Abby I’m recovering from months of chemo/radiotherapy and watching your enthusiasm and bubbly personality makes me smile every time I watch a new video. Thank you!
Oh Annuk03- I am so glad you are in recovery mode and that I could help you smile through this tough time. Sending you a HUG! xoxo
annuk03 sending you strength I hope you’re soon feel a whole lot better. 🙏🏻
Sending positive energy for your recovery. I finished my chemo 4.5 years ago. I completely relate. Do things that make you feel better...this is great!
Aw. Hugs and love. Even tho o don’t know you , My bro n law and sis n law have gone thru it. I admire your strength. Remember you are beautiful!!
Thank you everyone. I’m touched by the lovely messages. What a lovely channel we have here. Blessings to you all
Oh my goodness they are both beautiful! I already have the Guerlain but I will probably get the Sisley as well! They both wore well and the shade match was good on both! Thank you so much for doing this side by side review!! I am always up for a foundation review, especially for dry, aging skin!!
You have no idea how much this helps me!!! I’ve been undecided between those two. Thank you sooo much ❤️
Girl, you make any foundation look good. If I had to pick, I would say Sisley. The concealer looks great too. 😉😍
Mandy- you are WAY to sweet and I was trying the concealer technique you were sharing with you-- but think I need to use a little fluffier brush like you said. THANK YOU!! xoxo
Both are beautiful on you, but I prefer the Sisley side. It's so smooth and looks like you just have incredible skin!
Thank you Ashlyn!! xoxo
Thank you so much for this video! I have the Guerlain and am definitely enjoying it but the Sisley has been intriguing me! I think the Sisley looks more smoothing on you! Both look great though! Beautiful!
This review is greatly appreciated and brings up my thirty-five year plea for an international shade guide (I think with AI, we may not be far away)! Picking a shade online by description is so hard! I don’t see how you could be a 1N because I have 0N and 1N Guerlain; and, I am 0 in Sisley. I have to say both looked beautiful on you!!! Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and thorough review!!
Thank you, Abby, for an excellent comparison and review of these two foundations. They both look stunning on you ❤️and your skin looks dewy and radiant. Though it isn’t easy to see the best shade match, I find that on camera they both look good.
Thank you Cristina!! It was funny because when I saw the colors swatched on my arm- I thought Uh-oh- this is going to look weird or bad - but they both are a light to medium coverage so you can get away with either. I think if this was a FULL coverage foundation then - we might have been able to see the difference a little more. Thank you for WATCHING!!!
Both look great! I was wondering what the difference is between the Sisley Phyto Teint Eclat and the Ultra version? Also curious if you think this would work for combo skin. Thank you!
Was looking for reviews on Sisley foundation. Michele and you popped up on top. First watched Michele's video as I was already subscribed to her. She highly recommended you so I popped over, liked what I've seen and subscribed.
Abby, both look great on u. You have the most amazing youthful skin, unbelievably great for 51 years. You are really informative and so friendly on screen. Love alll your videos
Ahh, Thank you PM!!! xoxo
I love the Sisley side better for sure!!! Thank you for so a great review of these foundations!!! 🤗😉🤗👋🏼
Great video Abby! I love both on you!
Ahh! Thank you Erin Nicole for watching my video! This was a tough one for me!!
Yes please a video on the new surratt foundation... oh Abby I m glad I found you 🤗
I am excited about those Dew Drops too! xoxo
You look great in both shades! Guerlain looks dewy whereas Sisley looks matte, not sure if it was due to the lighting. I enjoy using Guerlain's foundation and I'm not bothered about the fragrance as I hardly notice it. Love to see more of such comparison videos. 👍
thank you so much! Exactly the video I wanted to see! and so informative! Great job Abby!!
Oh yay! I am glad this was helpful Valerie! xoxo
Just looked up and saw your shade matches, yep I'm lighter. Thank you thank you thank you for your lovely videos and your warm, delightful style!
Thank you Debbie! I am glad this could help. xoxo
You're lovely and either looks great on you! The Guerlain seems to have more shine to it. For this reason I think I prefer the Sisley.
Hi Abby! Both look gorgeous on you. I might prefer the Guerlain more, only because I currently use the Lingerie De Peau and love it!! xoxo
Thanks! Leaning towards sisely. Appreciate your review!
