Yes sir, is this propane capable of being able to be concentrated into a lethal flame to kill me some Zerg? Cuz those darn things are the size of my dog.. Sarge was there when it happened
Thank you very much for this one! Actually for all of them. Glad you feel better! No matter what it is better to wait a little and heal, we are here, we will wait a couple of days! Thank you!
This is how you know you made a good game, makes me think of my competitive counter strike years. Every game had all the same elements but everything changes with how you put all those elements together. Another one is chess, it has evolved over the years without any dlc.
I only watch SC1 through ArtosisCasts so maybe I've only seen weird things but I think I've only seen like 3 games where any firebat was involved. One of them was actually Tasteless casting a bisu rush against Savior. So 2 actually
I know most people are against the concept of patching this game, but legit make the dark swarm image represent its actual aoe is something I would want patched in. Literally a graphical change.
The average cell is replaced in 7 years, but some are much faster (ie: skin every few weeks) and some are much slower (ie: skeletal muscles ~15 years) and some never (spinal cord nerves).
1:25: The thing re: "all your molecules get replaced every X years" is something of an urban legend. Some cells do get replaced regularly, and some others (neural tissue?) don't get replaced at all.
Aside from whole cells being recycled, individual cell components have to be replaced as well. For example, the phospholipid molecules making up the cell membrane of neurons are replaced about every three weeks.
@@ssolon But the DNA in the nucleus of a cell only changes chemically when it replicates or is repaired. Very little of the DNA will be repaired over a cell's life, and neurons don't replicate. Some neurons do actually get replaced over a lifetime, but very few.
Warning! Objects under Cheeto cloud are closer than they appear. Lurker is not under dark swarm, even though it is. There's another spot that isn't under the dark swarm, but it is. Just Broodwar things
I have always liked the Firebat. It is one of my favorite SC1 units. I know it is bad, but it is *cool* to me. I love them a lot more in SC2 because of their buffs and the bonuses in the WoL campaign, the Devil Dogs are amazing on certain maps. But I would love to use them more in SC1. When I do play Terran I like using them in the early game with some Medics to keep them blazing.
Interesting ideas by Taengu, but the stubbornness with the dropship use against an excellent player is a bad sign ahead of ASL. Will be curious to see how he does though - some good fundamentals and interesting build selection!
RT your brain doesn't get replaced, adult neurogenesis only happens in a small number of brain regions. But your brain may have changed a lot in other ways. And I agree with your overall point.
@artosis - why do high level zergs spread their hatcheries out so much (like we see at 12:40)? Doesn't that make the zerg macro harder since you can't box-select multiple hatcheries worth of larva with the hatch's spread?
What you said about older games, that's a problem I have with falcon paladin. Notable games are great, but a random 3 year old game is really not that useful.
TaEngGu seems to be missing some fundamentals still. He lost all his science vessels over and over often in oversights. At that point it was pretty close to over. He had no way to limit the zerg gas units so he had to gamble on BC's. No flock of Science Vessels while playing medic/marine? Just say GG.
To make your editing more annoying, but better for my personal viewing experience, can you add an occasional zoom into the queue tab at the top left so it goes full screen
I believe it is every 10 years every cell has been replaced leaving you as a new person. Cuz if you stop smoking (it does matter how old you are) at like 30 or 35, by the time you are 40/45 a doctor would not be able to tell if youve ever smoked before. Now if you stop at 65... its a different story obviously.
the orange fart cloud is just ridiculous, it should make you miss idk 50% of your shots but not 100%, you could basically win every game with 1 defiler and a zergling. I think the turning point was when Taengu lost his vessels for no reason at the top of the map.
I'm glad you gave up on uploading stormgste videos, game is TRASH. I hope you turned down their money too, because no amount of money is worth streaming their garbage game
I'm not loving stormgate as an esport so far. They've got it tuned too beefy for my taste that makes it less exciting. It's a grind out of high hp low damage units rather than an exciting battle. The campaign might be fun though.
T wins more often than not. Z basically has a few things that temporarily halts Terran from running them over in Mutas, lurkers and defilers. That's why vessel count and being active is so important, you put a clock on all the defilers and keep them on the zerg side of the map.
