Boss 429 Mustang 819 HP by Classic Recreations SEMA 2018 interview with builder Jason Engel and owner Jeff Miller.
Classic Recreations has been officially licensed by Ford Motor Company to build the first ever turn-key versions of the 1969-1970 BOSS 429 Mustangs. Each vehicle will be built to customer specifications using the latest chassis and drivetrain technology paired with new Ford-licensed reproduction parts - giving owners the opportunity to own and drive the most iconic muscle cars ever built, updated to run and drive like modern supercars.
Classic Recreations is the only licensed continuation car builder to offer the highly sought after BOSS 429 Mustang. The “BOSS 9,” as it is sometimes called in collector car circles, will be built from an original 1969 or 1970 Mustang body, though customers can opt for a brand-new body licensed by Ford, and will come equipped with a custom-built BOSS 429 engine featuring updated valvetrain and cutting-edge EFI and engine management systems.
Investment starting at $209,000

THE BOSS 429!
Hey Lloyd, Yes you have to admire what Jason has built with Classic Recreations. A large stable of continuation and licensed Mustangs and Shelby's and now the Boss '9 ! Who would have thought. Thank you for watching!
The Mustang Boss 429,
my all-time favourate dream car in my life. (only when it's glossy black.)
@@franciscs1604 dark gray with black stripes is the way to go
There's a reason they were called THE BOSS. Both the 302 and 429 were the cocks of the walk and I know a guy that had a matched set of Bosses , one a 302 and 429 and he never lost but once in the 302 and it took a 70 440 6pk / 4 spd challenger to do it. The 429 he was never beaten and his times on Mickey Thompson stickies were high 11s.I saw his E.T stickers from brainer. 69 Boss 429 is my all time favorite muscle car
I have never been so motivated to make money 😂
:)))
One beautiful car,my husband cousin has one he bought in 1970,and still has it only has 43000 mlgs on it,my husband said that he and his cousin took it for a test fun and almost lost it they were going so fast that it lifted off the ground,he took it home and put it in storage and that is where its at today,
Me too😄
I'm a former owner of KK429, 1820. Love this, thank You !
I'm a Chevy man but this beast looks awesome. I'm glad they did it with the old model car instead of the new cars. The 67 to 69's where the best looking models same as the Camero's.
Outstanding build. The car looks super trick. The Boss 429 motor is KILLER. Especially due to the Kaase cylinder heads.
A stratospheric price tag is guaranteed
nvdirtbiker I could see $200,000 plus for an original Boss 429 Mustang but for a clone?!?! No thanks I would rather have the original, not a copy of the original
That’s a naturally aspirated motor putting out that power that’s very impressive
"naturally aspirated"? So this thing doesn't have a super powerful supercharger?
So sweet!
God damn ... What a bad ass BOSS!!!
Beautiful. Just beautiful
My dream car
Wow now this is one sharp looking car. Not over done. Give me this over any of them so call super cars.
Any day
Dude, ANY day! I cannot stand these new ugly ass so called "super cars." Not sure what's so super about them lol super ugly and super lame, that's about all I can find super about them. I was at work one day and I saw some ugly new Maclaren and I started laughing because I can't believe someone cares so much about what a bunch of strangers think about them that they spent probably hundreds of thousands of dollars on that car. I said out loud that I can't wait until I have a grabber blue 71-72 Roadrunner so I can pull up next to people driving those and laugh at them. I shit you not, 5 minutes later I pull up to a stop sign and there sat a really nice looking 1971 grabber blue Roadrunner! I couldn't believe it! By the end of the day I talked to the guy, got to see it and he gave me his number because in the next year or two he wants to sell it! I told him I plan on buying my first old muscle car in that same time frame and I sent him a text telling him to save my number and that I'd be calling him with an offer in the next year or so. He said, "see you in a couple years!" I'm very excited!