Great video, Abby! Your skin looks so lovely with both, but I think I slightly prefer the Sisley. Looking forward to your top 5, but yes, of course I want to see the Surratt as well...lol!!
Thank you Alisa!!! xoxo
.Thoroughly enjoyed this; very timely as I’ve recently finished two different foundations 😋. After much research, I’ve ordered the Sisley.
I am so glad this will helpful! xoxo
Definitely the Sisley side. Thanks for this great comparison
FYI-off the subject yet also LOVE the Zelens Youth Flow Foundation!!!! You did a review about 5 months back. Do you still like it? I find I reach for the Zelens most often.
Hi Abby, here from Michele’s channel. I bought the Guerlain foundation during the Sephora sale, so far I like it a lot. I love the Nars liquid blush too, I have three colours and like them all.
Welcome! Thank you for being here and yep- the Guerlain is super nice and I love those Nars blushes. So nice!! xoxo
I would like to see with and without a primer and with/without a setting powder. I am currently preferring the Sisely side and I think I will purchase it!! Thanks for your review :)
I think I like the Sisley best, but they both look really pretty. I’m currently using Guerlain foundation and I love it. Your natural skin is beautiful.
Agree, you look lovely in both. Sisley definitely is more skin-like, looks softer and definitely prefer on the SISLEY. I do own the Guerlain and think the 'glow' is not natural looking. Thank you for the comparison. Already placed an order for the Sisley! Do look lovely in both! 😘
Thank you so much for this review. They both look nice on you.
I think I will go with Guerlain .❤️
Thank you Anna! I hope this helped with your decision making! xoxo
I think the Sisley looks more skin like, and flatters you just a tad more than the Guerlain. Where would you place the Sisley in comparison to the La Mer Foundation?
The siselly is great I loved the siselly side more and you look amazing
Hello Abby :) Great comparison. Both look gorgeous on you. I definitely prefer the Sisley foundation for me because Guerlain feels a bit heavy on my oily skin. I know it's a great foundation it just looks too shiny on me. I really enjoyed your review of the Sisley foundation. xoxo
Thank you Angela Van Rose!! I am so thrilled to have you comment here and I too think the Sisley feels lighter on the skin than the Guerlain but would not consider the Guerlain heavy. Thank you for watching! xoxo
Both are beautiful. I love that you used two brushes ...gotta have that scientific control group, changing only one variable. 🤓👍🏻
While it is barely noticeable, to me the Sisley side looks more skin-like. 🏆 for Sisley.
I know exactly what you mean by checking our makeup in the car. 🙋♀️ Daylight is not exactly forgiving.
Thanks, precious one. xxoo
I think the Sisley looks soooo smoothing. I cannot wait to get mine.
It is definitely smoothing!!! xoxo
hi abby ! i guessed correctly in your teaser !! ☺️ i prefer the sisley on you - it’s more blurring and appears more soft focused. the tone and shade also looks more natural on you. 💗
Yep! You nailed it!!! Good job! xoxo
Guerlain side is more glowy-I love it!
You look great with both foundation. I do like the Guerlain foundation more as it makes your skin look more glowy and radiant. Asians do prefer a fairer and glowy look as I feel that your right side makes you look younger, like you have just done a great facial. Thanks for this video.
Thank you for this great review. I like the Sisely side better, and I think it's more to do with the finish being a bit better and smoother and less to do with the shade. When you swatched the colour on your arm, it looked like the neutral Geurlain shade was blending better. With regards to the Guerlain shade, it almost looked like it was a tad too light and perhaps it would have worked better if it was a tad darker.
