There should be an urban legend: there’s an invisible bridge but it only works if you have at least 100,000 runes on you
If the internet weren’t a thing, gaming urban legends would be more prominent.
@@borginburkes1819 we called that the 80s.
Bro no 😂
100,000 runes ain't much, it costs me 130k just to level up one time
100k runes I nothing lmao
This is easier to do at night because the sun doesn't blind you from seeing the snow landing on the invisible bridge. At least that's how it was for me.
Thats prob how u suppose to do it
I killed myself 30 times in hopes of making a bloodstain trail up the invisible ramp. You're welcome.
Actually the Urd tree torch reveals anything invisible including enemies.

That message issue really does need to be fixed. There's no logical reason to disable the player from attacking just to display text at the bottom of the screen. Pulling levers in dungeons has almost gotten me killed because of this.
Yes. I always stand in place or take a pee break because I’ve had a message disable me for nearly a minute before…
@@GangStalker17 just press Y you absolute pea-brain

trueee but i just find it makes for funny moments
Elden ring not letting you attack with a small message on screen is one of the biggest oversights ever to happen in game design
I just can't believe they'd have an "oversight" that silly and obvious. For that reason I believe it's completely intentional.
@@wholesalewhale not really. For as good as they are,all Souls games have always been a glitchy mess of minor bugs and odd design choices. It's likethe hitbox jank a lot of the games have. last 4 seconds of the video : EXACTLY ! How often I died because of that. Message popping on the screen prevent you from attacking. This is especially annoying in dungeons after you trigger a mechanism, a message would pop up saying a door as open but the message remain on screen until you press X. If you get attacked at the same time, you won't be able to fight.
It’s even more annoying when it’s placed right next to a ladder that you’re trying to climb whilst rushing through an area being followed by 10 enemies

yeah its horrible, the first few times I just didnt bother to press ok on it, because I thought like any other normal game, the message would fade away after some time, but nope, not in this game, you cant do anything if you dont make it go away yourself, and it happens at the worst times too.
Big true.
Honestly for all the cachet and renown FromSoftware & Elden Ring get these days... the reality can be a slow, merciless, joyless experience. I never feel like I've "learned and grown and overcome obstacles" by having to account for my player's stunted movement over and over again. -the unavoidable death traps everywhere, getting massacred 50 times by one boss just to say "I got him" that 51st time... that cachet falls away so fast when I actually play and try to suffer through their games because "SO GOOD, RIGHT? THE ART STYLE THOUGH."
Instead I feel emotionally battered and exhausted. All that superior character and level design and LORE isn't worth a cent to me if I'm mentally numb and emotionally abused from sloshing through Blighttown at 10fps for 2 hrs. straight.
"Challenging" doesn't always align with "good" or "enjoyable", and if you go to games to enjoy yourself there are plenty more satisfyingly challenging games out there with better U.I. and effective controls.
Its way easier to see the path at night.
Asmongold's facial expressions are my go-to sources of fun on a dull workday. Cheers!
He looks like he's always Amazed by Everything lol
somebody has to tell him, simply press "sneak button" to dismount
they need to fix the message thing. that's been broken since the patch. Same shit happens when you use a swordstone key or try and open a door that is locked
And that is why you use glowstones ladies and gentlemen. Best way to chart out an invisible pathway, just like good ol' Dark Souls 1!
nah, just use a torch or lantern here
@@Aggrofool I forget but there is a torch that shows invisible pathways, yes? Or maybe I'm thinking of something else

man, they should really bring back more invisible bridges. Like DS1 crystal cave. That was fun.

Please tell me you are kidding. Those bridges present no challenge, simply there to be annoying or rely on prior knowledge. Hope they don't bring those back ever again.
@@vladi1Z git gud
@@vladi1Z the problem was that there was like 10 minutes worth of travel time to get to the damn bridge, if the invisible bridge is close to the bonfire then it's fine and could be pretty fun, the way that it was in DS1 was just bullshit, you always get it in first try on subsequent replays, but for the first time it was just text-book definition of bullshit on top of being in the bullshit full of slippery bridges area already.
There's at least one other invisible bridge that I found in ER but its probably covered in messages now.
Those goddamn messages locking out the attack buttons has screwed me so many times.
rainbow stones : why we still here just to suffer
Because they are finite and noone even looks at finite consumables in rpgs
To be fair that message does keep you from attacking. Same thing happens to me and it’s frustrating.
Glad to see Asmon and McConnell as a duo again!!!
First time he died someone said " So blind" in chat LMAO
I am almost 200 hours in my first playthrough and am still finding new locations or secret doors to cool loot. And now I find out there is an invisible bridge? Elden Ring 😭 is just amazing
Those little whirly bird things are really dangerous when they start freaking out, hitting 5 times per second in all directions
They look like fodder, but I get real serious when I see them
they are "avionettes", marionettes with wings. all the marrionette enemies can have malfunctions, which usually result in them spinning around wildly on the ground or in some cases in the air or standing
Same thing happened to me here message popped up when I walked into the rise and I got slapped around 🙃

