insufficient RAM.

Almost perfect. HD Radio and satellite radio would have sold me.
Replaced my expensive kenwood with this unit works great very fast and reliable tested it and worked it over good. Way better than my kenwood nav system. Picking up another one for the truck.

I can imagine the use of this if it were running on Android it would be pretty useful especially for extra gauges etc.

This stereo is definitely a 👀 eye grabber.. since i got it for my truck people can't stop asking about it.. even if it goes bad in 1 or 2 years, is why i got the 3 year protection plan, and by then who knows maybe something better will come out... it always does... so I'll just enjoy it meanwhile..

this thing so far is a success you can bet your ass its gonna get copied by high dollar brands but they will have to figure some way to sell it 800$ plus i want it just for the nav and its 4volt clean signal those two thing alone is a 1000 for other decks

I hate to say it but that screen is nice. Good job testing the pre outs & clipping points on the radio..... BTW when's the last time James got tested? We all know his improved hair cut got his lady count up!

sleeper10s yeah its a nice screen but these companies always add a bunch of useless crap like that clothes deal. Why not just leave that out & upgrade the equalizer. But it is a very nice screen.

So why didn't you show anything about playing music from SD? Does it display album art? How big of an SD can I use? Many of us have way more than 32gb of flac files.

SOLD! Their is nothing wrong with my Pioneer double din AVH 8500, but I do use 2 screens, that plus my tablet, search (VR6 noise walk around and drive) for a lil glimpse. This will make my inside look sharper n cleaner

So you did a test at 13.4 volts. Do u know that the average voltage of a car is 14 volts and the best peak is 14.4. I think 13.4 is the low end of that test. Would like to see u go to 14.4 and see if u have same results
Next up in the future a 12" screen like in the 5th generation RAM trucks made by Dual, Kenwood, Boss, Pioneer, etc.

They're saying 17,000 opening and closing cycles. Keep it clean and don't open and close it every time you get in the car and you should be able to get at least 5-7 years or better.

Looks cool, til you factor in the fact that all of soundstream's (maxxsonics) previous screens were crape and typically stopped working properly within 3mo-12mo

Hey boss would this fit a 2008 bmw 335i without idrive the stereo is like half an inch deep under the climate vents i am curious to know how far out the unit is and how far from the double din adapter the top screen goes, i dont want to buy the product and then not be able to open the top screen.. thanks