Interesting. I don't know if it's due to the quality of the video [720 doesn't cut it when we focus on details :D], but to me the Guerlain side looks more even on the whole. The dry patch, is that a common dry spot for you? Used to have one near my right temple many many years ago hahah, it was so annoying, no amount of hydrating and exfolating helped. It was there for a couple of years until one day it was just gone hahah. But if that is the case, I would have liked to see a test with Sisley on the same side as well to see how it copes with it :) ... I currently have the Guerlain 01N, so perhaps I am a bit partial to it :D ... The shop assistant suggested the 02N, but I love my pale complexion and I wanted an exact match, rather than a slightly darker shade. She was wearing a teint several shades darker than her normal complexion, so I know what her philosophy regarding foundation is, but it is definitely not mine hahah. Anyways, L'Essentiel is marvelous and keeps so well. It still looks amazing when I cleanse my face in the evening. Sometimes I feel it's a shame I have to take it off! No splotches, no dry bits, coverage in tact. I came across a video where literally a bit of the foundation lifted off the woman's face. So I was a bit weary when I purchased it, but I'm going to put what happened in that video down to clumsy application. When I applied it in the store I was won over. And now that I've been using it for a couple of months, I can attest that once it sets it's like it's part of your skin. In the past, I have used products that claimed the same thing [Guerlain too heheh, Chanel, Aveda], but this time it's actually true. I do go for light coverage, with an extra dab where needed. Also, I set it with Guerlain Météorites Light Revealing Pearls Of Powder. I bought these many years ago, but they didn't mash well with my previous two foundations at all. So the Météorites just lingered in a cabinet. They keep very well thankfully, so I brought them back to my routine and the two are a match made in heaven. I finish my macquillage with a few spritzes of Caudalie Beauty Elixir and everything sets very nicely. I keep a small bottle of the Elixir in my bag too for when I feel I need a bit of re-energising, but that's not a daily occurance. I am going to get myself a few samples of the Sisley foundation, because I am interested in what it will do for me. Lovely review in any case, I'm going to subscribe :)
Thank you, thank you, Abby, for this comparison and review! You are breaking new ground! Would you consider doing one using Pat McGrath's foundation and Zelens Youth Foundation?
Ellie- that is a good idea!! I sold my Zelen's Youth Foundation but if I can get a sample I will put this together for you. xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite Thank you, Abby. Let's just let this comparison go - your selling the Zelens foundation tells me that it's not one that you reach for. However, thank you for your kind offer. All the best.
Such a lovely review
Hi Abby ,
I love the guerlain side the best. Another buy for me.
God Bless you
Love, Judy
Both foundation looks good. The Sisley one I picked.
Thanks for this video. I am still on the fence, not having had the opportunity yet to see them in store. I'm leaning towards the Sisley because it doesn't have SPF and because the things I have been using from Sisley lately have been excellent. I always apply a separate SPF if I am going out before nightfall and I am always concerned that the chemicals in 2 different sunscreens may not be compatible. Of course, the look of the foundation is the ultimate deal breaker. If I buy either, it will have to look better on my skin than my current favs, Koh Gen Do Aqua and the Moisture one once the temperatures drop.
Yep, that is actually the ULTIMATE test!! Keep me posted if you sample any of these and they are better than the Koh Gen Doh! xoxo
I feel that, other than the dry spot cling issue, the Guerlain side seems more radiant and glowy to me. (Making it my favorite!)
Hello Abby it is a nice vidéo as always. 😉 the Guerlain one looks flawless on your skin. I préfer this one ! Have a good day in Portland. xoxo Valérie from Paris
Thank you Valerie!!
They both look great Abby.
Hello Abby! I like the Sisley better! I had asked on your OP about the difference between this and the phyto teint expert all day foundation? I have that one and love it
I am curious about that as WELL Alana! I am going to ask my Sisley rep. I will keep you posted. THANK YOU!!!
Both sides look beautiful but the Sisley side seems a tad more beautiful. I would love to see some of the Sisley eyeshadows 💋💋💋
I just came back from Vegas today and catching up your video.
I do agree that the left side looks like you have makeup and the right side looks no makeup makeup. With that said, I like the left side because it does brighten your complexion. I am looking foreword to seeing the surratt foundation that doesn’t have fragrance and I like dewy and light coverage one.
Hi Abby! It’s Charli, I’ve been missing in action for awhile haha 😂 Interesting review! Thanks!
I agree I like the Sisley side better but is it the color difference?? Not sure but I do think that side is nicer .... though almost indistinguishable lol and also hello from Portland ((happy valley area)) just a few minutes away
It's a Sophie's Choice! I like the Sisley shade on you better, but definitely the Guerlain finish. You can't go wrong with either -- both look gorgeous on you.
Thank you Denise! xoxo
Please read the novel Sophie’s choice, this dilemma has nothing to do with the situation in Sophie choice.