I don't give a s*** I'll watch old game I like starcraft replays. You got a good announcer or whatever you call you guys it can be fun . Even though it doesn't matter
Need a light?
Got a light?
Got a light?
Got a light?
Need a Light, not a Tengu
Need a dark? :)))
W comment
Possibly..
i get off night shift and back at the hotel just in time for artys casts. Thanks for all the hard work RT
Got any questions about propane?
Or... propane accessories?
Yes sir, is this propane capable of being able to be concentrated into a lethal flame to kill me some Zerg? Cuz those darn things are the size of my dog.. Sarge was there when it happened
Thank you very much for this one! Actually for all of them. Glad you feel better! No matter what it is better to wait a little and heal, we are here, we will wait a couple of days! Thank you!
damn Action has ALWAYS been a scary zerg, from I know him and Flash have practice sooo much together back in the day. Really helped both of them grow.
The Terran conducted himself in the highest form of bravery and honor 🎖 I salute him ✊️
Love the preview casts, thank you very much Artosis, agree with your views on stats/older meta games!
When i was young it was sunday morning cartoons, now its sunday morning artosis casts. Life is good.
Honestly I would’ve liked to see 10 flashes fight that Zerg army lol
"The meta has changed a lot in 7 years… "
Zerg: Rush Mutas 99.9% of games.
Protoss: dragoons & zealots are our only units.
Terran: Need a light?

I have seen firebats being used somewhat often against zerg
But definitely not a common unit even against zerg
The first drop attempt was unlucky but the second was just plain dumb 😂
3 times drop, 3 times plop.
One of the best overall Zerg performances I've seen in a while.
These preview matches are really cool. A nice appetizer for the main course
I love the preview matches. Gets me up to date on asl and the players
Gg. Thanks for the cast. Glad you’re feeling better, Artosis.
I know most people are against the concept of patching this game, but legit make the dark swarm image represent its actual aoe is something I would want patched in. Literally a graphical change.
100% agree, that's not a balance change its just fixing something that needs to be fixed.
So great to see some preview match! You are right!
Man I'm excited for this next season of ASL. These have been some good preview games
Excellent matchup! Thanks Artosis!
Thanks Arty! I can start making pancakes now. ☕️
Incredible game from Action. A great watch.
15:09 so the dark swarm is not a perfect graphical representation of where it is effecting
Action looked like he was on the ropes after the 14:00 attack at his nat and then suddenly he was up 30 supply and then the game was over.
Whenever i sit down to eat, i watch your videos. Which sucked when you were sick for a few days, because is was starving.
I think insisting with the dropship play put him so behind, man.
Yah but, if it had worked. Good chance he would have taken that expansion
@@jonathangardner4475 yeah, but after he was repelled the first time, the second time Action was super prepared.
The average cell is replaced in 7 years, but some are much faster (ie: skin every few weeks) and some are much slower (ie: skeletal muscles ~15 years) and some never (spinal cord nerves).
Artosis will always be good at commentating but bad at playing
The preview matches are awesome dude
I AM enjoying the preview matches. But still can't wait for ASL 😁
I can’t believe the few drop-ships attempts were failed, that is like free donations of those drop ships.
that was pretty epic. I feel like I never see Ultralisks in SC1 compared to in SC2, which is sad. they are one of my favorite units
1:25: The thing re: "all your molecules get replaced every X years" is something of an urban legend. Some cells do get replaced regularly, and some others (neural tissue?) don't get replaced at all.

Thanks for keeping bw alive! It's weird listening without donations going off as Woody from Toy Story talking about Sonic being double pregnant
wow a zerg that actually builds spore colonies!
Warning! Objects under Cheeto cloud are closer than they appear. Lurker is not under dark swarm, even though it is. There's another spot that isn't under the dark swarm, but it is. Just Broodwar things
Sweet game, I love games where ultralisks get to shine.
Firebats vs Zerg is so satisfying.
Hey guys welcome back to Artosiscas
I have always liked the Firebat. It is one of my favorite SC1 units. I know it is bad, but it is *cool* to me. These asl previews are absolute fire 🔥 😏
Are you trying to get invited to my next BBQ?
