I actually love the Sisley foundation more than La Mer. On my skin the Sisley foundation really blurs my pores and it lasts all day and it looks so flawless. I pair it with the La Mer powder. I am thinking of purchasing the Sisley powder after this video. You have convinced me to go for it. Thank you for your honest reviews!

Hi Grace. Great review and wear test of these foundations. The Sisley looks very pretty and gives a nice glow and seems like a good choice for my drier skin. Love the long wear time too. Going to try those brownies for the 4th since I have almond flour, walnuts and shredded coconut in the house. Also I noticed that we have the same oven and microwave. I showed my husband and he said they look exactly like ours. 😊 Love your cute shoes too. I enjoyed the vlog with the beauty, fashion and cooking all incorporated in one 🥰

I really enjoy this format of video/vlog and the side by side wear tests. Your findings are useful and provide a good context for making a choice of product. I’ve taken a screenshot of the brownie recipe 😋it looked delicious and I like that you can tweak the sugar and add more nuts & chocolate! The Castañer espadrilles are lovely 💖the only pity is the sizing if you are in between sizes.

Hi Grace, it's interesting how on everyone the same product works differently. I don't have the La Mer foundation, but I Have the Sisley one. So apart from struggling to find a correct match, I have it in 2Soft Beige and 1Ivory, both are not perfect, but when I add to each of them from the last release of Sisley skin tint in 1, then both match perfectly. My skin is oily-combo, especially in summer, and I live in hot humid climate. But I never get the glow like you did. Actually in winter I can't use it since it's too dry, so I consider it to be perfect for humid summer.
Try Face Halo for removing makeup. I learned about them from Michele Wang. I use them and they are washable. If you order them on Amazon they are a little cheaper than on their website which is strange. Amazon also carries the red version too!

In regards to your question about social media, I am not on any other platform, only YT. I would love to how the blue/white dress looks on, I love dresses. Are you in the southern or southwest US? You have such a calming and lovely personality, and I love your bits of humor. At the end of day, both products performed pretty well. Have a great day! I love the blog-style videos 😊 And I love the full day wear side-by-side comparison. So, yay 😁! I think I liked the Sisley side more bc it is less makeup-y and I love the sheen (maybe the powder is not even necessary for this one). I also prefer Sisley’s ingredients (but I’m a nerd 🤓). But I do get the concealer issue - it is such a bummer when a new and rather expensive base product doesn’t work with HG concealer, skincare, sunscreen, etc.
The Castanēr I have is the turquoise espadrille-style kitten heels 🤩 from their collab with Manolo Blahnik (these are impeccably made) - and I also find they run big size-wise. Maybe it’s the width which makes the foot slide further. But I still got them in my usual 36 and I love how “free” the foot feels in them, extremely comfortable.
The striped summer dress is gorgeous!
Oh, and as a sugar substitute I very much recommend erythritol, it is widely sold, it is impeccable health-wise (for blood sugar, triglycerides, etc) and doesn’t have any funny taste.

Hi Grace, Great vlog, it was so relaxing 'hanging out' with you 😊. I really love the Sisley Sisleya anti-aging foundation, I find it is a nicer foundation - but I have dry skin. And, it is much more expensive than the Phyto-Teint Ultra Éclat Oil-Free Foundation (I have both, and I really do like both), the La Mer is also nice, but I seem to like the Sisley foundations more (and I'm not sure why, maybe they just feel nicer on my skin?). Don't forget to shop on Selfridges for Sisley since they are cheaper and this brand is so expensive in the US. If you have combo skin, I might suggest the Sisley Youth anti-pollution cream - this one also claims to have blue light protection and it comes with a pump, which I love (25% cheaper at Selfridges), it has been a very nice day cream. The House of Sillage products look lovely too, please let us know how you like them. I would also love to see you use the PMG Divine Rose II palette, even though there have been a lot of videos, everyone does different looks and I always love the way you do your eye makeup. Grace, enjoyed your vlog & watching you unbox HOS, making brownies. I love those espadrilles! I love that you did another wear test. They both look great on you! I wear Buff in La Mer & Natural in Sisley (I had to go darker in Sisley because I got tan). I think they are pretty equal in how they look. I did do similar test ( not for two weeks 😆) with the Chantecaille vs Sisley powder & did find same results as you. The Chantecaille looked better longer, better blurring in hiding my pores. So thank you I would have never known. I will have to try the Sisley under foundation. So now I’m going to test out the La Mer vs Sisley. 😊

Face Halos are legit! They remove all of my makeup, including mascara, with just water. It’s like magic. And they’re machine washable, I just put them in a bag and let them air dry. I’m also trying to be more eco friendly with the daily use stuff, they’re a great solution!

Hi Grace. I subscribed awhile ago but this is my first time commenting. I wanted to let you that I really enjoy your videos. I recently got a couple pairs of castaner espadrilles and learned that the proper way to wear them is to pull out the ribbon that is threaded through the back and make a circle to the front and slip your foot through it.