Sisley side looks great!!
Sisley looks great on you ❤️
They look very similar. I prefer the glow with the Guerlain. They both look nice. My skin is similar to yours except a little drier. Which do you think might work best on me ?
Joy- I think if you prefer the GLOW - I would go with the Guerlain. I did not find one more moisturizing than the other. I hope this helps. xoxo
Both foundations are lovely on you but I’m in the Sisley camp. I do think the color shade is more flattering and it seems so even toned and blurred. The Guerlain is more glowy but the Sisley does have a beautiful radiant finish. I’m going to be at Nordstrom next week so I’ll play a little. Enjoy both❤️
Thank you Marjorie! I will be interested to see what you think?? I hope you are well. xoxo
Have them both😊 my skin doesn't like SPF so I broke out from the Guerlain, so sad because it is beautiful. The Sisley is drying my skin out but be aware I have the most sensitive of sensitive skin 😓 for me and my skin I found 2 beautiful foundations. 1. Sisleya le teint. 2. Osmosis foundation. Super cool video and for me the Sisley site looked a bit better also the color😘
I think 2N is a good color match, it appears to have more coverage, the Sisley shows your skin more-I wanted to try both, but...I am being good, actually really loving the La Prairie so very much so I am not even going to walk by the counters to swatch anything else ;) I have NC30 in the La Prairie Caviar foundation, it looks dark then it just adjust to my face, blows my mind-And I love having the concealer right on top, so easy to travel with-My goal, which is going to be hard, but is to only use this foundation the rest of the year...this will be a hard challenge but I am determined to do it! So tell me, out of the 3 recent ones; Guerlain, Sisley and Surratt, which is your favorite?
Love it! Can you do your top concealer?
I think I like the Sisley better because it looked more like skin. Although I thought both look fantastic. Both are great to have. and if matching is an issue either one would work. I am dying to try both. But I will wait until they are in store to get matched and get samples for wear tests.
That is a great idea!!! They are both great! Let me know what you think when you try them. xoxo
Will you do a difference video with Guerlain and the Parure Gold one and which one you prefer? thanks
Yep- that will be happening VERY soon!!!
Love Guerlain one! Packaging better, application, coverage, shade...i use fingers to apply, medium coverage and I sheer it out as much as possible, still erases all my discoloration. Can not detect the scent in it. Early 40s, huge pores...and this is only foundation so far that looks superb on my skin not making pores even bigger. Perfect match in 2w.
Sysley one seems to be perfumed. Does not blurr my melasma. Really tacky packaging. Does not last like Guerlain one. And makes my pores look worse. Sets in expression lines.
Sisley looks especially lovely
I am testing these 2 out right now and have those exact same shades as you. So far I am leaning toward the Guerlain as the winner between the 2 of them. Not heavy coverage but better than the Sisley. I need to use more of the Sisley and still not the coverage of the Guerlain. Both look very natural and last well through a day at work. So far I feel like the Sisley dries my skin just slightly but haven’t used it as often. I haven’t noticed any drying with the Guerlain but still a natural velvet satin looking finish on my 60+ skin. The Guerlain reminds me of GA Luminous Silk but without the alcohol.
That is a very good description of the Guerlain!!! For some reason- my skin likes the Sisley better - but not sure why! Maybe my skin is not as dry as I believe it to be.... but I think they are both gorgeous foundations. xoxo
Great comparison and very helpful. I prefer the Sisley on you but it’s a close call. I got the Guerlain in 2c and it’s a bit orangey on me so I am going to pass that one on. Chanel.com are doing free delivery at the moment so put a couple of small orders in to get the samples which my girls love! Ordered the double ended liquid lip that both you and Michelle liked and a Stylo eye shadow stick in metallic flash that I have been after but is sold out in the UK as limited edition (I think).
Thank you Amanda!!! I love those both!!! I hope you enjoy them. xoxo
I think your right looks brighter. Both look great but the cheaper one looks brighter - hard to see the up close wear issues. The Sephora matcher can have me all over the place. I’m like you - I can’t figure out if I’m neutral, cool, or warm - I’ve heard it all. Because I’m light skin with blonde hair people assume I’m cool. I do have blue veins in my wrists, however, my arms have greenish veins, so technically I’m neutral - they don’t always look good.