Probably should've used Defensive Matrix on those dropships instead of just repeatedly throwing them into scourges?
sick game dude. thanks artosis
Interesting ideas by Taengu, but the stubbornness with the dropship use against an excellent player is a bad sign ahead of ASL. Will be curious to see how he does though - some good fundamentals and interesting build selection!
The dropship of Theseus?
4:50 literally sheldon
Good Morning from good ole
west virginia
Mass Jack Frost
nice pengu
Thanks for the game ❤️
Remember: whatever the vid is titled, bet on the other player to win
Be so cool if it was JUST fbs lol
RT your brain doesn't get replaced, adult neurogenesis only happens in a small number of brain regions. But your brain may have changed a lot in other ways. And I agree with your overall point.
I wonder what happens in this video
Any chance for some SoulKey games prior to ASL proper?
@artosis - why do high level zergs spread their hatcheries out so much (like we see at 12:40)? Doesn't that make the zerg macro harder since you can't box-select multiple hatcheries worth of larva with the hatch's spread?
Fire it up 🔥
Please can you do another carbot cast?
This is an awesome game....😎
Need a Light?🔥
"helps me prepare for asl as well" i thought he meant qualify for asl himself. aim higher, artosis 😆!
Imagine a drug so potent (stim) that you run faster than flying dragons (mutalisk)
20:24 on the last vid...20:25 on this one. Artosis hinting at some sort of move again ?
What you said about older games, that's a problem I have with falcon paladin. Notable games are great, but a random 3 year old game is really not that useful.
MY LIFE FOR AIUR

It's amazing how a top ladder dude gets stomped by a pro... goes to show how superior Korean pros really are...
1:31 😄😄😄😄
Mr Artosis, do NOT watch the Light vs Snow vod from a few days ago.
To make your editing more annoying, but better for my personal viewing experience, can you add an occasional zoom into the queue tab at the top left so it goes full screen
25 SCV can build 4 rax 2cc + tech :)
1 fully saturated base = 4 rax
Always love me a T V Z
Ur a good guy
Well done Zerg, he won despite using an inferior race against the imba Terran, kudos!
is tengu related to pingu?
yes, 1st cousin
Horrible idea to continue dropships
I sell propane, and propane accessories
19:54 10 Flashes could micro a single SCV and win this game.
Of course Artosis doesn't want records from 7 years ago to show now because he still is no better than 7 years ago. Gottem.
taenggu had quite sloppy unit control throughout. feel like he couldve almost won it if this wasnt so
Tesagi
One small request is to decrease the screen-sliding speed. It's a bit disorienting to watch at times.

25 years of artosis playing brood war and I promise you don't need to prepare for asl your not knocking any1 out
ytho
Disgusting to watch. How not to play a Terran.
I'm glad you gave up on uploading stormgste videos, game is TRASH. I hope you turned down their money too, because no amount of money is worth streaming their garbage game
take your pills and do your homework, mom will be upset if you get held back another year
B-but the experts said...
Fr, people will disagree with you saying "iTs sTill in bETa", but i have to say the gameplay looks like your any average low budget rts indie game...
BW community is a class act as always. you people ever do anything but circlejerk?
I'm not loving stormgate as an esport so far. They've got it tuned too beefy for my taste that makes it less exciting. It's a grind out of high hp low damage units rather than an exciting battle.
The campaign might be fun though.
Never understood why darkswarm lasts so long, especially when the deflier can nom a few lings to recharge its energy to continue casting spells.
Darkswarm lasts for 7 years just like RT was talking about
Nerfing dark swarm would make late game ZvT impossible.
T wins more often than not. Z basically has a few things that temporarily halts Terran from running them over in Mutas, lurkers and defilers.
That's why vessel count and being active is so important, you put a clock on all the defilers and keep them on the zerg side of the map.
Zerg NEEDS dark swarm, Terran is still massively OP overall
FIRSTTTT :OOO
congratulations, you deserve it.
Based on Terran having literally no melee units...dark swarm is broken as hell against them huh?
I don't give a s*** I'll watch old game I like starcraft replays. You got a good announcer or whatever you call you guys it can be fun . Even though it doesn't matter
