How does Soft beige in this foundation compare to the Shade Ivory you have in the new Sisley phto-blanc cushion foundation? is one slightly darker than other? The ivory cushion is just a tad to dark for me and I'm now ordering this foundation.
Hi Abby, this foundation looks beautiful on you! So far, everyone that I have seen wearing it and providing reviews really love it. I expect that from Sisley. I may get this one eventually since I have too many foundations on hand, including my fav's - Sisleya Le Teint, and La Mer Soft Fluid. I am so excited for you and Michele getting to collab together. I love you both! You asked me the other day about my favorite tinted moisturizers and sunscreens. For Tinted moisturizers - I love the La Mer Reparative tinted moisturizer, I believe they were going to discontinue it, but I did see it recently on the Nordtrom and Neiman Marcus website's so I don't know. I really enjoy the Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer, and Erborian makes a CC creme, that comes out white and adjusts to your skin color. I really do like it. I purchased the Sisley tinted sunscreen, but I haven't tried it yet - Michele really loves it (but you probably already know that). Sisley also makes a tinted moisturizer, but I haven't tried that yet either. I know there are a few other ones, but I can't remember them right now, so I must not have used them in a while. I don't recall if I've used tinted suncreens, I have tried so many products that it's difficult to remember all of them 😳.

Great foundation video, your skin looks beautiful and natural with that on. I will give it a try, it is expensive but I’ve tried LaMer so it’s not too much of a shock. If expensive foundations help our older skin look more youthful I’ll pay the price.

Two of my favorite UA-camrs collabing on a foundation release from one of my favorite brands! I went by the counter last night and bought this. I'm wearing it today, and I agree with you and Michele - it is lovely! I also bought Soft Beige. I almost bought Sand, but I'll be losing my tan soon. Luckily, Soft Beige seems to be working for my skin tone!
Ashlyn- I almost bought SAND too- but it was just a tad too dark and the Soft Beige seems to be working for all of us! YAY!!!

Hi there! New to your channel ~ Michelle sent me over as well. Loving your channel and happy to catch up on all yours. Abby what’s your suggestion for a light natural foundation? I like the no makeup -make up look. I bought the Chanel water tint foundation and it’s truly beautiful. Like u are wearing nothing. I’d love to hear what else u would suggest - which is a light coverage. I have very fair skin - I’m a red head with sensitive - normal to dry mature skin but in very good condition. Do you love the New Chanel CC cream? Thank you. Xx
The Chanel CC actually has some nice coverage but does not look like it on it the skin. The Kosas Tinted Oil foundation also has a nice skin-like foundation. I tend to like more medium coverage due to some hyperpigmentation but LOVE the Chanel Eau de Teint!! It makes your skin look angelic. xoxo
Abby- it sounds very similar to the Tom Ford Soleil Foundation which I have been wearing a lot this summer. Other than the skincare element in the Sisley- how do they compare? Thanks! XOXO
Marjorie- that is a great question! The Soleil has SPF versus the Phyto-Eclat and I think the Soliel is glowier! This is a nice radiant but not overly radiant foundation and feels like nothing on the skin. The Soleil also has more coverage than the Sisley- but you can build it up without it being cakey and I would say the Sisley has some major staying power if you need a long-wear foundation. I hope this helps. xoxo