I have gone to the same company (different locations), different department stores, people, etc., and I always get a different match verdict - cool, yellow, neutral, and recently peach!! My skin has red overtones, but if I use a pink based foundation it can enhance any redness. Certain warm foundations pull green (maybe they’re actually an olive undertone), and neutral can sometimes look ashy (especially if it’s too light). I tried getting matched at Estée Lauder because I thought it would be easy - nope. She tried 1N2 Ecru - too light and muddy. Next she tried 1W2 Sand (light with warm undertones) - it looked the best (so far), but she gave me a few samples to try at home. 2W0 Warm vanilla (light/medium with warm yellow undertones) disappeared into my skin and seemed brighter and lighter than Sand (Sand should be lighter based on the description) There was something else I couldn’t put my finger on except sand looked a tiny bit green in comparison. I went and looked closer at the descriptions on the Sephora website and saw Sand had slight olive undertones, which would explain it seeming darker. After all this I ended up liking how the yellow undertone brightened my skin and I was surprised it “disappeared”. If I hadn’t been in natural light I don’t know if the green would have been noticeable and it was only noticeable in comparison. I had no idea olive tones could be in light shades. Hopefully this isn’t garbled because I’m falling asleep typing. 😴
I am 60 blonde and hazel eyed, like you. I love the Sisley side of your face, it's just beautiful. I have the same coloring as you but I think a little lighter. I use the Sisley eye concealer in 1. The Guerlain side is nice, but I think the Sisley side looks prettier.
Thank you Debbie!! I have the concealer in 2 but wonder if 1 might be better. 2 is a bit too salmon- great as a corrector but not necessarily as a complete concealer. So glad we are the same coloring! xoxo
Thanks for the comparison Abby, which do you think would suit my oily/combo skin?
I would definitely try the Sisley first. The Guerlain is definitely more GLOWY- and you might not like that with oily skin. The SIsley is RADIANT but not necessarily glowy!! I hope this helps. xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite Thanks Abby xxx
Hi Abby, At first I thought the Guerlain looked better then I thought they looked much the same. My final thought was that the Sisley looked better. They are so close that it can be hard to choose and like you said the shade has everything to do with it if it's "off". For me the shade is really important! In either case they are both lovely! xxoo
Beverly- this was a tough one!!! Thank you so much for everything. xoxo
Thanks Abby ! Ok I ll buy them both there are beautiful on you !
I m on a no buy this month... just to test me... Am I able to do it...? 🤔 but my next month wish list get longer 🤭
Let me know if you are able to hold out... you only have a few days! : )
Oh I hear you on picking shades. I live in Sisters so I shop at Washington Square for my “in store” purchases. Why oh why doesn’t Nordstrom or Sephora have a Guerlain counter??? 😭. Such a lovely wonderful high end line.
I love Sisters!! And they eliminated the Guerlain counter and was sad. They told me Guerlain does not advertise and did not have enough customers to keep the counter going. SAD!!
They both looked great on you, however I think the pink undertone of the Sisley made a slightly nicer difference. The glow of the Guerlain was really beautiful too. Maybe try a combo of them for a perfect look.
Great idea! Thank you Monika!! I will give that a try. xoxo
Great review Abby!! Where would you put Armani Luminous silk into the rating? Better coverage, good for mature skin, luminous etc?
I would actually say the Sisley and Armani are more similar than the Guerlain. Guerlain is definitely more glowy! I hope this helps. xoxo
I like the Sisley side a little better. The blush and bronzer seemed to blend in a little smoother and the shade is spot on. Very youthful look.