You can actually spam Y/triangle to get rid of any messages that pop up. Sure, it takes a moment to do that, but it's saved me in many situations.
A moment is how long it takes to stunlock you and kill you dude. The issue need to be patch. There is no reason why messages should lock you out of attacking, rolling, parrying
Isn't there a torch in the game to help with invisible stuff like this? I rememeber buying a little info page from a merchant that was about invisible assassin or something but that the torch helped light all invisible thing in the game
There’s a merchant north of the capital who sells that torch, though I don’t know if it works for the bridge.
Interesting - will have to try that

This kind of message with enemy is really annoying, I don't know why they don't patch that, that's clearly an easy task. When you know you spam to skip but sometime you don't see it and you are just asking why you can't attack or block.
For real if it would pop out more it wouldn’t be a problem but this shit is almost invisible. And sometimes you just overlook it and then can’t do shit and die.

It took me so long to find this, I played offline mode on ps5 and nothing hinted that there were a bridge there.
Oooooh nothing hinted ooooh. I had to watch Assmongo and wussie Mcdegen, otherwise i am unable to wipe my ass after shitting my pants oooh.
There is an obvious clue at the front of the tower saying something like the snow will show you the safe path or something. Implying it’s impossible to see unless it’s snowing… meaning an invisible path. Then if you look around the tower carefully you will see where a bridge once was forcing you to check the other end of the bridge. You will then begin to see the snow landing on a hidden path and if you follow it then tada.
@@wildwolf4268 snow doesn't actually doesn't land on the bridge.

That bug is so annoying where the message pops up and doesn't go away so u can't roll/spring/attack it's actually cancer.
It's a relatively minor issue, but I wish Fromsoft would just add in a simple option in the menu to be able to completely turn on or turn off messages from other players. Either that or they need to put a barrier a few feet around interactable objects so that players can't put messages literally on top of or right in front of the object to troll others and get them killed. Being blocked from using a site of grace or having a lever/door/chest blocked by some troll's message is so ridiculously annoying and infuriating that it doesn't make any sense why there isn't an option to be able to turn off messages in settings. Just like the people who invade just to troll you and run around aggroing annoying mobs or they literally hide from you until you're in the middle of fighting something, it really feels like Fromsoft is doing nothing to stop the completely stakeless trolling that widely occurs to people who are simply trying to play the game alone or with a friend. If i'm playing co-op, I want to be able to completely turn on or turn off being invaded, and I'm sick and tired of being trolled by assholes who put a message right in front of EVERY. SINGLE. interactable object in the game world and being completely unable to do anything about it.
i can understand the message thing but isn't there a blocking of players messages function already in the game if you block the player in multiplayer? Also to the invasion point no if your doing coop your having an advantage solo players don't get so invasions are there to balance it out. PVP is the unbalanced part that makes invasions less rewarding for both sides with late game talismans giving huge buffs to players.
If your issue is about the messages, playing offline mode turns that off. With coop invasions, you're out of luck. I mean, it should be at worst a 2v1 so shouldn't really be much of a problem
Unless I'm mistaken and it's different for interactable objects ... doesn't the game allow you to use left or right on the D-pad to switch between things that you want to press triangle or Y for, so if there's bloodstaines or multiple messages, you can switch to the one you want to interact with.
I agree with this, though i'd say if the Invader can always tell where the Host is, then the host should always know where the invader is. It's pretty annoying when the invader simply stalls. and quitting only gets you banned.
Ok but he wasn't talking about the player messages, he was talking about the "The seal on the rise opened" message. Thats what got him killed.
'Because that message popped up and I couldn't attack because of that message' - oh we've all been there XD
I love the Souls games, but maaaaaan some of their game design choices are suuuper frustrating. Why put a message right there that prevents you from attacking the NUMEROUS enemies swarming you?
It happens in every Souls game and it gets frustrating real quick.
Why do such messages prevent you from doing anything you normally can do in the first place? That's a dumb idea no matter how you look at it.
Chill it's a player message not the game don't bitch the game without knowing anything.
@@Omega77232 It is a game message though lol
@@MrRavellon Exactly!
I don't see your point, my friend. It doesn't matter if it's a game message or a player message, the point is that it was programmed to prevent the player from performing certain actions when the message is up. Elden Ring is not the only game stuff like this has happened in.
