Can't stop watching this series.
The Painted Rock Canoe Shop... love it!
Agreed!
Enjoying following along guys. Great job.
Thanks 👍
So true Mark the north part of the park is my favorite area. Looks like you guys are having an excellent trip. Loving the series. Thanks so much Matt for getting this up on UA-cam
Can't agree with you more. The north end is an amazing place! Glad you're enjoying the series Chris. The next episode will be a good one!
I sure hope someone had a wee dram of whiskey tucked away to enjoy with those cigars by the fire!! Could life get any better?
There was some there don't worry!
Pretty cool stuff here fellas. Mark is a real character and Matt , your personality really started to shine through in this one , especially when you got cooking the jambalaya.
Thanks for watching! I think you mean Iain 😉
Just came across this channel. Great stuff! That root cellar might be a trapper shack perhaps? 🤔
Thanks for watching! Lots of old cellars like that scattered around the park. Definitely from a bygone era.
Great Episode Matt... I'd love to get up to that area... Dennis Canoehound Adventures
It's beautiful Dennis. You always feel alone in a big place on those lakes.
That was a cool shot with two different birds in the same frame of him flying through it it was sweet
We couldn’t have planned it any better!
Another great episode guys, looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks Paul!
Thank you very much for telling me what the thunder box is like I asked another bushcraft or what is it thank you very much
I'm really enjoying this series. Thanks! Could you let us know what the make and model of that tent is, please?
Thanks! Mark's tent is the MEC Volt 3. MEC has discontinued the Volt series and just replaced it with the AMP series.
Dumb question: what was that howl at 3:45? It repeated a few times.
That would be a loon call. It was off on the other side of the lake waiting for a call back all morning
I definitely want to make a comment in regarding the cricket noises and frogs it was actually so high-pitched that I had to turn down my volume or block where the volume comes out on on my cell phone cuz that's what I watch you on. I am not sure if the cameraman can change that but it would be good so people doesn't have to turn it down and have it be distracting from what you're trying to show us
Thank you for letting us know. We will keep that in mind for the next project!
Have you stayed on Burntroot? How did you get there? Enjoy day 2 of the trip! Check out Mark's website www.markinthepark.com for trip logs and his own guiding service. Special thanks to Algonquin Outfitters, Ontario Parks and Unlostify Maps for their support!
Excellent footage, music and cinematography, but the fireside chat, which is 30 percent of the whole video recapping the footage that we just watched, is annoying.
Thanks Don! We recognize that and will make changes for the future.