@@erictalkington5674 Yeah that all it is look at me. And the minute they drive it off the dealership lot they lost thousand of dollars on it. The bad about the old muscle cars is they are getting out of the reach of most middle class people because the rich started over paying for them and jack up the price for all of us. I had a 68 dart GTS And had a 67 GTX but sold them thinking I would get me something else and it just never happened and probably won’t that was many blue moon ago. They were still affordable at that time not cheap but affordable not no more. For something nice your talking 30 to 40 thousand and they probably will need work of some kind. But than they normally always do there always something you want nicer about them. A old car just makes you feel like your a part of it. Bring you back to a different time in are history I hate when they customize the interior because that is what makes them so different from cars today. I just love that old car look when you get into one. I don’t care what they do under the car but leave the body and interior alone. Hopefully your dream will come true. Am hoping for you.
My #1 dream car! 😍😍😍
The most exciting car since the 1969 Boss 429. The 1969 is still my fav though, although this is a real "head turner" too. Great effort to combine new technology with classic beauty.
Yes sir nice build
Gosh I want one.
The Real BOSS 😘😍😘
Yes!!! Thanks for watching Ram!
MustangConnection1 Thank you so much for posting this Lovely Mustang video Have a Great day 😊👍👍
Yes, please.
And......drum roll this particular car started life as an F code ( 302) 69 coupe!
@@MustangConnection1 Interesting. I would not have thought that. Beautiful car.
Very very nice
Beautiful car
Hey Joe!
wow. beautiful
BOSS is awesome
Agreed! Thanks for watching Leo!
Wow 👏 😮 👏
Epic 🏆
Sweet
Eye candy.👍👍👍👍👍
C'mon, just show us how this baby looks flying on asphalt 🙏
WOW
Damn that's hot! Holy shit man. I LOVE the black with the red writing. I prefer the Magnum (?) rims which would look great but it looks tight as is.
Not Bad for a Brand New 69 BOSS 429 Mustang! Even starting at $209,000.00 and considering what comes as Standard Equipment is not bad as well!
It even has a 4R70W 4sp Auto Trans Option at No Cost! For those of us who are tired of Shifting in our Old Age!...I am Just Saying!
Meanwhile, Rich!...Nice Review as Always!...God Bless!
Thanks David, I know it is a big $ number but think about what a very limited number of the originals are going for. The motor set up alone in this car is 25 to 30k. For those with he means a heck of a car.
Wow
It's a grate car buy unlike the old days no blue collar worker will ever be able to afford one :(
Clearly not for everyone, but even trying to build or cobble one together on your own is big bucks.
AWESOME! I noticed there's no side marker lights in the rear did they have them? I can't remember. Love it. I'd love to hear it idle from the back. Overhead console great idea Jason. I loved the turn signal lights on my hood scoop. Yeah I like the Cobra Jet/Mach 1 scoops more than the Boss 429 it's not my thing for a none Boss car. Got to have it on a real Boss though that would be wrong not to. You know I never noticed the side vents were not on Boss 302's only on the Boss 429's.
Thanks for watching and commenting, there are a lot of custom touches on this one so the side markers must have been on of them. In 69 the only sporstroof without the side scoops was indeed the Boss 302.
Clapping in the modern day: Bring out cell phones then take pictures.
Is it a 2,4 or 5 seater? It looks to me like a 4
Damn
Are they going to do a Mach 1 ?
How did they setup the brake system?? Did they setup Hydro Boost for brakes? Looking for a brake system that will fit in a 69 Mustang with the Boss 9 engine.
I went to there website: classic-recreations.com ...under Brakes they listed Front Wilwood 6 Piston and the Rear are Wilwood 4 Piston, Slotted, Crossdrilled and Zinc Washed and Adjustable Rear Proportioning Valve!
That's all that was listed, so you may have to call them for more specifics on their Braking System concerning what type of Booster they used!...Well I Hope this Helps!...God Bless!
I want to buy the car, it's really a BAD BOY!😍
They are making and selling them
What is the costingg
Will this car ever see the track or is it destined to be a show queen?
Hard to say the original owner tracked all of his cars but this has been sold at a Barrett-Jackson auction earlier this year.
One beautiful car. I like the owner he's not going to have a car he's not going to drive.
Very cool on every level but shouldn't the valve covers read 429? Why is there 429 badging on the fenders with a 546 cu. in. engine?
It is a stroked and bored 429 so it gets labeled as a "Boss 429" on the fender call out likely because of the licensing agreement and then free to disclose the real cubes under the hood it seems.
