    I would recommend a word change on the t-shirt to check instead of recharge because people will assume the check will be done as a matter of best practices before any refill is attempted.

    This sounds great. I also make t-shirts, hat's etc. Could make my own. I even do websites, programming etc. Jack of all trades. Hey, maybe add a quick vacuuming and car wash for $30.00. Buy a portable pump and bring water. Thanks for your videos. You can team up with a screen printer to buy and sell t-shirts, hat's etc.

    You ever run into a hole in the hose, that prevents charge up? Surely you'd replace hose then right?

    I thought about refilling AC a while back so that should work perfectly.
    What if you cannot recharge and temperature does not get colder due to leak or other issues?
    Do we need a vacuum pump if you had ever used it?
    In case of leak, an owner should go to see an AC specialist to fix the leak.
    If I want to start, I just want to do minor recharge or freon top-off service should be easy to start and does not require more time, diagnostics, and equipments. Will not worry about leak or anything. I already bought a Pittsburg Manifold, and vaccuum pump(which I might not need)..
    I don't want to get into recharge empty system that requires vacuuming and add compress oil which take time and might involve leak or other things.

    • @ScreenPrintR
      @ScreenPrintR Рік тому

      You only need the vacuum pump to pull out the old refrigerant right? Carry a spare can to vacuum old air into. I had my late care fixed for like $250. Tried replacing the compressor myself. Bought it online. What a mistake that was. They sent the wrong compressor and condenser/heater. Oh, my cooling van didn't work either, but when I connected it directly it worked. So something wasn't turning it on. More than likely it was the wiring from the Compressor to the cooling fan. Bought my gauges on Amazon, Yellow Jacket, also bought a leak detector. Already own a temp gun, and manual meter gauge. Anyone want to pay for my License and I'll make you two t-shirts any size?

      It’s always good to have a family member help you show us how it’s done out in the field, he doing everything he can to keep from laughing! Nevertheless great video, but I would suggest before you open the suction side after you hook up the yellow line and open the yellow line that you bleed the air out first

    What are you going to do when you get a car that uses R1234?How do you know how much you put into the system without using a scale?

    • @Itssuperdave
      @Itssuperdave  Рік тому +2

      You can go by low side and high side pressures. You would have to refer to a pressure chart for the type of refrigerant the vehicle uses. You don’t have to know how much you put in you just have to get the pressures where they should be for a fully charged system and it depends on the outside air temperature.

      @@shawnwilliams6638 Yes they can Shawn, but many people don't know anything about cars. They know how to start the car, drive (poorly at that) and that's it. Hate to say this, but you could say, If you mess it up you'll have to pay hundreds if not thousands to repair it.

    • @Itssuperdave
      @Itssuperdave  Рік тому +1

      If you put too much refrigerant in that could be a possibility, but the safety feature of the high-pressure switch will cut off the compressor and not let it run if the system is overcharged.

    • @Itssuperdave

      Cost for certification is only $50 from ASE. This certification could be needed to purchase refrigerant, depending on what refrigerant you are buying. This certification is needed if you are repairing AC systems, but not if you are re-charging them. There is no minimum experience to start this business.
