Every time I see one of these older Mustangs I think about my god father. He had an old Mustang that he converted to a 302 V8 with 4 to the floor. He didn’t stop there. He built that 3, 0, 2 to rev. With a cam profile that made great power once you hit about 4k on the tach. It was an tour de force till about 6500-6800 Revolutions. At which point you would shift and go thru that surge of power all over again.
I wish he had never sold it. And, when he did my story about a built old Mustang comes to an end.

This is a beautiful car - lots of power and terrific looks - but probably using a 69 donor car.
My step dad had an original 429. He owned it for two weeks before in was stolen and parted. Original 429s sell for up to $550K.

A liter is 61 cubic inches. 9 of them are 549 cubic inches. 546 is close enough for government work.
546 cubic inches is about 8,949 cc.

I drove my Uncles 45th Anniversary GT around Michigan International Speedway for Mustang's 50th event, and there was a yellow Boss 429 equipped with cutouts. Most amazing Mustang sound I have ever heard in my life.
That is such a badass mustang! I really love the way they did so many modifications but due to the fact that it's subtly done, you are forced to continuously look over the car and try to figure out every modification! Every time you look at the car you see something different so, I really appreciate the way they did it and the way donut media covered this car! Great job James and crew, always look forward to looking at the next latest video! Peace! ⚡🖤⚡

theman68and1 In the movie it’s a Mach 1 instead of the Boss 429, if you notice in one of the frames where he’s driving on the runway. The car doesn’t have a side badge for the 429, instead it has a stripe at the bottom of both sides saying Mach 1

Also the fact they replaced the suspension is a huge plus since the originals had caveman leaf springs lmfao!! Would've never gone around any corners like that.

When I was 10 years old I saw a 1959 mustang boss 429 roll across The auction block at Mecumand ever since then I've wanted one is my dream car as I watch the auction price go up to $519,000 I knew that I most likely would never have one, but videos like this are some good solace 😂😂😂
