This is the first time I have seen a person with straight hair with Locs that I absolutely love and has done a great job with maintenance and upkeep. Well I mean in a neat sectioned way ... Keep up the good work. It looks well maintained and it fits you. 😊
Oh my goodness it’s so fun watching your dreads evolve! They are so so beautiful. I’ve noticed you’ve mentioned your eczema twice and I wanted to reach out and say that my husband has suffered from chronic eczema on his feet for as long as I’ve known him and just this year he started noticing that, along with stress, what he eats plays a huge role in his outbreaks and he’s managed to go symptom free for a while from looking into autoimmune safe foods. He doesn’t eat a perfect AIP diet because it’s not worth it to him but it’s always good to have another trick up your sleeve. Hope this is helpful 🙂
Hey lovely! thank you so much I'm so grateful for your support ☺️ also I have heard that your diet can play a massive part but I've not heard of autoimmune foods so i will defiantly look into that because I've had eczema on my arms for nearly a year now, i thought having a vegan diet would help but its not made a difference tbh haha! thanks so much again, sending loveee 🤍✨
You're welcome, I have finally gotten to start my dread journey almost 2 weeks ago. So I have baby baby dreads lol I can't wait to see what they will look like in a years time.
I’ve had my dreads for about 4 years I wash mine once or twice a week if I wait any longer my head feels terrible I wish I could just let it be for a few weeks. I also swim in the ocean a lot so I have to wash them more frequent. Your dreads r beautiful!
Oh wow 4 years is amazing, id like to think ill make it to the 4 year mark, I am half way there currently ✌🏼😆 thank you so much for your support also! if i was in and out of the ocean often i would wash them just as much as you also, i did the same when i was travelling ☺️✨
Woah can't believe how long they are! really enjoyed your dread videos so gonna have a nosey at your travel vlogs now :D I have a tip for the drying time: micro fibre towel - they absorb more water and faster
Thank you so much lovely i really appreciate your support 🙏🏼 i hope you enjoy the travel vlogs just as much 🌞 And great too about the microfibre towel i might have to invest in a new one as mine is only a medium and my dreads are now past my butt cheeks! 👀 Thanks again 🤍
I love your videos, it's so weird the furniture like the bedside drawers and rock salt lamp is literally the same as mine. Feel like ur a sister. Hope you're ok in the pandemic!
Hey Megan! thank you fo much for your support its greatly appreciated 🙏🏼 also woahhh about the bedside table haha how bizarre is that! great minds think alike ✌🏼😉 I am doing well thank you for asking and i hope you are doing well also! love and light to you 🤍🌞
Did your dread extensions shrink as well as your natural dreadlocks?? I cant find anything online about this topic you did slightly touch on it but never went in to details. I'd love to know, thanks sugar love your hair xxx
@@MelissaBaker. awsome thanks for letting me know, I have dreads with real human hair extensions no synthetic as they make me itch and I honestly couldn't find anywhere online that said about shrinkage with them, thankyou for replying to me x
Hey Lovely! so my hair extensions defiantly shrank, i think that was because i was in and out of the sea soo often, so it can vary. i would say over time the extensions also have a locking process where they just tighten up a little but i wouldn't say they do it half as much as your natural hair. also my hair extensions are with real hair ☺️ i hope this helps 🙏🏼🤍
Check out the funky soap shop, it’s a uk based brand and is really nice. She’s shut for now but after quarantine I’m sure she’ll be back up and running and I honestly miss my old shampoo so much now I’ve had to change brands :(((
Hey thank you for your channel, very helpful. I wanted to ask you how you do have so much more volume on this movie ? On the other you have less it seems. It is beautiful ❤ i have a bit more then half head and only 23 dreads, im not very happy with it, i think you have 52 right? I think you dont have much volume then me before dreads, i guess mine were just not well done. Thanks
Aww you are so welcome and thank you for your support love 🤍 the volume is probable just from the fact they were freshly done then they just shrank loads over time, thats why i ended up getting extensions. Yeah i had 52, so yeah in can imagine 23 is not that many they must be quite thick. What did you do in the end, did you keep the dreads, re-do or remove? ☺️
Your hair looks gorgeous. Just considering getting mine done but researching it first to see if it's right for me. I'm guessing you're from the South in the UK? Where did you gets yours done? What sort of price would you expect to pay? Thanks x
Hey lovely, thank you so much 🙏🏼 and yess thats amazing! i am and my sister done them for me, she has her own business doing dreadlocks, check out her IG page its under dreadydone_dreadlocks . Also i done many dreadlock related videos on my channel if you want to check them out to help you decide. I was the same as you, constantly researching to see if it was right for me. 🌞
Ellisha Day when mine get a little flat try rolling the flat parts in your fingers after u wash them. When they are wet I notice at least with mine they can form back to a round shape. It may take a a few tries to get it right but I would try it!
Hey Ellisha, yes i have had that happen, and ditto to what 'Jaimie & Damon' said palm rolling is great for them and also doing a little bit of maintenance on them if the dreads not to solid ✌🏼 I hope that helps 🙏🏼✨
Water will 100% shrink and loc your hair, but you shouldn’t be washing your hair on a regular. Once or twice a month man. The whole point is less maintenance, no build up and natural loccing. Just leave them be.
This is true! i think everyones different, i know some people who would wash weekly! that was too much for me, once a month was enough but i could have left it two max, my head would just get so itchy and sore if i didn't wash it so i think that why some people just take the plunge 🤭🙏🏼
How do you deal with sweating a lot doing exercise? I'm really interested in getting locs but I usually exercise 3-5 days a week and I always wash my hair because I don't like leaving sweat on my scalp

Your dreads look freakin amazing. The transmission in the year is crazy.
Thank you so much Rose 🙏🏼 haha i know right, so mad how much they shrunk in the year, i defiantly blame it on the sea 😆

If it's natural hair it will shrink, whilst fake hair will not :-)

Your locks look beautiful
Thank you so much 🙏🏼🌞
How many dreads do you have?? I just got dreads and I only have 27 and I think I want to take them out and redo them with smaller sections.
I had 52 love! yeah 27 is not a lot. What did you di in the end did you end up removing them and re-doing them? ✨🤍
Love your locs 💕
Thank you so much 🤍🙏🏼☺️
Where’s that dread wrap/ style video at 😉
unfortunately I've got no dreads anymore to do that video 🙈
Dreads UK has tons of products for dreads . They have dread bombs that clean them
Ahh brilliant! thank you for sharing 🙏🏼🤍
Have your dreads ever gone a little flat? If yes how did you stop that

I heard they shrink as they mature and tighten up.
Yeah they 100% do this!, mind shrank more than the average though due to going in and out of the sea often! ✌🏼
Do dreadlocks give hair growth because your hair looks extremely long now!
@Bubble Works she had extensions put in .
they do and they don't, first year they usually shrink then they begin to grow, but yeah since this video i had extensions added ✌🏼🌞
