Some high end products are so fragranced that even I feel unable to use them (and I generally love fragranced products). xoxo

Hello Deborah :) I recently bought sisleya foundation but I still didn't have the chance to test it properly because I was testing Chanel's Ultra le teint velvet. Unfortunately I had some unpleasant reaction against Ultra le teint velvet and I had to stay makeup free for some time. Last week I started wearing Phyto Teint Ultra eclat and I will have to test properly sisleya in the coming week or so. Drop me a line under one of my next videos and I will give you a short comparison (or find me on IG and I'll tell you what I think. I went into the store and gave it a shot. It’s beautiful but the color was too dark and the beige color was not a good match on my neutral toned skin. I wish I could buy it but it looks a bit dirty on my skin. The finish and how it looks on my 47!year old skin. Smooth and hides my pores excellent. I hope they will come out with lighter shades. The ivory was yellow.
You have no idea how happy I am that you provided the ingredients list on the back... I am very happy that sisley has skincare benefits in their products but something that upsets me is their websites and even the companies that carry them generally dont have the ingredient lists.... So I need to go to a sisley counter in person to see the ingredients. so thank you for that!!! :)
All the masks, the cleaners and the tonica. All day all year is a must of the House, and I love the Hera global. And the makeup is top notch. I love the old Teint Eclat.
Still the Sisleya le Teint foundation 😉 I also love the cushion foundation (available through Selfridges in the EU), even though this one is only available in 3! shades. I am ok with perfume, but stay away from allergenic fragrances like linalool,... and also from things like menthol, lavender, citrus extracts, etc. (due to their allergenic potential and their ability to cause hyperpigmentiations). So unfortunately a lot of Sisley products are not for me anyway. Oh, and I totally love the new blur expert powder! I use it as a finishing powder and fortunately the colour matches my skin tone perfectly.
Hi Angela, I love the tinted suncare protector 30 spf, the lipsticks, the emulsion ecologique moisturizer, the gentle buffing cream, the cleansing milk with white lily is gorgeous, the cream with saffron flowers for winter is amazing and so many other products really, it is a fantastic brand 😍

It's very hard to find the ingredients list of Sisley products in general because they don't disclose them on their website (which I find a bit outdated. More and more ppl want or need to know what a product is made of, be it due to allergies, personal preference, etc.)

Hi Elizabeth :) I used the top right shade all over my mobile eyelid. Then I used the bottom right shade (this is the darkest shade in the palette) and I applied the color in my crease (but just the outer part of my crease). Then blend the edges until you're happy with the results. Then I took the top left shade from the palette (this is the palest shade) and I applied it with a small brush in the inner corner of the eye and dragging the color a little bit towards the mobile eyelid just for blending purposes. Finally, I traced my lower lash line using the darkest shade in the palette (the bottom right shade). xoxo
I usually use Givenchy loose powder with such glowy foundations and I guess that's why the performance was very long lasting. Otherwise I'm sure it would have melted away in that heat.
Here I'm wearing 2 soft beige but it's warming up my skin a lot. I couldn't get paler shade. If I could I would get one shade lighter. I got it online so I don't know which shade would be an exact match for my skintone but as soon as they release this foundation in stores, I will do swatches of the colors and i will post them on my IG and the community section here on UA-cam. xoxo

Hi Ella! :) Thanks for watching. I'm always happy to see you here. Yes. It has a light fragrance. It doesn't last for too long but I can feel it for app. 5 min after application. However, keep in mind that I'm a person who uses fragranced makeup and skincare on a regular basis so I'm less sensitive to fragrances than most people.I'm not impressed with the fragrance to be honest. It smells a little bit like soap (or kind of a baby shampoo); it's hard to explain the scent but I don't like it. lol

I'm not bothered very much with fragrance either, unless it is something really unbearable, like in By Terry Cover Expert foundation or Armani Lipsticks, though if I have to choose between fragranced product and non-fragranced, I'll choose the second one. In this video during the 9 hour test I was wearing Eucerin SPF 50 Face Sun Fluid (I'm not sure if this is available in the US). But I've tested this foundation with all of my sunscreens and it looks very nice on top of sunscreens. xoxo

I have rosacea and a brand ambassador of Sysley advice me this foundation and the repair cream of the same brand ( that saves me). My question is, have you aply something before the fondation? I am asking because my skin in getting very very dry because of the cream I am using and you don't see a pretty skin after I aply the fondation. I do aply a very moisturize cream for the night but still have the same issue... Thank you for your reply ☺

I haven't tried Sisley's repair cream but if your skin feels dry after a few hours then maybe it's not the right product for you. My partner has rosacea and I know it can be quite challenging to find the right products. What skin type do you have? Is it more dry or oily?

