I hope the zora can find a way to tweak the engine, turbos, cooling, and maybe even the electric motor so that it could get closer to 1,300 horsepower. Either way, if the Zora comes out, it’ll be a full blown hyper car!
People often say the best car era was the 60s. I would argue we're in the best car era right now with manufacturers producing these amazing vehicles, both on the ICE and EV sides. I don't think there will ever be another era like this when manufacturers are going all out crazy with the end of big engines coming near. Love it!
The Corvette team was held back for so many decades and did a great job on front mounted... not my taste in design, especially the interior, but the engineering has ALWAYS been impressive as hell, especially price/performance. The physics to go over 200mph is just nuts.

Which still means I'm correct regardless of how you want to look at it. GM has some of the best chassis tuning in the world where they can get heavier vehicles to handle brilliantly. Also note I didn't say to make the Camaro as quick as the AMG black series. I said to make it as quick as the C7. Which shouldn't be a difficult task now that they have the C8 out. Only problem is commitment to produce such a vehicle.

Incredible car however your top speed test reminded me of the CT5V Blackwing test. With only 668 hp and 4 doors, it will do 200 mph. The Vette has 400 more hp and all of that extra technology, aerodynamics, intercoolers, etc. and it will only go 15 more mph?
The car that Lockheed would build if they were in the car biz... only thing that is missing is stealth mode / cladding to avoid those pesky speed traps.

Maybe you should have better comprehension skills. The engine is still placed in front of the cab. I didn't say anything against the mid engine layout. Which still means I'm correct regardless of how you want to look at it. GM has some of the best chassis tuning in the world where they can get heavier vehicles to handle brilliantly. Also note I didn't say to make the Camaro as quick as the AMG black series. I said to make it as quick as the C7. Which shouldn't be a difficult task now that they have the C8 out. Only problem is commitment to produce such a vehicle.

Incredible car however your top speed test reminded me of the CT5V Blackwing test. With only 668 hp and 4 doors, it will do 200 mph. The Vette has 400 more hp and all of that extra technology, aerodynamics, intercoolers, etc. and it will only go 15 more mph?
The car that Lockheed would build if they were in the car biz... only thing that is missing is stealth mode / cladding to avoid those pesky speed traps.

Amazing! What a masterpiece. I feel lucky to live in an age where a Corvette breaks the 1000 hp mark. It'd be a bucket list moment to drive this on the Nurburgring, Le Mans, or Isle of Man (or all 3).

The Heart Beat of America..The insane Tech and capabilities for the 2025 ZR1 is literally a barn burner. I look forward to it Smoking the Competition on track and off! With an insanely 1064 Ho and 824 TQ this is a Beast. The top speed run was incredibly fast to 207. Can't wait to see it in person. It has to be something very amazing to see. With all the aero and architecture the dive planes carbon fiber bits and pieces and that sound. Which you guys should have done an up close shot of! Chevy Corvette ZR1 is a big time winner! Know it's time to shut up all the critic's. Which they do every time. Am betting the Cost to be $180,000 starting and topping out at $230,000.