Thank you Sue! I think I am figuring out that I might do better with Cool Neutral foundations instead of just the Neutral ones I have been purchasing for years. This one has a slightly cool undertone that I was worried about - but now think - that may be better for me. LOL! You learn new things all the time! xoxo
I like both. I think sisly is adding more with the pink undertone and I like the Pearl like shimmer effect of that foundation. It's a suddle sparkle not really dewy. I think it makes you look healthier. Which is what I personally liked about the brand. the sparkle In it's products really blend with the skin and looks youthful and like better health. Where before using this line I had never felt that kind of charm in products before
OMG Abbey, have you tried the new liquid blush from EM Cosmetics!!!!!!! Just ask Michele Wang, they are GLORIOUS!!!! Also, I found you through Michele. She mentioned you and I immediately subbed because I trust her judgement so much.😘😄😄😄
No- but I need to! And thank you so much for subscribing and watching!! xoxo
I am now not sure which colors to get! LOL! They look so pretty! xoxo
@@amypanddirtytoo1926 THANK YOU!!! I am like you... all 4 look gorgeous!! Thank you for the info. xoxo
Hei Abby😘, I love Guerlain cosmetics during the years I used a lot of different types Guerlain foundations but to be honest in this review I prefer You in Sisley.
I love to watch your videos and my husband call You "miss Chanel" every time he recognises your voice in background 😂😂😂😂.
LOL!! I think I like that Miss Chanel name!!! Thank you so much!!
Both look beautiful on you. I think the Sisley is ever so slightly better. It looks a bit more skin-like and natural. Some of that could be the color is a bit better. This didn’t make buying one or the other any easier!
Tricia- I am sorry!! I was having the toughest time making a final call on these two!!! xoxo
Hi Abby! I love the Sisley side. I just might need to pick that up on my next shopping adventure;) Regarding your undertones, have you looked at your wrist vein color? My guess would be that you are neutral-cool & the pink Sisley shade match is perfect for you! It gets tricky because we all have several undertones. Thank you for another awesome video! XO!
Heather- THANK YOU- yes, I have looked and oen day I think I have blue veins and the other I think I have greenish-- LOL! I will have to send you a picture. For some reason, I WANT to be WARM/NEUTRAL but do actually think I am more COOL/NEUTRAL. I have been matched in both warm, neutral and cool-toned foundations so literally just get so darn confused. I appreciate you and all your awesome videos!! xoxo
If you can send me a picture of your face, neck & chest in natural light I’ll be able to tell you right away
@@BeautyFortyPlus WOW!! Okay- I don't want you to be scared but I would love to know. I don't have any makeup on right now. LOL!
I do color matching nearly every day-totally discreet & professional! Thank you for your kind words, btw♥️
@@BeautyFortyPlus okay- I just sent you some scary first morning pictures without makeup on to your IG message account. So sorry to scare you first thing on this lovely morning but would love to get your expert advice : )
Hello Abby Bliss White, they both look beautiful on you. I don’t care what you wear you always look absolutely gorgeous. xoxo roseingeorgia
You are way to nice RoseinGeorgia!! xoxo
What about a comparison Guerlain new Parure versus ,L’Essential .... I’m currently testing the Parure 😀
Yep! That is coming up next and I am wearing the Parure TODAY again! xoxo
Hmmm, I think the Sisley cool shade suits you better. More healthy natural looking skin.Difficult to describe.
Sadly I don't see how there are still big Companies with 6 shades! 😏 We are in all colors! I wish they would see that..I love Sisley skincare, a few things..Love their lip oils, lip and eye crayons.. Definitely love their bronzer too..I think I love the Guerlain and I have far too many foundations to get through.. Great video dear..Love the Guerlain...maybe use a face oil earlier on.. to add hydration to the dry patches..xx Michelle
🧡💜❤️ I think the Sisley side is the best ❤️💜🧡
Nice review 👍 thank you.
Thank you Rose!
Guerlain ❤️❤️❤️
The gurlein u use have a spf ?
