I improved my PSAT score by 500 points

Gonna be uploading more now that it's winter break
If you don't know what the PSAT is it's an exam for juniors (11th year students) that tests your reading, English, and math on a pretty basic level and is supposed to gauge how well you will do on the SAT which is a college entrance exam here in the states. It is scored on a scale of 320-1520 and where each section is worth 760 points. The test is also used to give scholarships for the best scores. I came decently close to being a semi-finalist but since I live in a very competitive state it is really hard to become one which is fine for me because it just means less hassle senior year.

I'm so impressed by your improvement! +500 points on the PSAT is incredible-- I did a score analysis video on my two PSAT scores on Saturday and while I improved on one part, I did worse on another part, so my overall score didn't improve at all! 😂

Do problems and review earlier problems. Whenever your teacher does an example solve it alongside them and try to do extra practice the same day. When studying for a test do each type of problem twice. Try to be able to figure what problems are the same type and which are different. Also when preparing for an exam first time aim for accuracy second time aim for speed

yeah I don't think my score is something to brag about but I think the improvement is very much inspiring to see. I'm still going to try and improve at grammar though because they dock so many more points for missing grammar than anything else. I missed 3 questions on the reading and none on math so everything else was just the writing section.

@@kingarth0r yeah it was the exact same for me. I only missed 2 on the reading section and one on math but the writing section for some reason was the hardest
