I began my investment journey at the age of 33, primarily through hard work and dedication. Now at the age of 58, I am thrilled to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single month for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advice mentioned earlier. It is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity.

Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.

I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.

Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

Achieving financial success doesn’t happen overnight. While it often seems like others have it all figured out, there’s usually a lot of hard work behind the scenes. Fear can be a major obstacle, preventing us from taking the bold steps necessary to reach our goals. Inflation depreciates idle money. I'm in a privileged position to be able to save almost 65% of our net household income, as I placed it on safer investments. The key for us was not spending beyond our means. If you invest and have other sources of income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends. Got north of $200K in my portfolio as I bought a lot of dividend stocks before, I'm buying more now, and I will buy more when it drops further

The main problem is that most folks don’t care about anything other than football, Basketball and Music etc. They find it normal to take credit card debt which will cost them 20percent per year but considers it risky to invest their money and make 10percent or more per month. Learning to avoid high interest debt while also learning how to put your money to work for you by investing is a very powerful combo

I wouldn’t listen to what these other people told you, they may know what they’re talking about are not giving you good advice. If you aren’t investing for retirement and are looking to day trade, there are tons of videos on UA-cam to help you get starts and put yourself in a good position. However, if retirement is what you’re investing for, I would look into low risk index funds which cover a very broad market, these have consistently shown to give investors a return on their money year over year, there are many different index funds to choose from so you should put a little research into this before you get started. With the current state of the market, you should only be investing money that you don’t plan on needing for the next 10-20 years because within that time period, if you are regularly buying shares of index funds you are almost guaranteed to see a return on your investment. If you plan to invest for the future, now is actually an incredible opportunity to get started investing. It may suck to see you investments lose money in the short term, but if you stick it out for the long run, this investment strategy has a very high likelihood of growing the money you started with. Hope this helps and best of luck!

Great side hustle tips. One point though regarding the review videos; please don't encourage people to buy items (especially from small businesses selling on Amazon) just to review and return them. From a small business owner's perspective, it ends up costing us money because the profit margins are usually thin. We have to cover shipping to and from the customer and then we end up with a product we can't resell. You are basically taking money out of a small business owners pocket and they have no recourse. I never knew this until I saw the business side of things.

My belief is that making a wise investment is a fantastic way to save money for the future as well as a way to generate passive income. Those who make poor mistakes early in life regret them later in life. But, if done alone, investing may be challenging and risky. For this reason, I suggest consulting experts for advice (financial advisors). The difficulty lies in effectively employing it, not just watching videos and reading investing books.

Credit score is not something used in all countries though. In France, they determine if you are eligible to get a loan (e.g., to buy a house) based on the ratio between your salary, your expenses and your savings. Basically, if every month you 'burn' all your money, you're perceived as riskier than someone earning less but consistently making deposits to a saving account. I feel in the US people tend to buy things they don't need with money they don't have... The only times I feel one should need a credit is when buying 'big' things (house, car, etc.). Not for a TV. On etoro you can copy other investors. You can put in a certain amount, and you will copy any of their trades with the same % with what you had added. The current minimum trade you can copy is $2 so you need to put in around $600 to copy all of a person's trades. Has anyone tried this? What are the fees like? It seems like a good way to copy someone who has time to do DD on stocks, crypto etc.

It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. More emphasis should be put into day tradiing as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. It is important for beginners in trading and investing to understand that success in these fields requires more than just technical analysis. Emotional maturity and self-discipline are equally important, as they enable traders to make rational decisions even during periods of market volatility. This means that consistently investing over a long period of time is generally more effective than trying to time the market by buying and selling based on short-term market fluctuations. Learning is crucial for success in trading and investing. Keeping up with current trends and strategies can help traders stay ahead of the curve and make informed decisions. The moment I became toppay, I started getting laid off from jobs after a few months or so then sitting out of work for months until the next one. The union is dying, at least in NYC and surrounding areas. They have introduced a pay scale for carpenters where a LOT of us are making a fraction of what we should be making. I wouldnt do it, as someone who went through the whole process, graduated and is now an out of work Journeyman. I would suggest switching to the Electricians Apprenticeship. They make a lot less comparing apprenticeship wages and their schooling is much more strenuous than the carpenters, but they stay employed, make a little more as a journeyman and dont have the "push" on the jobsites that carpenters have. They are treated as humans, carpenters are treated like slaves, unless you are related to one of the higher-ups.
