- Yes, I really. I flew 6,000 miles for Nasi Lemak to aid my addiction to Malaysia food. After travelling and working remotely for nearly 5 years, Malaysian food is some of the most delicious food out there and flying to find Nasi Lemak while in Athens was a challenge.

i love nasi lemak!
Think you can still find nasi lemak in Indonesian or Malaysian restaurants in the Nederland's, Darren 👌👌
My mom's nasi lemak is the best im telling you.
@@izzad777 humour her to make it and invite Darren to taste that best nasi lemak...I'm sure it must taste 👍👍
Did you say anchovie....😮😐😶
I get it. I’d travel 6000k miles for Nasi Lemak too!
LOL, glad you get it, not many do!
Amazing! 6000k miles! Didn’t know foreigners can be so addicted to nasi lemak too.
Wow
Google the best Nasi Lemak in Malaysia and eat till u drop to compensate your flight ticket loss! Haha
I think nasi lemak quite easily found in london n california / new york. But im sure you guys miss the city too... hihiho
Just make Malaysia your 2nd home. We already love you and you're always welcome here.😊
Hah it certainly feels like my 2nd home! I've visited Malaysia more than any other country.
All the warm hospitable Malaysians with a guest room to spare...can always invite him over for a week here or there... Backpackers usually just need a bed and a shower as they're mostly on the roads👌😄🤭
@@IreneMy Haha Im not a backpacker, I work 40 hours a week and travel, so, need my own space but yes, Malaysians are great hosts!
@@remotedarren 🤭 I was presumptuous to be generalising, Darren. And yes, I totally agree with you on that having own space 👌👌matter.... I will surely feel suffocating if my hosts were to hover and fuss over me... 😄😄😅

Its a malay food, not a malaysian food. Lolz
@@akidsyakir3348 please it's our food. Malaysians.
@@akidsyakir3348 By your logic, Malays aren't Malaysians?
@@babicomel2469 A Malay not necessary is a Malaysian. There are Malays in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Phillipines and many more. Just like there are Chinese in Malaysia, Singapore and they arent from China.
Thought you were joking when you said you are addicted to nasi lemak.
I was thinking you missed Malaysia more than anything else. Anyway, it’s kind of authentic that nasi lemak brought you back to Malaysia. 👍
Haha, I missed both to be honest!
Welcome home,my friend. Wait till you try Nasi Dagang and Nasi Kerabu in the East Coast. You will assuredly love them.👍😊
Mmmhm yes! I actually saw both of those dishes at a food place in KL, so maybe I'll get a taster before heading to the east coast.
@@remotedarren if you love nasi lemak, you will definitely love nasi dagang & kerabu.. Enjoy your stay and welcome back! 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
@@remotedarren Must try dishes in the east coast! I moved to the east coast for a few years before and I ditched nasi lemak for nasi kerabu for my breakfast lol I even gained A LOT when living in the east coast. The food variety there is on the whole new level 😂

Welcome home Darren! The nasi lemak obsession at its best! btw since you're in KL for the time being, why not take some chance for a meet & greet session with your subscribers? Maybe at the KLCC park?
Hey, thanks, I might do that, will see. I'm a bit of an introvert, but would be good to organise something, we'll see.

Nasi lemak is one of the best ... BREAKFAST !
Im from Germany and I've been to Malaysia 3 years ago due to working purposes. I stayed at an apartment near a mall in Kuala Lumpur and there are a few Malaysian restaurant or "mamak" aswell. I suggest you try out a dish similar to the nasi lemak but the rice is a bit sour and is served with a very delicious fish curry ( I forgot the name). I made a few malaysian work friends while I was in Malaysia. They are very friendly with me and they took me out drinking at a local bar after work sometimes!
If you do go to the East Coast (Kelantan & Terengganu) , you can try the famous Nasi Kerabu & Nasi Dagang if you haven't already.....
It's on my list to eat, for sure!
Try Nasi Minyak too..i bet u'll love it
Well done Darren, I had a friend from Scotland n will visit Malaysia every year for 30 years untill she die just to escape from winter season from November to March. She just can't stop coming back for friends here. You should try many more local delicacies n make more friend here.