@@lileli2303 I haven't tried Sisley skincare so I can't tell anything about the quality of their skincare. However, I've tried almost everything from Chanel. Hydra Beauty Micro serum is a very beautiful serum. It gives moisture. It's suitable for all skin types and I love it. One serious issue is the strong fragrance. If you skin is extremely sensitive as you say this might cause irritation. The problem that you describe sounds either like a dehydrated skin or not properly exfoliated skin. What exfoliant do you use? Have you tried using AHA OR BHA? Chanel's Hydra beauty line is great for hydration but a lot of people can't take the fragrance. It's quite strong.
@@Frenchforadayoh I have to go and try thIs serum in the shop and yes my skin seems dehydrated but only when I put a fondation. It's like the fondation drys it. And about exfoliation, truly I don't do, I'm afraid of what will happen and actually don't know any gentle exfoliation for my case. I also don't wash my face with water, I just clean it with Eau milecinaire Diaderma crealine or La roche posay for sensitive skin and with eau thermale. I don't know those AHA or BHA. I will go and check on Internet.
@@lileli2303 I will talk briefly about AHAs and BHAs in my next video that should be up on my UA-cam channel tonight. I might actually do a separate video because I think a lot of people get confused when it comes to using acids. If your skin looks dry after using foundation there are a few reasons for that: the foundation might not be right for your skin; you're not exfoliating your skin (AHA and BHAs are gentle exfoliants. They "eat" the dead skin cells without irritating the skin and make the skin very smooth. It's a very essential step in the skincare routine. I'll explain more in today's video xoxo

If you take the foundation down on your neck and you are wearing a white shirt then I think it might transfer. I usually don't use foundation on my neck and I haven't noticed transfer so far. It also doesn't transfer on my mask but I always set it with powder. I hope this helps. xoxo

I wanted to share my favorite sunscreen that I think u would love shishado environmental 40 (small white bottle) I have 3 bottles in my home and car. It makes my skin beautiful and it goes on Matte . Does not get oily. I hope you will try it.

On my skin La mer looks more luminous which is an issue during the summer because I have oily skin. And on my skin La Mer wears off faster. Both are beautiful foundations. I haven't been wearing La Mer foundation recently so I'm just using my memory to compare them. The last time I wore La Mer was app. 6 or 7 months ago. So ... this is not the best comparison. I will have to wear them both to be ale to do a good comparison. Sorry I'm not very useful.

Hello Katie :) I have 2 soft beige and it has cool undertone. I prefer warm undertone but this was the palest shade available when I was purchasing. Here's some guidance that might help you when choosing the right shade for you: The shades are as follows 0 porcelain- (warm undertone); 0+ vanilla (cool undertone); 1 ivory- (cool undertone); 2 soft beige (cool undertone); 2+ sand (warm undertone); I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions :) I'm always happy to help. And one last thing- 2 soft beige is very dark for me. I make it work because I'm applying very thin layer and it warms up my skin a lot so I don't need a bronzer but I'll definitely need a shade or two paler. xoxo
I have 0+ vanilla. Unfortunately, in my country this shade is not available everywhere. I bought it at the airport. Otherwise online. This shade is the lightest one with cool undertone.

You mean the new L' essentiel by Guerlain? I don't like the new L' essentiel by Guerlain. It has natural ingredients and it's a very good foundation but it feels too heavy on my skin. It looks very glowy and because it's natural I can feel it on my skin all day. This is a deal breaker for me. And as day goes my skin gets shiny with it. So I definitely prefer Sisley. But if you have very dry skin you might like Guerlain better. xoxo

I love the Phyto Teint Expert but I need to touch up constantly because I have oily skin and is not that long wearing on me.

Hi Ella! :) Thanks for watching. I'm always happy to see you here. Yes. It has a light fragrance. It doesn't last for too long but I can feel it for app. 5 min after application. However, keep in mind that I'm a person who uses fragranced makeup and skincare on a regular basis so I'm less sensitive to fragrances than most people.I'm not impressed with the fragrance to be honest. It smells a little bit like soap (or kind of a baby shampoo); it's hard to explain the scent but I don't like it. lol

I'm not bothered very much with fragrance either, unless it is something really unbearable, like in By Terry Cover Expert foundation or Armani Lipsticks, though if I have to choose between fragranced product and non-fragranced, I'll choose the second one. I was curious because from what I understand, Sisley considered to be a natural brand, so I wondered what is their view regarding fragrance.

Hello Denise :) Thank you very much for watching my video. I always use sunscreen and this foundation works beautiful with my sunscreens. In this video during the 9 hour test I was wearing Eucerin SPF 50 Face Sun Fluid (I'm not sure if this is available in the US). But I've tested this foundation with all of my sunscreens and it looks very nice on top of sunscreens. xoxo
P. S. I have oily skin so I need to use power on top but I don't need touch ups during the day.