The boss 429 was not available in the Torino, the thunder jet 429 was.
True, but they homologated the Boss 429 in the Mustang for Nascar(Winston Cup) racing in the Torino.
I want to hear it purrrrrrrr......
I am supposed to be getting a test drive in this soon, stay tuned !
Get the women, kids and Chevys off the street !!!
A subtle nod to Big Daddy Ed Roth, you have my respect.
Daaaamn that engine 546 cu? How many litres are?! Anyone knows the convertion?
8.94
@@MustangConnection1 DAAAAAAMN!!!
Can you explain me what mean having the “license” to build the Boss 429? I mean, this car should be a “resto mod” (or “pro touring”, I never real get the difference) and having the license to built it from Ford, I guess, what does it mean exactly?
By the way, this thing is pure evil on wheels... 😍
It means that Ford sold them a license to legally call these Boss 429's. They pay Ford a fee for each car sold and an upfront and have to meet certain criteria to be considered a Ford authorized continuation. They can be configured to look more like the original depending on whomever orders them is my understanding.
That is pretty bad ass, what is the price on it ?
Freddie Mac 75,000 and tax
Starting Price is $209,000.00!...Hope that Helps!...God Bless!
BTW!...You can check out there website for more information!
$209.000.00
Just seen this Dodge demon wouldn't have a chance
Hellcat killer
How much it cost to make it? 3 million?
More like 4 mil
it should be the ending car of john wick
Does anyone know the top speed of the car
Doubt they have done any top speed tests on this platform and set up yet. Contact Classic Recreations directly if anyone would have that info it would be them
should be up to 200 mph
69年式 めっさ欲しい
A wonderful car. Still, someone with mechanical skills who's willing to do most of the work themselves can do this for far less than 209,000 plus dollars. BTW, a NASCAR race engine makes about 2.5 hp/ci while this car is at about 1.5.
NOW THAT'S SWEETER THAN SWEET O YA MAN NOTHING LIKE IT MUSTANGS MAKE IT HAPPENED GIDDIE UP 🐎 PONEY 🐎
Must be nice to be wealthy
I love this. But fr..if y'all want to bring these back the lower the price. Shit..average guys use to be able to buy these cars..now it's just the rich. Come on now
selling a car as uknown
i will buy it

" of course its " killer" ( its john wicks car )
I hope and pray it's not going to be some limited edition shit.
I hate limited edition cars.
I wish more companies would go back to making the old car's like that and make them permanently.
I don't like the looks of the new cars.
I pray that they put an oversized cam in that car. Because that car deserves to chop.
Speakers in the footwells????? Not gonna fly......................
I remember trying those on a previous car and sent them back.
As soon as they put on 20 inch rims and rubber band tires, I start to projectile vomit. Doesn't look better than the original. I don't have an issue with the upgrades, I have a problem with the change in exterior appearance. That's my personal opinion. I hate the low profile tires and huge rims.
N.a.. ?? What's up b.. ?? Turbo, n.o.s... Super charger.. .. This car is what it's about. . ALL MOTOR.. WHY? BECAUSE IN TEXAS , WE KEEP. OUR BALLS DRY.. 🤷🤷
Brunette on the front row. I can't unlove you..come love me for now.
The all new Boss four trenty stupid. Get me while they last. It won5 be long.
FFS, learn how to use a camera, this is like trying to watch a video while riding a roller coaster. smh
It's an awesome car but it is NOT a BOSS 429 other than that pretty decal on the fender. They should have called it something else.
John Schieffer oh shut up
BOSS NINE or BOSS 9 Litre.
Except this IS a 429 - With it being a licensed car it has to comply with Fords designation of a 429. Does it have some modern creature comforts like modern audio, AC, EFI and OBDII? Yes. Is it safer in terms of crumple zones in the event of an accident? Absolutely. But its still a 429 in terms of overall design and spec. It is a custom in a way but its still extremely faithful.
too much hp. a gt car should not have more than 550
Why not?
That's not the holy Grail boss
69 boss 429 that's all original an not touched is the money
Obviously, but it's licensed thru Ford.
I don't like that whole 'black wheel' fad, it makes it seem like the car was in a fire!
Shelby GT350 is much better car in many ways
*Sweet*