Abby I need your true honest advice. I’ve been watching so MANY reviews & I’m struggling to find a great foundation for me. I have normal to dry combination skin. My t zone gets only a little only at times but mainly in the Summer months here in Florida. I don’t like full coverage foundations. I don’t have any acne scars on my face or blemishes. I want a perfected natural look with a little bit of a glow finish foundation. Of the new Sisley, Guerlain or Surratt dew drop foundations, which do you feel would work best for me? I am also fair skinned with more yellow tones to my skin. I truly value your opinion & look for to your advice. Can you let me know as soon as possible? I need to find one SOON. Thank you!! 😊🙏🏼💗
Cindy- because of where you live - I would first go for the Sisley because I think it will be light coverage but is fantastic for warmer more humid climates - with the caveat that the shade range is tough! My second choice and basically tied for first is the Surratt Dew Drops. I just love- love- love both of these foundations and think you might have better luck finding match of the Surratt but definitely at least try getting matched in the Sisley. The Guerlain is great - but I find it even a bit glowy for my dry skin and relatively mild climate here in the Pacific NW. So I would say try Sisley or Surratt first! I hope this helps. xoxo
Abby Bliss White Thank you so much!!! Yes it definitely helps a lot. Do you feel any of these would cause issues with the slight fragrance scent they have? That was another concern of mine. If it’s subtle it usually isn’t a problem for me.
Abby Bliss White I’m almost ready to purchase this Sisley foundation. I’m just a little concerned about the gardenia in it. I wish I knew if it is a very little amount. I read online that gardenia can irritate the skin. I tried to see where it is on it’s list of ingredients, but online it doesn’t show it on the box. Can you tell me if it’s near the bottom of the ingredients listed on your box/bottle you have? Thank you so much. Appreciate your help. It’s over $100 with tax here, so I need to be sure it won’t be a problem.
@@cindypowell6358 you will want to smell the Sisley first. It definitely has a botanical scent - gardenia flowers - and could be upsetting to some. So far I have not had issues but definitely love that the Surratt has NO FRAGRANCE.
Abby Bliss White I have no way of smelling it unfortunately as it’s not in any of the stores near me. I was going to order it online through Neiman Marcus. You definitely get more for your money with the Sisley than you do in the Surratt, as that is a smaller size. None of these 2 are in the stores here near me. It’s a guessing game. Sorry to ask you so many questions, just trying to pick the right one for me. The NARS sheer glow is too drying on me right now.

Love Michele also and that is how I found you. Your skin looked so good before you put the foundation on by the way. Did the fragrance linger or disappear once on? I just wish all these companies would skip the fragrances. It limits my choices. Do you like this one more then the Querlain you just reviewed?
Forgot to ask which Glow Bronzer do you wear..the matt or the shimmer?
Jill- the scent is very herbal/botanical and the scent does dissipate pretty quickly. I totally agree! There are so many formulations that I love but they get a star marked off due to fragrance. I have to be careful and some irritate my skin and others don't. WEIRD. I just don't think it enhances the product. I know for some they are masking the sunscreen smell but truly wish they did not put it in. I will do a side by side comparison for you because they are SIMILAR. xoxo

I did not find it to turn into pink tones. It seemed more neutral to me and I actually think it might be one of my better matches. I have both pink and golden undertones and this just worked well. I hope this helps. xoxo

Nordstrom rep told me today that Soft Beige has more pink in it.....she recommended Sand for me for a neutral/warm leaning. What do you think? :)
Donna- that is true. I tend to like more NEUTRAL foundations but the Sand was a bit too warm/peachy for me. The Soft beige is not perfect but works. I probably need to mix both. LOL!

If YOU feel the Sand is too warm/peachy that gives me a visual that helps me know it would probably not work for me either. Will stick with the Soft Beige as you and Michele did. I seem to be able to follow your lead on colors pretty closely. Thanks so much! :)

I just can't get this foundation to work for me :( it just sits on the skin and makes it look dry. I tried using less and more, tried fingers, brushes, beauty blender, etc. The only thing that helps a tiny bit is mixing it in with a bit of face oil before applying.
Oh Bummer! It may be the oil-free formula is not great for you. I was worried that it would be drying on my skin but somehow it works. So sorry about this and glad that you found a solution that works. I think it is fine to add a drop of oil and I bet this makes this foundation super pretty. xoxo

They changed colour palet a lot. Soft beige is now so dark, I was like orange after applying it (I didnt know about that change when I bought product). After that I bought Ivory, that is a bit lighter but still darker and more yellowish that previous soft beige. I'm so disappointed, because I cannot find the colour that fits my skin tone. In cosmetic shops there aren't available brighter colours (they usuly have just 1/3 of whole pallet). I dont understand why woud anyone think that total change in colour pallet was a good idea. Big 👎 from me