I tried the Guerlain foundation and I had an horrible reaction on my skin. It was very irritated. This saddens me because I am in love with the packaging. I might need to try the Sisley. I'm still living the CT. The Sisley side really looks fabulous on you. 🌺
Oh bummer Trycia!! That is the worst! I am so sorry to hear that. I hope you are on the mend. xoxo
Yes. Guerlain not just their perfume is strong, also strong in alcohol, which is a no no to dry, sensitive skin. Meanwhile, Sisley is save for sensitive skin. The texture is one of the best in the market
Love the review, Abby. In the end I like the Sisley side - I do like the slight pink undertone - but I got to say it’s a tough decision, both look great. I did guess wrong but if I had paid attention to the undertone I would have guessed correctly. 😘 YES, Surratt review please 💕
Thank you Ann! I am surprised but I think I like the pink undertone with Sisley as well!! And yep, the Surratt Dew Drops look very intriguing. xoxo
ok.im on the move to nordstroms, bloomies sephora and Blue mercury.....to check out all your foundations this week! I do however want to add to your List....which i find for me...has been a miracle ....Its not talked about as much but the flawless look with the radiance factor and lasting factor makes it so fabulous on my dry parched skin! As much as i love all the foundations in the higher end....i have found...i need something that doesn't grip any dry patches whatsoever....I got it from Blue mercury and its in a black tube....BY LUNE + ASTER...this is the owner and founder Marla. of blue Mercury ... its her brand! its the cover+Correct tinted moisturiZer... I have used it with my brush...but now im finding...what a great flawless look with my FINGERS !!! Its a real keeper in this mix with the others....i think my skin looks better!! out of everything ive used....OK....im outta here to see all your this week picks...the guerlain and sisley....but ....try my idea....i have this gut feeling you will LOVE IT!!!!!!.. ( i have both colors the light...and medium....for when i spray tan...).use your fingers the first time..have a great weekend Abby
!!!! andy
Thank you Andy! I will definitely check this out and have tried some other Lune + Aster and enjoyed them. THANK YOU!!!! I will keep you posted. xoxo
Sisley always pulls a bit peachy pink for me no matter the formula. I’m ok with that bc it saves me some major bank. Lol. I did a similar wear test with this one with my Sisley counter buddy and he poo pooed his own brand to TF.
On you, they’re both keepers! I’ll check out the Guerlain when the display hits Sephora here. xo
Jennifer- that is a true blessing! LOL! And did he steer you to the TF Stick or one of the other foundations. Inquiring minds want to know. xoxo
Abby Bliss White got the stick in linen and it’s perfect! It’s in rotation with “the foundation” by cle de peau 💎 , Chanel Vitalumiere moisture, and the Armani luminous. Westman Atelier makes an appearance every now and then but these other ones are just taking center stage!
They are so close, but I think I prefer the Guerlain. I am getting a sample from my friend who is a Guerlain counter manager and check it out myself. I need another foundation like a hole in my head. :))
LOL! Exactly!!
Thank you so much Abby, You truely are going to the top as far as doing that extra yard of refinement we have come to expect from your chanel. Just love watching you. Ok so which side do i prefer? hmmm. i have to say that i could be wrong as there seems to be a window light coming thru on the side of the guerlain so the lights are different. But i would choose guerlain inspite of what you said about the dry patch. Why? Well if they are so close then i prefer the guerlain scent over Sisley. So it comes down to the hidden senses as the visible ones are almost identicle.
Good call!! And yes- by the end of the day the lighting was different and the scents are unique - so you gotta go with what won't bother you!!! I think I just needed to exfoliate a bit more and that flake will come right off! Thank you BILLIE!!
On the topic of exfoliation. would you do a video on different types of exfoliants? Thank you

Here is one of my videos on my favorites- ua-cam.com/video/Fwx3iuj_R9c/v-deo.html . I hope this helps! I don't think a lot has changed for me on that front. xoxo
Somehow the Sisley side just looks more lifted to me. I think I would go for Sisley.
Sisley side for shade. FYI I normally buy similar shades and I bought Guerlain in 3N.
Both are nice but the SISLEY in my opinion looks better. After not enjoying and returning the GUERLAIN I am tempted to try it as its oil free I think . My foundation budget keeps getting higher
Thank you Zoe!! I think you will like the Sisley!! xoxo
I think the Guerlain has much better coverage on you and looks very diffused, “blurred,” and I love its glow. It may be the lighting? Maybe with no SPF it’s better on camera? Just getting to know you, so I do not know how your skin/foundation normally looks. I just changed my foundation to the original Lingerie de Peau and am loving it because it does not slide off my face - even though my skin is on the dry side.
Is it me, or do many foundations ( 10 or 200 $ ) look similar on the skin ?
Candice - yes... I have been curious about this for YEARS!!! xoxo
It’s a little tricky because the light is coming from your right side. So, the Sisley side is a bit in the shadow. However, the Sisley side looks more skin like and natural. It’s odd that the Guerlain side does look like foundation. But, it’s still fine as it is. In comparison, Sisley just looks fresher.