I have not tried the previously Phyto Eclat foundation, but this is certainly a gorgeous product. I have many favorite products from Sisley - besides the Sisleya Le Teint foundation, I love the concealer, the Black Rose line, the Sisleya face creams and the eye contour mask (really, everything I have tried, I fall in love). I have the old version of this fondation. I have rosacea and a brand ambassador of Sysley advice me this foundation and the repair cream of the same brand ( that saves me). My question is, have you aply something before the fondation? I am asking because my skin in getting very very dry because of the cream I am using and you don't see a pretty skin after I aply the fondation. I do aply a very moisturize cream for the night but still have the same issue...

Hello :) and huge thank you for the nice words. I applied Chanel's Hydra Beauty Micro serum before the foundation. I haven't tried Sisley's repair cream but if your skin feels dry after a few hours then maybe it's not the right product for you. My partner has rosacea and I know it can be quite challenging to find the right products. What skin type do you have? Is it more dry or oily?

If I stop for some days oh God here comes troubles!😅My skin doesn't become dry but when I want to put Fondation, you can see dead skin like after burning. Do you see what I mean?

@@lileli2303 I haven't tried Sisley skincare so I can't tell anything about the quality of their skincare. However, I've tried almost everything from Chanel. Hydra Beauty Micro serum is a very beautiful serum. It gives moisture. It's suitable for all skin types and I love it. One serious issue is the strong fragrance. If you skin is extremely sensitive as you say this might cause irritation. The problem that you describe sounds either like a dehydrated skin or not properly exfoliated skin. What exfoliant do you use? Have you tried using AHA OR BHA?
Chanel's Hydra beauty line is great for hydration but a lot of people can't take the fragrance. It's quite strong.
@@Frenchforadayoh I have to go and try thIs serum in the shop and yes my skin seems dehydrated but only when I put a fondation. It's like the fondation drys it. And about exfoliation, truly I don't do, I'm afraid of what will happen and actually don't know any gentle exfoliation for my case. I also don't wash my face with water, I just clean it with Eau milecinaire Diaderma crealine or La roche posay for sensitive skin and with eau thermale. I don't know those AHA or BHA. I will go and check on Internet.
@@lileli2303 I will talk briefly about AHAs and BHAs in my next video that should be up on my UA-cam channel tonight. I might actually do a separate video because I think a lot of people get confused when it comes to using acids. If your skin looks dry after using foundation there are a few reasons for that: the foundation might not be right for your skin; you're not exfoliating your skin (AHA and BHAs are gentle exfoliants. They "eat" the dead skin cells without irritating the skin and make the skin very smooth. It's a very essential step in the skincare routine. I'll explain more in today's video xoxo

Hello Mary and welcome to my beauty community! Thank you so much for subscribing :) I didn't notice any transfer on my clothes but it usually depends on the weather and your skin type. If you take the foundation down on your neck and you are wearing a white shirt then I think it might transfer. I usually don't use foundation on my neck and I haven't noticed transfer so far. It also doesn't transfer on my mask but I always set it with powder. I hope this helps. xoxo

I wanted to share my favorite sunscreen that I think u would love shishado environmental 40 (small white bottle) I have 3 bottles in my home and car. It makes my skin beautiful and it goes on Matte . Does not get oily. I hope you will try it.

It looks fab on you. I’m wondering how does it compare to the La Mer Foundation...looking quite similar in texture
On my skin La mer looks more luminous which is an issue during the summer because I have oily skin. And on my skin La Mer wears off faster. Both are beautiful foundations. I haven't been wearing La Mer foundation recently so I'm just using my memory to compare them. The last time I wore La Mer was app. 6 or 7 months ago. So ... this is not the best comparison. I will have to wear them both to be ale to do a good comparison. Sorry I'm not very useful.

Hello Katie :) I have 2 soft beige and it has cool undertone. I prefer warm undertone but this was the palest shade available when I was purchasing. Here's some guidance that might help you when choosing the right shade for you: The shades are as follows
0 porcelain- (warm undertone); 0+ vanilla (cool undertone); 1 ivory- (cool undertone); 2 soft beige (cool undertone); 2+ sand (warm undertone);
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions :) I'm always happy to help. And one last thing- 2 soft beige is very dark for me. I make it work because I'm applying very thin layer and it warms up my skin a lot so I don't need a bronzer but I'll definitely need a shade or two paler. xoxo
I have 0+ vanilla. Unfortunately, in my country this shade is not available everywhere. I bought it at the airport. Otherwise online. This shade is the lightest one with cool undertone.

You mean the new L' essentiel by Guerlain? I don't like the new L' essentiel by Guerlain. It has natural ingredients and it's a very good foundation but it feels too heavy on my skin. It looks very glowy and because it's natural I can feel it on my skin all day. This is a deal breaker for me. And as day goes my skin gets shiny with it. So I definitely prefer Sisley. But if you have very dry skin you might like Guerlain better. xoxo
