So excited to be bringing you this review! This is the new foundation from Sisley and I am putting it to the TEST! An all day (11+ hours) wear test in steamy conditions (an Aesthetician's treatment room is anything but arid)....Let's see how this new oil-free, polution-fighting formula fares!!

Hi Penny, Thanks for the review on this foundation and also for explaining those extra ingredients in the formula. I was already sold on the foundation from Michele Wang and Abby White, but knowing a little more about the anti-pollution ingredients really helps. It seems that we are seeing more and more products out there with anti-pollution claims. I also wanted to mention (in case you didn't see it) that Sisley has an actual anti-pollution product that contains the Buckwheat Seed Extract in it. I would imagine that using this product under the foundation would be helpful.

Dear Penny, I think I might try this foundation, even though it is costly, it might blur my pores and cover those pesky brown spots (which I dearly love). I am always looking for something to do that. As far as primer goes I haven’t been able to find one that really helps cover my pores very good so my skin doesn’t look blotchy! This foundation really looks great on you.

This foundation is on top of my next purchase...now it is about shade match. I think I have it figured out but to want to try in person. I too am 2cool beige. I get matched too yellow all the time...so it is great to hear that soft beige sounds like the one.

This is a well received review. I too enjoy my foundation leaning a touch cool. Livens up my complexion. Yellow bases sallow my skin. Can’t wait for your Surratt. I’m going to struggle between with these two!
Cap Armstrong I’m breaking them down on Wednesday. I will say though, something interesting is the Surratt is only .64 oz 🤔 so per oz it is $102 (more than Sisley) and I had to use a LOT of it to get decent coverage. It is beautiful though.....more skin like finish (more dewy than the Sisley).

Such a gorgeous finish, and the cooler tone looks fabulous on you! Which sunscreen did you wear? I'm finding neither the Laneige nor the Hada Labo lotion w/Arbutin plays nicely with chemical or physical sunscreens, and I've moved those products to evening. Thank you for informing us about the ingredients in the Sisley fdtn.! I'm waiting for the Surratt Dew Drop fdtn. to arrive! Can't wait to compare it the Guerlain L'Essentiel Natural.

Hello Penn. Every time I use foundation it's hard to put on because my skin gets like licking and then I have to take off the makeup and I do moisturize, but my makeup goes on horrible so I don't bother anymore,and I haven't been wearing much make-up lately. Is there something I can use so my face doesn't look like I had a face peel! 🤦🏽♀️ HELP!!!

I actually am going through this as well bc I am back on retin-a. I am finding that snail secretion filtrate is helping a TON!! The CosRX all in one seems to really calm my skin and hydrate it. It plays well under makeup and isn’t expensive. Worth a look! 💜

PENN.SMITH.SKINCARE hi penny I checked out the colours they have 3 shades 00n ivory beige 01n pale beige 02n light beige ,I’m sure I’m the same shades as you I use 12 natural on creme de la mer and linen 13 / Sensai 22 natural beige so my colour on parure is 01n ,the parure gold liquid foundation is beautiful it’s very creamy and give a lovely glow I think the 02 light beige would be your colour , I’ve taken photos of swatches but can’t put them on you tube , hope this info help X pauline
I wish it came a bit lighter and more neutral tone, beige 2 makes my skin a bit dark. Not sure what I should do! Looks great on your skin as well as mine when I gave it a try. Maybe:)))) you look stunning.

It’s s good one, huh?! Crazy how some can look SO bad (hello shiseido) and then some so good. I went from 105 years old to my 45 year old self again lol

It's really disappointing that in this day and age and at this price, Sisley couldn't even come up with a formula with an SPF.
I believe they have a foundation (tinted coverage anyway) with sunscreen.
